Huntik popped up on Netflix, it's actually really good. I was surprised. Helps that Sophie hits all the fetishes.

Does it have a resolution or does it just end with nothing resolved? I try to avoid shows that leave me with an empty and unsatisfied feeling.

I tried to like Huntik, but dear God ... it was like I was watching a low-budget tv show. The animation was fine, the problem was the director and writers.
They were exceptionally boring. Something like Samurai Jack makes climbing look intense and immersive as hell.
When Huntik makes the blonde kid climb a cathedral it feels stiff, dull, boring as hell.
Even a fucking Assassin's Creed gameplay video is more interesting to watch than Huntik. Huntik is like the complete opposite of what you're suppose to do as a storyboard artist and director.

It resolves the majority of plot threads, but does leave 1-2 open (as a "next season" sort of deal).

Huntik could have used more downtime so you could get to know the characters better. The pacing was ass, even if the plot was fun. Also, too damn much of the show is recycled monster animation to fill time. Very little happens in an individual episode. I would not say it is underrated, just not well known.
