Ladybug and or Chat don't work, for the same reason the TMNT or the Xiaolin monks don't, they're already part of their own team.

Juniper doesn't work, she has a problem where she can't leave her city unless it's a world wide magic apocalypse, which makes her hard to write around. She's good for an arc where everything is going bad and Jake calls in the magical cavalry.

El Tigre I think works on the B-Team. Notice that he shares a quality, a theme, with the others that they don't share with the A-team: the A-team are "teen action heroes" the B-Team are "hero apprentices in a more comedic setting".
In that vein I suggest the fifth be Shezow.

The twins don't work as superheroes. They're supernatural investigators, they need an investigators team. The old idea is the Mystery Kids a team-up with Coraline, Norman (from Paranorman), Raz and Lili from Psychonauts and maybe Dib from Invader Zim.

She's a huge, clearly non-human robot who everyone is likely to know is clearly meant for combat(she's not exactly subtle).

Rumor has it some secret society has placed a hit on him.

Ben's head is that of a Mannequin with poorly done googly eyes that looks downright uncanny. Not helped is the poorly drawn smile that's uneven and doesn't even fit the mannequin's face. Then the mannequin itself had been partly destroyed, resulting in half it's chest being a jumbled mass of cardboard, toilet paper rolls, and paper mache that are SUPPOSED to make Ben look all encompassing, super muscular, downright herculean but it fails as it's all mushed in from rainfall. So there's toilet paper slowly dripping off, the arm muscles are slowly slinking to the ground, and the glove hands are partly eaten by moths.

Then to make matters worse? The intense summer heat has partly melted the face, making Ben look like a brainlet who slobbers all over the dinner table. But despite all this, countless students from the middle school come from the city to pay tribute to Ben. For if they can't accept the imperfections of Ben, then they aren't worthy of Ben's gifts and will be VRIGINS FOREVER!

i don't think it was ever secret. The other kids know she's a secret agent (or whatever she is, her job doesn't really have a title) but it's kind of just not really acknowledged in the school scenes

It never was. Kim put out a website that said "She can do anything" for what was supposed to be for babysitting jobs, some rich tycoon accidentally brought up her website while trying to get help, and she arrived to save him. Kim somehow decided to keep on doing jobs like that and soon became a globe-trotting adventurer.

The origin was explained in the time travel TV movie, but she never had a secret identity. Everyone knew, but nobody made a big deal about it.

favors are voluntary. Those people are helping her out of genuine goodwill she inspired with her actions. If they are payment, they're more like a tip than a bill.

Majority of the school hates him, but he'll still manage to somehow have a small possi of mostly freshmen and the Special Needs kids. He'll get along with exactly one other teacher and it'll be the teacher that everybody hates.

A later episode had Kim meeting the special-ops team that the tycoon was originally trying to summon, and they hated how Kim was putting their high-priced heroics out of business with her work-for-free ethic. Wade ultimately had to step out of his room and do something about them when they started wrecking Kim's online network.

Cartman Burger: a relatively weak group made up of the dejected and the dim witted, but this court of fools is lead by a devious and utterly malicious kid out to get revenge on his hometown.
>Cartman. The leader. Devious, amoral, cruel, and pitiless, he even rivals Ben at times.
>Lars. His second in command who mostly bludgeons the others into obedience.
>Sadie. The lieutenant. She's just there due to having pretty low confidence and dating Lars.
>Onion of the Consult. Representative of the special ed kids. But do not be fooled, he may be just as devious and cruel as Cartman himself.
>Mac. Kid still obsessed with imaginary friends. Low confidence due to being outcasted, now a pawn for Cartman.
>Peedee. Kid got outcasted due to his poor economic background. Now hangs out as one of Cartman's many minions. Has a mascot paranoia.

Relations: despite Cartman having low influence at the school, he has a vast information network that might even rival Jenny's.
>'The Eds': a supplier of bootlegged second hand goods. Rumored to be the ones maintaining the Ben shrine.
>'Rusty Shackleferd': mysterious information brooker. Gives inside information on the football games.

"I thought we were bruhs!" Suddenly Ben noticed a note for him, sitting on the dresser. "Yo? What's this?" Ben opened it, reading the letter on his chest. His face turning pale as a few pictures dropped onto his stomach.
"No!"
"What?"
"The Fat Fuck... He knows! He knows!" Ben turned at Kevin pleadingly. Kevin, despite it all, liked Ben even with his celebrity induced doucheness.
"Who? Cartman? Oh fuck me, if I have to deal with that bitchy campfire girl again just to save your ass, I'm going to beat you senseless!"

So, what other characters could fit any of the other teams? Maybe a C team or something like that. Or maybe replacing Dipper and Mabel and create a mistery team

