Not really. Only 2 of its 5 episodes are worth a damn with Adventures in Light Distortion especially dragging it down because it contributes next to nothing to the whole arc aside from "Steven feels bad and they make it to the Zoo." Not to mention the Zoo itself was pretty uninteresting. Such an ominous concept yet all the Zoomans are happy and better off there.

They're literally children with no ability to grow, evolve or make decisions for themselves. It's the most anti-human thing there could possibly be. This isn't really a comment towards you, but I really don't get why crits flipped their shit over that just because there's human zoos IRL. It was never shown to be a good thing, it's a fucking prison.

More of a personal expectations thing. I hear the term "human zoo" I think humans abducted from Earth and made into glorified pets for the amusement of aliens, tortured souls taken from their homes to be day time distractions for extraterrestrial children. Though it makes sense since the Zoomans are clearly a nth generation that's been bred in this lifestyle for centuries and from an outside perspective it is unnerving, it still didn't feel satisfying or interesting to me since they were more or less okay with how they live. That and the likely possibility we won't ever see them again outside a cameo made the whole concept seem kinda pointless outside of the implications.

Just finished watching from start to finish. The townie episodes are way more tolerable when you're not waiting actual MONTHS for them.

That's fair, although Big Show is a really well put together episode if nothing else and the Greg/Sadie parallels are pretty good.

I was thinking about it but i don't really care that much. I'm pretty sure the movie won't be that interesting. at most we'll get a moment where stevens badly injured and it will be all scurry but then the magic of love or some shit will save him. and even that's a stretch.

it's just too predictable and shit for me. there's not really any actual weight to it.
