Plastic Man: >Stretchs his body in a molecular level, so he can take any form he wants, even giant forms or sharp forms >Resists fire, but too much heat can melt him down >Stretchs inside a person's body through any orifice, being able to cause death by organs damage or asphixia >Resists phisic damage due to his gum body in an extreme level >Immortal, somehow >Regenerates from dismemberment, but this could cause psicological traumas >Had enough will power to regenerate himself from deintegration, but it took him hundreds of years and he needed help from the Justice League to gather the particles of his body
Luffy: >Resists phisic attacks with Armament Haki, even sharp attacks >Feels the enemy's precense and movements with Observation Haki. And now he can slightly predict future >Moves extremely fast with Gear Second >Grows his limbs with Gear Third >Moves even faster with Gear Fourth, and becomes strong enough to break an entire city in two with one hit >With Red Hawk, he can make a fire hot enough to burn under water >Water is his weakness, if he is submerged in a big amount of water he loses >Turns an elemental body into a normal human body hitting with Armament Haki, but it is not known if it would work with Plas >Literally instant knocks out the enemy with Emperor Haki, if the enemy's will power is weaker >Survived to being crushed and locked inside a box smaller than an apple, without using Armament Haki
Ok am I forgetting some ability?
So who would win in a fight? Not necessary to be a death fight because it wouldn't make sense since Plas is immortal
>Survived to being crushed and locked inside a box smaller than an apple, without using Armament Haki was this in one of the movies? Because i don't remember this ever happening in the series
Angel Barnes
Moria fight
Daniel Fisher
I honestly don't see either winning convincingly
Plas can't touch Luffy, and I don't think Luffy can do enough damage to keep Plas down.
Jackson Robinson
Argument remains the same.
Does haki work on plasticman? If yes then Luffy can most likely beat him into submission.
However Luffy is not going to be able to straight up kill him regardless
Levi Davis
hm, was this "smaller than an apple" in the anime? Because i just checked the manga, and the box didn't appear to become smaller than average human size
Easton Young
Luffy also has a resistance to poison
Joseph Martinez
Haki was a mistake
Dylan Young
It actually was. The mere existence of Haki (at least Armor Haki) is very contradictory with the whole plot.
Josiah Miller
It beats the rock-paper-scissors of element based powers that the series would have become
How does haki contradict anything?
Nathaniel Long
Ok, i need a template chart with that Death Battle Vs. shit... You never gonna see that coming
Christian Myers
For how well planned out a lot of the stuff in One Piece is I feel like Haki was poorly thought out. Characters like Ace never bothering to use armor haki even though there is no way in hell he could reach the level he did in the pirate world without it shows how it wasn't properly thought out. It also increases the power difference between the monster trio and everybody else since I'm pretty sure the only one besides them with haki at all is Usopp.
Anthony Davis
It got crushed by being stomped on, and by the size of an apple i can only guess he means the box was flattened to the height of an apple. Which is a really poor way to describe that. And it's still not very accurate. Maybe more like 4 big apples stacked on top of each other
>How does haki contradict anything? Not exactly a contradiction but there is a big plot hole Emperor Haki had an "overshadowing" in the first chapter, when Shanks saves Luffy Observation Haki was brilliantly introduced by Enel. Armor Haki, the most common type of Haki, was introduced during Amazon Lily arc. Now, during the war arc, nobody used Armor Haki despite the arc being filled with some of the most powerful characters in the series. What the hell happened there? They forgot how to use it? And this is so fucking bullshit (spoiler): The explanation of how Akainu killed Ace was really, really stupid, when he could have killed him by using Armor Haki. After the timeskip, every damn character learned how to use AH. And now suddendly it turns your body black.
Julian Jenkins
WTF is going on there?
James Flores
Plastic Man is smart enough to exploit the water weakness of Luffy. Unlike most villains in One Piece. Eel would probably make a "Wicked Witch of the West" or "Signs" reference as he drowns the poor Straw Hat boy.
