It's better than issue 19

I don't know much about Sonic but I just have to comment on what a terrible excuse for a comic book cover that is. That looks like something somebody drew in 3 minutes.

same art team as the previous issue (Jack Lawrence on lineart, Bracardi Curry on colors)

I think the cover might've been metaphorically last minute, as the original solicits listed a different artist doing it instead (plus it was probably made before yardley took a leave from the book because of personal life issues causing him to have problems with deadlines)

Heh...I hope they don't redesign Omega.

oh boy more big red man

next week is Tangle & Whisper 2
2 weeks later (it's no longer coming out on 9/11) is issue 21
2 weeks after that is T&W 3
3 weeks after that is issue 22
a week after that is T&W 4
4 weeks after that is issue 23

I don't like the deadly six but that's a decent way to introduce them back into the story.

and to recap the art teams on the upcoming issues:
Tangle & Whisper mini is Evan Stanley all the way through, though looks like they're not gonna be consistent with colorists because issue 2 has Leonardo Ito on colors instead of Herms

issue 21's gonna be half Lamar Wells (with Reggie Graham inks) and half Jennifer Hernandez

issue 22's gonna have a new(-ish, she's done colors and inks before on the annual and issue 16 and some covers) artist who never worked on Archie Sonic: Priscilla Tramontano (yet another IDW Transformers artist like Lawrence)

issue 23's gonna have Jack Lawrence again

Weird how the future didn't have any Zombots. Maybe they eventually just melt away or something? Horrifying to think about.

And so this is where Starline starts turning into Not!Snively.

My guess is the machine that sucks up the life energy from lost world is brought back.
That why they explain why there's no people and everything's metal since the deadly six are obviously going to backstab Starline.

I'm digging this, hopefully they dot he Deadly Six right, I feel we haven't gotten a good iteration of them yet. I firmly believe that any character can become a good one of the environment and writer are strong enough.

I hope he doesn't go full-blown Starscream just yet. Starline is too unique a character right now to throw it away for another Snively.

Dogscape. Once everyone is machines they start merging with the land itself.

Omega is precious. You know he is going to put him on a Tpup body.

>recycling his own jokes

>artist who never worked on Archie Sonic

She has never known the whip! Her eyes bear no look of the resentment of being oppressed!

Attached: Gwent_cardart_monsters_wild_hunt_navigator.jpg (240x240, 13K)

From the moment he was introduced, it was all a matter of when Starline would get disillusioned with his idol.

Eggman has never had a good track record with anything smarter than a Badnik.

Kind of, it sounds like he wants to improve on Eggman's plan where Snively or starscream would have used this to turn on Eggman/MegatronEggtron? MegaEgg?

Okay, so maybe Starline is a dude. I can't grasp it. You can't tell me he is not a poof though.

Yeah, but there's a long way between disappointment and back-stabbing.
What makes Starline so unique is that he doesn't hate, fear or blindly admire Eggman, and Eggman even treats him respectfully, relatively speaking.
I don't want that to go away after not even one full story arc together.

Huh, I always figured Omega's CPU or whatever was in his torso, with his head mostly just being cameras.

Not the Deadly Six again. It's a cool idea bringing back characters from previous games, but Sega's been pushing Zavok WAY too hard lately.

Hey, its Jinglebell or whatever!

Attached: 20190828_125442.jpg (357x522, 161K)

The cracks started showing an issue or two ago when Orbot told him the pathetic and repetitive reality of all Eggman plans.

Killer machine Omega is great, but I miss the old Archie Omega. The one that had Gamma's conscience.

Attached: 45c.jpg (788x673, 444K)

>Eggman has never had a good track record with anything smarter than a Badnik.

Badnik is a highbar! Some of them can move forward or backward!

Attached: Cubot.png (1355x1505, 924K)

I think they are exactly the same, personally.

Orbot is snarky and Cubot is incompetent. Not much better, really.

Nah, Archie Omega was more of a softie. He couldn't bring himself to destroy Mecha Sally or the brainwashed GUN agents. He would have hesitated once he'd learned the Zombots were real people.
Flynn started writing him differently after Archie's reboot. Omega is a lot more ruthless now.

