Goku and Beerus almost destroyed the universe with their fists in the battle of gods saga and Goku has only gotten stronger and piled multiple transformations on top of that. He's comparable to angels in MUI.

Dragon Ball characters get "stronger" while getting nerfed. Every time someone gets stronger they can "destroy the world" by powering up or "destroy the universe" by fighting each other. And yet we've never seen these things displayed. The most we've seen was Gogeta and Broly breaking dimensions while fighting but lo and behold Earth was still intact. Blew up most of the Arctic too and things were fine elsewhere on the planet. So basically it's all telling and not really showing.

It's lazy storytelling. It's why better manga, anime, and comics don't do it. You want to say your characters are THIS STRONG? Then prove it. For the longest time even Toriyama couldn't answer if Goku could breathe in space. When asked about the fight with Beerus in space he was like "I don't know, maybe?" Thank god Toyo confirmed it even though it was always the case that Goku couldn't breathe in space but as always Super apologists made shit up to cover for their favorite series.

BoG was retconned almost completely. Fucking SS2 Vegeta was able to hurt Beerus. Using feats from RoF onwards would be more accurate.
