That franchise must be nothing but a tax evasion scheme.

Waot what? Since when?

So this is Alpha and Omega BIS.

Four? You're joking.

This.

Being able to crank out cheap, garbage sequels in a short period of time is where cheap 3D animation is really able to shine. A zero-effort 2D film is still cheaper to make than an equivalent 3D film but the latter's assets are easier to reuse. Especially since the sequels are less than an hour long; they probably only have to create a few new things for each one.

Schneider was probably the most expensive thing about the film anyway and they jettisoned him after the first one.

Cheating taxes and insurance off the first one flopping almost certainly made more money for them than the film earned at the box office.

I see they're getting inspiration from the best money laundering scheme series.

Has this come out with any new sequels or did they finally stop?

Honestly, I'm surprised that they didn't make The Land Before Time go CGI and start making twenty more sequels that way.

It stopped on the 8th, Journey to the Bear Kingdom.

WAIT Four?! The first movie was a critical and financial failure, its first sequel did no better in fact it did much worse. It's flat out universally loathed by everyone what kind if audience still cares?

I never bothered

I prefer Steve of the South

Earl of the East is better

Will of the West is the best movie of all time you philistines.

C'mon, people. They're all shit.

What about Carl of the Center?

Even Saul of the Southeast?

But Noel of the Northwest is fun in a "so bad it's good" kind of way.

No, it's just 3D animation.

2D animation: you have to draw every fucking frame from scratch.
3D animation: still not easy, but once you've got the models done for the first movie/episode, you can keep reusing them over and over again, so if you can get a penny for making something new you may as well.

I feel like one of these should be a possum but I cant figure out which.

that looks kino

Its just a clipshow of the first movie.

user, the vast majority of 2D movies nowadays use puppet rigs, plus tweening, you don't actually draw every frame.

Why do all of these characters have fetal alcohol syndrome
