Isn't Dragon Zord Like mystical Magic Robot or some shit like that? I say that cause if I remember correctly the Zords fell in to a river of Lava and came back no problem, I assume the same goes for the Dragon Zord Shit it's the only one that Survived and is stuck under water.

Not really. DB is gonna make it look like Kiryu is gonna win but turns out Tommy fucking put the Dragonzord on autopilot and fucking infiltrated Kiryu like he did to the Megazord.

I'm just torn on this battle because I'm a big PR fan and I've also recently been getting into Goji stuff.

I mean I watched a few episodes of Power Rangers and most of them where the Green Ranger episodes, and the Dragon Zord was a beast of a machine in all of them. he 1 vs 2 a few monsters.

I’m also torn, Kiryu was in like the first Godzilla movies I ever saw, but I’ve always dug Dragonzord’s look and the color green, plus I love Zords.

I'm just a big tokusatsu fan in general which is good since both are toku things. All about those special effects and shit.

Yeah, though shit gets crazier with the Sentais that haven't been localized yet. Lupinranger might've been shit but it had one of the best first episode fight scenes.

Megazord also struggled against a shape shifter monster that turned into it saying it was just as strong as the real DZ and that they couldn't beat it without Tommy's help.

Their fights have gotten a lot better recently.

Same. I’ve been a massive Godzilla fan since I was a kid and I’ve been a Power Rangers fan for just as long. I’m rooting for Kiryu, but it would still suck to see the Dragonzord lose. This is similar to how I felt towards Goku vs Superman.

They could do a ton if they're willing to look into non-english stuff. You got Ultraman, Kamen Riders, Metal Heroes, that could all be pulled from.
Really want to see Takeshi vs Tommy because it would be the ultimate East vs West toku fight between the respective franchises biggest fan favorites.

They’re giving him Dragonzord battle mode. It has been shown that he is able to summon other zords without other rangers, yet some people are getting butthurt about this.

When did they say they were doing it? Not that I have anything against Tommy getting the other zords, but I can't recall this being stated anywhere.

Yeah, but I'd be fine with it if Kiryu got outside help too. I mean Kiryu can only access the Berserk mode if it hears Godzilla's roar which is pretty much outside help.

Berserk mode is Kiryu’s DNA Computer making it so that it remembers that it’s Godzilla. Kiryu is built around the skeleton of the original Godzilla, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they make it a composite Godzilla for this fight.

Berserk mode is overrated. If anything it makes Kiryu weaker as he throws a tantrum and stops listening to tactical orders.

Yeah. Although there it was less berserk and more “I just want to die and be at peace” It acted on its own for the last bit of the movie and even wrote the main character a message on the computer.

Honestly one of the biggest issues with Dragonzord winning is that in the grandscale Power Rangers kaiju are no match for Godzilla kaiju, save for like final bosses.

Yeah it was fucking crazy. Even the worst villains can turn good because of the POWER OF FRIENDSHIP.
Build is just as good in my opinon. Main rider is competent, show handles the usual "dark forbidden form" well compared to others that resolve it in one episode, pretty fun villain, and Kazumi

Kind of? It doesn’t act as a traditional power boost, but it would essentially mean that Dragonzord is fighting Godzilla with all of his combat experience. Also, in the fight preview they alluded that Kiryu can do anything Godzilla can do. So stuff like tagging Gigan as he’s flying FTL and holding up a tectonic plate.

The one in 2000 isn't the 54 one. They never actually give him a backstory (or ever reference any other films), he's just there and has been for a while. They didn't focus on the story too much, they just wanted a new Godzilla movie as quick as possible.

Its canon in nearly every continuity that Mikey has the most raw talent and could be better than the rest combined if he needed to.