>Thats the genius of the no plan plan! I come up with a plan and it will inheriently be designed with a flaw that Sonic can use to defeat me.
>This Eggbola project has no plan! I just dump gallons of this stuff and walk away. I don't know how to cure it or control it so Sonic now can't steal that and use it against me. Hell, I may have put myself in inevitable danger by not doing it. The point is that I don't know how to stop it so it means they have to do my work for me!
>That's the magic of the no plan plan!

Attached: 15-lmoe-02.w700.h700.jpg (700x700, 70K)

This and he even had a silly side like how he flirted with Blaze or his interaction with other robots and characters.

Attached: Hedge17f.jpg (630x416, 151K)

When did he flirt with Blaze?

god i fucking hate ian's forced quotes

this "fighting" sucks so boring

In one of the Sonic Universe issues he was so impressed by her pyro abilities he was smitten.

Attached: tumblr_m5qllijme91qdtw9eo2_1280.jpg (652x437, 118K)

>"Pursue aquatic life."

Sega will never make him this fun and I fear IDW could but after their shit with Archie they may be keeping him from being more entertaining.

Attached: tumblr_mrfopdORgD1qdtw9eo1_500.png.jpg (393x601, 158K)

I can't wait for the day IDW finally collapses in on itself.

Attached: 1566149698665.jpg (377x249, 23K)

Attached: fb2.jpg (1248x1920, 606K)

This Omega feels like a character from a newspaper comic that actually managed to reach a wide audience

i'm really fucking sick of the deadly six, especially zavok. they're just not interesting whatsoever, i don't know why sega keeps trying to push them when it's clear next to no one cares about them. i doubt ian can do anything good with them either, especially at this rate

Deadly Six? More like Deadly Shit

Attached: mung.png (640x699, 323K)

I honestly don't see why they keep pushing them only who got any real attention was Zena and that was mainly because of porn.

Big and Blaze are cute.

Attached: dh1bdo-26ee08e5-f624-4ed4-b2c4-0a47fbe653c0.jpg (586x746, 153K)

Actually, some of Ian's Omega actually leaked into TSR. Plus, SEGA Omega is still fine, he was alright in Shadow and even if his voice was fucked he was the best character in 06's story.

I am all for darker themes in Sonic, but I can't stand this arc's obsession with making things as bleak as possible.

Sonic and friends, going on fun adventures. Stopping Eggman's wacky schemes for world domination. Four issue arcs. Beautiful locations. Fun dialogue.
Why is that so goddamn hard?

Because they're SEGA SONIC TEAM creations. No different from how they still use and push Big the Retarded Cat. Another shitty character. If they're Sonic Team game characters they get perks in their exposure. It's that simple. And yes it also sucks a lot to contend with garbage characters because the parent company made them.

ian is a hack

Big is great.

Cease! Blaze was built for human men.

Yeah, we know, Webber.

Nope.

Attached: d2bpjjj-80ac76ee-dd94-4618-856e-5ee3df0df004.jpg (950x610, 399K)

Because it takes less work to plan out a short story and stretch it out.

No. Don't pretend. He's just retarded. He's garbage Sega pushes simply because of Sonic Team.

To be fair, the SEGA characters are better than 80% of the preboot (and a lot of the cartoons') OCs, and plus, the games are what Sonic's known for, so it would be obvious that they would get the spotlight. I'd rather have a comic adapting Zazz's story arc from Runners than have furry drama like most of the preboot.

Gross. Blaze is possibly Big's actual Sol Dimensional counterpart.

>Both purple cats.
>Names start with a B.
>Same eye-color.
>One's socially retarded, while the other is outright retarded.

It is selfcest.

She's too ffffffffffffffffffflat for human men

>It is selfcest.
Hot

Because no one wants to use Erazor and Sonic doesn't have many official villains.

Attached: latest[1].jpg (371x522, 26K)

>Blaze was built for Omega
FTFY

Or was Omega built for Blaze?

No, FOR men. Human Male/Anthro Female is good. You must submit to best dynamic.

Omega was built for Shadow. Literally, Eggman built Omega to contain Shadow.

F

A dumb hick character that gives no fucks about Eggman or any of the world ending shit that is constantly happening in the universe is hilarious. The only thing he cares about is his pet frog, he’s so pure.

