Tv verse Green Arrow was basically worthless against anyone above his power class. He's probably the best human combantant and stomps most others but he's useless against anything above human level.
In the first crossover he beat up his own brainwashed team well enough, but he and Diggle were complete dead weight against the actual alien invaders as they laughed off his arrows and he needed rescue from the superpowered characters more than once.
In the second crossover he matched and eventually killed his own evil Doppleganger as well as countless Nazi's but he was no help against Metallo and while he managed to surprise evil Supergirl with a Kryptonite arrow once, she easily dodged and countered on their second fight and dropped him in one hit on their third. And in EoIE he's likely going to die.
Clint meanwhile actually did take out plenty of Chitari, Ultron drones and Thanos army and even got the better of Loki at once point. He definitely has better track record of hitting above his weight class than Oliver does.
