The issue is that Reggie is relentlessly terrible. Compared to all those Adventure Time inspired Calarts shows, this is a renaissance painting.

I mean, liking visuals is pretty subjective. If you're not a fan, then it's whatever. Bit I actually dig the bright whimsy of Endless Island contrasting with the bleaker, subdued tones of the Iowa winter.

Yeah it's definitely going for that era look. It's not 100% perfect but pretty good attempt. Sometimes the show feels like a snapshot from the 2000s.

They're short episodes, 11min each (save for the first which is 23). So it's pretty easy to semi binge it in bigger chunks. Watch the first 10 or so and see how you feel. Things get heavier in the second half though.