Based post.

Attached: fd0e3adc78d92a99b2135f6ddb9395c2.jpg (407x700, 112K)

You guys need to stop sexualizing Blaze. You're normalizing xenophilia and corrupting an entire generation of Sonic fans.

Attached: c7cc3dffeedb952b8a249e7c2a6bd6fd.jpg (2645x2500, 3.17M)

Blaze man lmao

I love Omega.

Omega da best

So, this whole story was the plan if the Archie comic kept going.

>that part in 06 where his section of Wave Ocean ends with Mephiles trapping him and then cutting to Shadow off to "rescue" him
>when he gets there Omega is beating the shit out of Mephiles without any effort

Do NOT fuck the cat

but the cat is cuddly and cute and very big

Yes, Ian confirmed in his podcast he was sitting on the idea of a metal virus since before Archie's reboot.
He was finally going to use it as the big plot for issue 300, which is probably what pic related was hinting at.

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 223K)

This guy draws such a huggable Cream.

And he just unloads on his ass even after he taunts him.

this zombie shit's still going? jesus

then he should draw Vanilla too

Did he draw 18? Think thats the only one she's been in.

my thoughts too

I wish Sally was here. She should be the one taking charge and giving orders. I fucking hate Amy. Always has, always will. She shouldn’t be in a leadership position like this.

I've been behind on the comic since after the virus first started being a thing. I think that's issue 14 or 15? Am I missing anything or is this just still mediocre?

That’s why Archie had to create so many new villains. But apparently we’re not allowed to have fun anymore.

Attached: C72C4063-BA91-4AA1-998F-B2C56E17ECED.jpg (2498x1156, 452K)

Still mediocre, and you're not really missing anything here.

Since we're posting children, what does Yea Forums think of this stupid kid

Fuck off, diaperfag

Why isn't Sonic a zombot yet?

He runs off the infection before it can kick in

They're saving it for the big #25 issue

The cult surrounding Ian Flynn is one of the weirdest things in this fanbase.

>Starline gets the Deadly Six.
If only he read a little more of that report, then he'd realize what a horrible idea that is.
In any case, it's neat that we're seeing how this is affecting the characters. Sonic just looks so tired or stressed in this issue.
Witchcart was also sent to the Lost Hex to find another conch, if I recall.
It's a status quo essentially. That's a thing about Ian's more recent stories (Iron Domain, Mecha-Sally, Shattered World Crisis, even the first arc of the IDW comic was pretty lengthy).

Its hard to stop! Her cut features and reserved personality urge to make her lewd!

>Gemerl is finally back
>his personality is just "robot", absolutely none of his development from Battle/Sonic Advance 3 carried over aside from living with Cream and Vanilla.
>the whole point of his development from Battle is that he was more than just a robot, but a living entity that can learn and process information from those he lived around with
What the fuck was the point. He's absolutely flaccid and boring. And they still haven't address whether he retained any of his memories from Battle at all when he was rebuilt.

>Zombots have next to no thinking capacity.
>Zombots infect through physical contact.
>Zombot infection spreads slower the more generations you get from the first generation infection.
>zombots cannot be killed due to rapid regeneration.

>Zombots can't infect someone through secondary contact.
>Zombots do not gain additional strength or ability but if the victim has abnormal ability that will carry over.
>The virus can be reverted through super speed but not cured.

Despite the kiddie gloves in handling the subject this arc is pretty consistent for a zombie invasion story. It establishes rules and it stays with them. In horror, its actually an important part to establish the rules of the monster.

Attached: 1174487503-00.jpg (400x300, 30K)

I thought SA3 Gemerl was a different Gemerl than the Gemerl in Sonic Battle.

The hatedom around Ian is slightly creepier.

You can tell he enjoyed drawing her.

His Go Fast rolls the virus back. The problem is that he now must always go fast. Without being able to rest or sleep he is actually encountering actual fatigue, although that could be attributed to the infection.

Sonic is legally not allowed to lose.

He's allowed to suffer setbacks as long as he wins eventually. Somehow this has morphed into "Sonic can't lose FUCKING SEGA MANDATES" in the fanbase to excuse Ian's shitty writing.

