Wow that pic truly is awful OP. To provide an example of a good redesign, I always liked this fanart pic of Mysterio where with a skull on his bowl. Not exactly a big redesign I know, but I still think he'd look a million times cooler if he had a holographic skull on his face nistead of just an empty bowl with mist or whatever. I wish we could get a canonical Mysterio with such a thing.

The longer I look at these, the less I like them. They're a good example of bad designs drawn well. A lot of the problem is in the largely superfluous and inconsistent coverage. Why does Black Knight have no sleeves? Tigra's mesh parts on the legs are only on this one part of her thighs? What's up with Jen's shoulders. Also her sneakers look retarded.
