Nah, I've actually spoken to people who worked in computer science and they've pretty much all said that a lot of corporations are looking into AI at the very moment. If you code and your specialty is AI, might be worth looking into IBM, Google, etc. It's where corporations are putting their money into right now.

I think it's more accurate to say that it looks like the real world will go cyberpunk very soon. We're definitely headed to real cyberpunk but we're not quite there yet.