He is able to sleep though. Shouldn't his infection be so bad he can't be able to sleep.

Why does him raising his eyes up slightly make him more pissed?

Can it wait until after TMNT has a satifying conclusion?

I mean he ain't wrong. But that's because Sega is shit. So it's a really low bar.

I love how even though he doesn't change at all, you can tell he's super pissed off right now

Huggable, yes that's the word.

Who would be in the place of the Deadly Six? Wendy and the other Eggbosses?

How about Boom Amy?

I hope Tail's stick his head on something utterly ridiculous like a Crabmeat.

Most likely and maybe since they already had augmentations through Eggman they might end up being immune to the disease.

>Do you enjoy killing Son Goku?

The twists keep coming.

Starline would need to see if the Deadly Six could even be infected by the Metal Virus if they got into contact with it.

Get fucked.

Her name is Lanolin

I'm genuinely curious about Omega. I'm surprised SEGA would okay such a drastic change for one of their characters. Either tails recreates Omega's body exactly as it was or SEGA had plans to redesign him anyway and gave IDW permission to integrate that in their own unique way.

I Should not like this ship but it's cute

Attached: 1405550866822.png (778x530, 237K)

Most likely they get to redesign him for comedic value on the very strict condition that Omega is back to his normal body by the end of the storyline.

Actually judging by some notes Ian's posted to twitter, the deadly six would've straight up been in the Archie version of the arc as well

Comic books are on their way out and NO please bro do NOT say:

"That's not true! Manga are Japanese comics and they're still thriving."

Yes true but do you know the basics of how Japanese Comics are made? Mangakas and their teams are worked notably hard. So if you don't have a drive and powerful work ethic you won't last in the Japanese comic industry (not unless you're like Togashi who is a big scammer who is milking his HxH deal to release chapters as slowly as possible, that ancient deal he made is not common giving him a lot of flexibility and freedom to do whatever he wants at his own pace). Also they're cheap as well via lacking things like color and shading (well some mangakas do include shading like One Piece, but famous examples like Naruto definitively don't bother with the shading detail which is extra effort). In the end Japanese Comics are extremely demanding for the employees who make them, Westerners are just spoiled brats who don't give a damn about work (especially those who just go into comics to use pre-existent properties to write their bad ideas or worse just spread their agendas using recognizable characters who people like).

That aside the comic book industry is doing very bad. It's expensive and the quality is poor. And even when it was good? The bottom line is people do NOT like to read comics. People prefer largely to watch series or movies instead. It's more accessible and not as confusing as comics which is full of retcons.

It's a good thing that comics are dying. Certain properties will always be much more enjoyable in other mediums. And Sonic is one of them.

Actually calls it little naps, so he gets maybe 10 to 30 minutes. That's not actually sleep.

They probably aren't paying that much attention. It'll probably be like Gamma's body but yellow.

I feel is gonna be less of a bac-stab and more of a "I'm sick of this" situation.

>Dr. Starline will try to "improve" Eggman's plan with the Deadly Six
>Thigns will go bad as the Six take over
>Eggman is gonna go full angry on Starline like he did previously when he tried to blow Sonic up with no fanfare.
>That's the moment where Starline will argue he was just trying to fix the gaping holes Eggman left in his plans, which will prompt the doc to cut the friendship for good.

Shouldn't the virus cover him by that point?

SEGA probably calls them on the telly every day like

>Hello?
>Put the Deadly Six in the comic
>For the last fucking time; stop calling us!
>Then put the Deadly Six in the comic
>But we hate them! Everyone hates them! Why do you want to put them in everything?! Argh!
>That's a very Zavok thing to say

I knew Omega would job and I’m still pissed about this

Yeah, probably. So he gets to like, close his eyes for a minute then has to run again.

>SEGA probably calls them on the telly every day like

Flynn confirmed Malkavian.

Attached: hqdefault[1].jpg (480x360, 14K)

It's because Penders and Bollers treated Sonic like a punching bag when they were running the comic. He lost a bunch of times, even when he came back to earth he got shit on by half the main cast. So once Ian took over, the pendulum just swung back the other way.

Miss me yet?