"Alright," Kevin slammed his fists on the table, his eyes menacing. "I know all about the Fat Fuck! I know about the funding, I know about the cookies, the bootleg Chinese uniforms, the Arlen connection, the Eds!"
But the Campfire lass had dealt with Kevin before and she just narrowed her blue eyes, "What Fat Fuck?"
"You know who he is. Cartman, has a pack of retards following him around. That Onion... THING. The depressed French Fry kid. I have pictures!" Kevin threw some pictures on the table, showing Peedee and the others buying chocolate, somber faces as they carried them off to their master. "Yeah? Bet you can't weasel your way outta that one." Kevin rested his arms on his chest, looking smug.
"The lads just bought some cookies. I dinnae no any Cartman." The girl frowned. Her first experience with Kevin frightened her but now... He was just a 7/11 guy who bummed off a celebrity. In fact, she was pretty sure they were gay. "I did you see you buy choclate for Ben. The cherry Turtles. Guess yee boyfriend dinnae like it."
Kevin flushed. "You... Shuttup!"
"Oh?" She put her hands on her hips. "What are ye goin' to do about it, eh gobshite?"
"I... Uh... Wushaa!" Kevin flung some sand hidden within his sleeves, all straight into her eyes.
"Ahh!" She screamed as Kevin began grabbing as chocolate as he could before running into Ben's car. Ben looked over, "what? You got it?"
"Yeah, drive! DRIVE!" They took off. Later on the way to the High School, Kevin had finished his second box.
Ben looked over, "so? What did she tell you?"
"Huh?"
"Yeah?"
"You go to school with Cartman. Mmm, this is pretty good candy." Kevin had no time to react as Ben pulled over, kicked him out of the car, and drove off. Flipping the bird.

Well, all the kids in high school loved Danny Phantom, and at the end of Phantom Planet, his identity was public and everyone loved him for waving the world

It would go Kim (But she's above it all and hangs with the lower class.) Jenny (Maybe not at first Cause people might freak, but she'd be popular fast. Most people would want to be her friend due to the exclusiveness of a Robo-girl at school.) Ben (Cool, Decent Person, slightly above Average popularity), Jake (Who's wannabe cool), Danny (Who'd be a well meaning loser klutz.)

This is assuming their all Freshmen to start. The boys would rise in popularity a bit at first, by Junior Ben and Jake would be just as popular as Kim and Jenny (Possibly Danny but he hangs out with losers) But by senior year they'd all be the most popular kids in school because they'd definitely form a bond over their hero-ness.

Let's say everyone's extravagant lives were kept secret, how would things change?

S1:
>Starts out with Danny getting picked on, Ben trying out for the football team, Jenny just getting activated, and Kim becoming a Cheerleader. It's a lot like Smallville with Kevin being a bad influence on Ben. Dash and the Cousins are the main antagonists, trying their absolute best to mess with the protagonists.
>Monsters of the week do pop up. Mostly Scoobtier jokers trying to make money in the face of a massive economic recession. 'Mask Gangs' are a huge subplot and provide lots of filler with Ben's friend Tucker, getting initiated just to protect himself. This leads to a falling out that paves the way for the next couple of seasons.
>September-October: Ben gets invited to the prom by one of the sexiest seniors. Kevin begins the feud with the Campfire girls. A depressed Danny gets hit by the ghost zone. Jenny meets Kim and the two team up. There's some real tension between Ben and Ron over Kim.
>Halloween. Cartmen is introduced, as is his band of minions. A botched sacrifice ends with a evil spirit trying to ruin the Halloween party. The four stop it, though nobody notices and their reputations are still minor.
>November-December: Ben rises high in the Football team. Befriends Dash who becomes his right hand man, which makes the bully lay off on Ben. Jenny deals with celebrity life and her attempts to fit in.
>Christmas finale: Tucker ends up trying to break into Wall Street (Kevin's also there, hiding from cops). All four mobilize to stop him. Danny has to take on his friend in single combat, almost losing but Kevin kills Tucker at the last moment. Saving Danny's life but setting Kevin on a dark path. The finale ends with Ben, Jenny, and Kim all leaving for home while Danny gets left behind at home. He reflects on his failed friendship with Tucker, blaming himself for it's dissolution.

S2:
>Ben sees Danny sitting in a cafeteria, lonely. Frowns but is swept up by Dash, getting to see the old gang again. Jenny alludes to almost ruining Christmas. Ben is then swept along again by a massive crowd, and it's revealed a lot of girls fancy him. Danny watches dejected from the sidelines, Sam makes a small cameo.
>Later that day, Danny links up with Kevin, the two deciding to do vigilante/Private Eye work as a means to prevent another Tucker. They break up a drug deal between the Harlequins and the Creepers. The Mask Gangs are still alive and well.
>The season still resembles Smallville with Kevin being wishy washy towards Ben, and oddly close to Danny. Gwen appears midway, building up tension as she grows closer with Kevin, which Ben isn't happy with. Jenny likewise has to deal with Brad getting angry with her liking towards Ben, and starting to wonder about her creator. A bit like Data.
>The Mask Gangs eventually give way to the Old Mafiosi Families who restore order in the wake of the recession. But the Families do not take kindly to the up and coming heroes...
>Spring Break: Jenny searches for the missing Doctor Wakeman while Ben heads down to Florida. Ben ends up encountering a alien, the first of many, who tries to off him. Ben stops it, gets the girl, then goes back home. Jenny meanwhile, has her body briefly stolen by a mad inventor who knew Wakeman.
>Danny and Kevin get ambushed by the mob, barely escaping with their lives. Kevin's live in Hippie-Van gets bombed with Paulie 'kill the children too' Franchetti after him. The duo resolve to end the Mafia once and for all...
>Some filler, some aliens, Jenny encountering other robots... Kim noticing the Mob movements. It builds up to the four teaming up once again to storm Paulie's mansion. Kim uses her secret agent skills to great effect. This is her moment to shine and the heroes win.
>Series finale: everyone leaves for Summer and Ben is left alone. Though he's a little happier.