Attached: Iron Queen.png (695x965, 1.81M)

The plot actually picked up speed.

It's now "Glacial", as apposed to "non-existent."

>They're bringing the Deadly Six back
Fucking yawn. Never liked those walking stereotypes.
Hopefully Ian can give them just a bit more character though. I'm gonna be so glad when this metal zombie saga fucking ends. At least there's the T&W mini series to read as well.

True. Why were Amy and Knuckles of all characters chosen to be the ones handling the military stuff is beyond me, since they have never cared about taking militarism roles before (especially with someone like Knuckles). They are acting OoC here definitely.

Though, while this, I think it was for the better of Freedom Fighters not being used in Forces. I mean, imagine them, now written by Pontac and Graff. Imagine how bastardized, one-dimensional, and practically boring and too self-aware they would probably unfortunately act while tarnishing and ruining further the untapped potential they contain.

As if the said characters written by Ian wasn't mediocre enough, now there's this to consider. Nobody would love to see FFs written by Pontac and Graff. At least, not me.

Attached: really makes my diamonds to shine.png (155x203, 66K)

She's never gonna be a part of the main cast anymore, get over it.

'Course he's a poof- it's IDW! That said, it's a pretty daring move to acknowledge the fact that all gays are evil.

IT'S NO USE

>Cream

I want to hug this rabbit.

Attached: rage.png (367x376, 212K)

I mean, they were never considered to be in the game anyway so there's no worry here.

I do agree though, Amy and Knuckles aren't the type of characters I would see in leadership like this. Knuckles would definitely be the muscle in a troop while Amy would be either the other muscle or maybe moral support/secretary for the leader.

The commander(s) probably should have been someone(s) like Team Chaotix or Rouge (maybe that's pushing it, idk). Someone who can work behind the scenes.

More like the Deadly SHIT.

Remember when she looked more ambiguous in whether she was human or a Mobian badger?

IDW was right in that they pulled the bandage off quickly and were done with it regarding the SatAM/Archie OCs. Just get rid of them and their baggage, all at once, gone forever, no going back, DONE.

The autistic Sonic community responded with their sobbing and screeching, but like a spoiled child told they can't have their way, eventually they lose the energy to tantrum and accept that they've lost. The SatAM cast is gone, they aren't coming back, the franchise is moving on without the SatAM/Archie fanbase and they can either come along or stay behind.

And the truth is, Sonic as a franchise has a mostly bad reputation BECAUSE of the hyper autistic Archie/SatAM fanbase; the DeviantArt MS Paint Coldsteel the Hedgehog types. The Christian Chandler types. With them associated with Sonic, no potential new fans will EVER want anything to do with the brand; they've rendered it toxic to the point where if anyone sees you reading a Sonic comic or playing a Sonic game, the assumption is that you're low-functioning autistic "because all Sonic fans are autistic, right?"

IDW did the right thing. Let the autistic furries go. The franchise will flourish without them. This isn't a Star Wars the Lest Jedi thing or a Ghostbusters 2016 thing. This isn't about some SJW or whatever ideology. This is about cutting a cancerous growth from a franchise before it kills it. And that's the Archie/SatAM autists. The Christian Chandlers. They need to go. Get rid of them.

boards.fireden.net/co/search/text/IDW was right in that they pulled the bandage off quickly/

This is becoming a copypasta, so reminder to never reply to this.

I have only read the first few issues, has it finally gotten good yet?

Attached: 4e0ysxg3zsg31.png (1348x1080, 1.3M)

Nope.

Just avoid. It's doomed to be a slog, dilated tedious version of Archie Sonic forever. Just avoid.

Attached: tumblr_inline_p48ane5T4A1seto0f_1280.gif (640x480, 1.19M)

I remember when she looked 100% like a human wearing evil geisha makeup and not something close to any other Mobian at all.

Attached: RCO005.jpg (700x1059, 265K)

Its fine. Steadily getting better.

It's just kinda mediocre. Not enough story happens issue to issue. Really slow paced.
Though saying that I'll still read the issues as they come out.

>And the truth is, Sonic as a franchise has a mostly bad reputation BECAUSE of the hyper autistic Archie/SatAM fanbase; the DeviantArt MS Paint Coldsteel the Hedgehog types. Star Trek had that problem until the JJ Abrams movies made it cool for mainstream moviegoers to be into it.

Thanks

The first movie seems to be the only successful one, with Into Darknees being critically panned and Beyond not making its returns at the box office, and the less said about Discovery the better

No

Why doesn't the virus cover him when he is standing around the base?

It also had to directly tie to the TV show via alternate universe and Leonard Nimoy to get that success.

You aren't supposed to notice things like that.

Because Ian is a hack writer.

I imagine that's how the average user feels like without access to Yea Forums.

It is.

Darker shades. The lighter ones they're trying to push don't pop as well.

A little disappointed over how fast both Shadow and Omega jobbed.

Narrative purposes I suppose. Bit hacky.

I'm sure Ian would say that his infection wasn't spreading as fast as before because he wasn't in constant contact with zombots.

I thought it was worse, but you do you.

So instead of taking IDW as a fresh start, or even the reboot as a fresh start, we got years of world building and a year long filler arc just to go back to the exact same story they were telling in 2012.

Man, fuck Ian.

Amy pretending to be an intelligent leader is a horrible ideas and blatantly out of character. She's not leader material.

At the risk of pissing off waifu faggots, female characters being leaders are just garbage. Pure lies and propaganda so yeah Sally is also shit.

Truth be told NO Sonic character is smart enough to lead. This franchise doesn't require that type of character.

>At the risk of pissing off waifu faggots, female characters being leaders are just garbage. Pure lies and propaganda
Wanna know how I know you've never worked a job that requires actual leadership skills?

Quit spamming Yea Forums with this Sonic shit already. We got this thread over here we don't need this extra one. MODS.

this thread came first tho

This thread was here first, so fuck off!

Sorry your thread isn't as popular as this one but you shouldn't be mean about it.

Isn't this what you Archiefags wanted? Risks and stakes?

I wasn't an archiefag

Well, he's not wrong.

Well talk to them. They cried about the comic not being sustainable unless there were twists and turns and stakes and they got what they wanted. Now they're deflecting on the game characters being used outside of a few panels where they smash shit around. I like that Amy and Knuckles are taking the lead. Knuckles isn't a fucking retard and knows when things are going to hell. The faggots in this same thread think that Boom is the definitive take on those characters.

Free men bow to no crown!

>thirstiest thing alive
>Super secretary with a boss kn permanent vacation.
Pick one.

She's not really an intelligent leader, she is just bossy and good at coordinating. Sally is a worse leader though. All her plans depend on someone with superpowers saving the day.

How is that a bad thing? Keeps Sonic active and the most useful asset of the group.

Archiefags grasping at straws like always.

>with making things as bleak as possible.

Charmy got taken out by a horde of zombies so there is some high points.

More Doctors when?

because if there's one thing sonic is known for, it's being told what to do

Yes? I mean, Sonic always has someone telling him what to do in the games.

>Tails
>Sally
>Nicole
>Rotor
>Uncle Chuck
>Amy
> also Tails
>Porker
>Ebony
>Dr. Kintobor
>Tails again
>some rando citizen
>Dat Crazy Doctor from AoSTH
>Eggman
> Tails part 3
> Amy again
> Tails The Return
> Tikal
> Omochao(?)
> Eggman again
> Elise
> Tails 06
> Prof. Pickle
> Eggman Drei
> Amy AGAIN and for good
> MUTHER FUCKING TAILS

The line about people who give Sonic directions and useless information to get the plot going starts with Tails and goes UP, N DOWN, AND ALL AROUND the block...twice.

Dunno user, sounds like you're the one grapsing at reasons to shitfling.

I joined Yea Forums for the ride, laughed at the penders stuff and then got invested in Ian's reboot for a while. How does this compare to the best bits of the Archie series? Is it still finding its footing?

Nah it's fine, who needs new ideas?

No one in his own sane mind would ask for its favorite eternal comic to be all suddenly cancelled abruptly, forcibly hard-rebooted to the point everything is terminally removed, and then be given instead a much worse version in which nobody has ever asked for it.

Are you fucking stupid? Even if the other thread came first, which it didn't, this one is a storytime you idiot

Sonic literally said he can take naps for a few minutes at a time, standing at base isn't different as long as he goes to speed of the virus intermittently

No

Not like Sonic's been doing anything new since Colors anyway.

He can take naps without completely turning. It doesn't change that he has the virus on his body at all times and can't touch anyone. They already established it spreads over anything it touches, but can't convert metal. If nothing else he's going to leave virus residue around inside the base.

It's a massive plothole.

God no. We're already constantly having them force-fed in the games, now we're getting them in the comics too?

>It doesn't change that he has the virus on his body at all times and can't touch anyone.
Characters point out the risk here, Sonic recognizes it, but given the fact he's their best chance of avoiding annihilation they take the risks

>If nothing else he's going to leave virus residue around inside the base.
I think the virus can only spread through organic tissue. Omega was all over the zombots and he's not contagious.
Plus, virus residue probably isn't a problem. It was established early on that only massive, repeated exposure can cause the infection to spread.

>It was established early on that only massive, repeated exposure can cause the infection to spread.
And contradicted by panels of things touching trees and grass and it immediately spreading.

Grass and trees are live and can contract the virus so obviously rubbing your hands and feet and face on them will give you the virus. Metal bars and handles are not.

Touching a tree trunk isn't massive, repeated exposure. Point is the rules are whatever makes the current plot convenient.

Sure retard

>The virus recedes when Sonic runs fast because reasons.
>It can deform living creatures without harm when used for a shocking reveal, but otherwise everyone stays completely solid and never gets stretched or squashed or torn even when it makes sense, not even the faceless mooks.
>Virus only spreads with massive, repeated exposure, except sometimes it only takes a quick tap.
>Virus only carries on living organisms, except sometimes it's drawn crawling up nonliving structures like wooden fences and it transforms cloth like gloves, shoes and bowties (doesn't just cover them, they also change shape).
>Shown to sit around inactive on things like dirt and pavement, but not on metal surfaces or rocks because ???

>"It just does whatever the plot needs it to."
>"Sure, retard."
I'm not sure how you could even pretend that's not the case.

You won't have to wait long. They have so many financial issues and internal strife right now it's crazy.

>touching trees and grass and it immediately spreading.
I think it's because the people touching things are fully zombots.
The virus ordinarily doesn't spread very fast or far, but if the source is a fully transformed zombot, the infection is nearly instantaneous.
At least, that's how it looked like in Eggman's experiment with the squirrel.

That just sounds like a contrivance to keep Sonic infected without asking "How does he not also spread the virus?"

Over/under on how long IDW Sonic will last? 50 issues?

CREAM!

Until IDW dies, whenever that may be.

so issue 30 then

You "IDW is totally going to die" guys are starting to sound like Ladderbro and his "DC is doomed" posts.

DC isn't going anywhere. It may shift around and put focus elsewhere, but the idea of them going bye-bye is dumb as hell. IDW on the other hand doesn't have the support system to deal with their terrible contract dealings.

More like 100.
They exaggerate, but IDW is doing poorly and treats its talent like shit.

Thanks, OP.

>Urge to maim- rising

Attached: urge_to_kill_rising.jpg (1024x768, 89K)

I know, and it'll happen when it happens, but we don't need people going into every IDW related thread and posting
>BOY I CAN'T WAIT TILL IDW DIES I BET THEY'LL BE SHUTTING DOWN BY NEXT WEEK
It's fucking obnoxious.

There's pretty much no chance Sonic will be on its feet by then, though. Ian's making the same mistake a third time and nobody will stop him.

Putting his CPU in his torso would leave less room for weapons and ammo, silly.

He'll turn (inside the compound) midway through the cure's creation after passing out from exhaustion, and it will turn into everyone trying to keep him from Tails/whoever is making the cure.

Too exciting for this arc.

Yeah, yeah. I pretty much walked into this one, huh?

I LOVED the shade of blue used for the OKKO episode. Apparently out of all the things SEGA is anal about, Sonic’s shade of blue isn’t one of them.

Need some new villains. Something unSonic like characters that came out of SMT/Persona or Valkyria.

You sort of got that with the Storybook games.

No we need entities that emerged right out of a seinen manga.