Michael Carter
Armament Haki was foreshadowed by silvers fighting Kizaru. The explanation you were complaining about is explained better by haki.
Thomas Ross
Sounds like Haki is broken enough to defeat plasticman
Joseph Thompson
Depends if haki works on him, and whether plastic man can just outpunch the armor.
Gavin Baker
Could go either way but I'm giving the intelligence advantage to Plas, and therefore the fight.
Connor Foster
Ive told you once Ive told you a million times.
Unless luffy finds a way to make plas brain dead forever or freeze him forever or spread his molecules across the globe he's going to loose on attrition. Thanks to the DC power creep what was once a man with relatively decent stretch powers is now neigh unkillable and and fairly unstoppable. Plas isn't going to be able to punch him or hell even goop him to death but best case scenario is luffy knocking him out and spreading his body around the globe.
Jonathan Watson
Kings Haki can take Plas out if it comes to it. Law can even kill Plas since he can get to his heart almost no problem
Xavier Thompson
We've already had this thread. Plas wins. Haki won't have the intended effect on Plas.
Lucas Brown
Can Luffy turn into a bicycle?
Camden Carter
Aren’t his organs also extremely stretchy? I know Martian Manhunter can’t read his mind because of his brain.
Luke Barnes
>Plastic Man >Heart
Parker Bailey
Plas was being put back together after being shattered and thrown into the sea for 3000 years. He's freaking out as he regains consciousness.
Brayden Taylor
>Haki won't have the intended effect on Plas. You know that how?
Charles Garcia
>Moria isn't going to participate in the final fight against Kaidou because he's way too far away (Blackbeard Island!) to do so
God damn it. He was my favorite Warlord next to Doflamingo.
Crocodile is easily the worst warlord. Moria is one of the honorable few that Luffy had to beat by sheer luck and plot armor.
Austin Ward
>Survived to being crushed and locked inside a box smaller than an apple, without using Armament Haki Oh shit I fucked it up. I forgot Moria turned into a giant in that chapter. I remember the Black Box being smaller than Moria's feet, so I confused the size of the box. Well the chapter 374 came out like 10 years ago Anyway, Luffy survived to being crushed inside an average size box
Christian Hughes
Fag
Jayden Torres
Blame Logia for being broken. Only Sea Stone weaponry would have been possible to damage them otherwise unless they all had weird weaknesses like Crocodile's aversion to water or Eneru's inability to electrocute Luffy due to his rubber body. Even somebody weak like Monet would be a major threat if you didn't have something that naturally countered or overpowered her snow form. Then you have somebody like Akainu who would be even more unstoppable than he already is.
Dominic Wright
Yeah he wrote himself into a hole with OP logia. I prefer haki to forcing constant gimmick weakness fights though. I hate those.
Nathan Cook
People in the Marineford war were using Armament Haki. Hell, that's why Ben Beckman was able to scare Kizaru with a pistol. There was just no visual cue that the power was in use. Which is probably why post time skip Oda started doing the black body thing; so people like you would have the dots connected for them.
Juan Hughes
Are you saying that an admiral who can use Armament, and probably fullbody armament, is afraid of pirates who can use Armament haki too?
Brandon Scott
I'd say it wouldn't since Plas isn't easily intimidated
Luke Carter
Plastic man is plastic from conception, he doesn't have an original underlying body like DF users do for haki to hit in the first place.
Henry Reyes
There are different Haki levels. For example, we see Law slice Vergo, despite him having a haki armor. Due to his Haki level being higher than his.
>we see Law slice Vergo, despite him having a haki armor. Due to his Haki level being higher than his. You are wrong. Law's ability is a gimmicky Paramecia that has certain control over space. That's why Vergo couldn't stop it with haki. Also, an Admiral is supposed to be stronger than a Vice-admiral in every way (and he wasn't even a marine)
Brayden Kelly
vergo was to cool to go out so fast
Lucas Collins
Couldn't Luffy harm Plastic Man the same way anyone with haki ability harms a Logia fruit user in their element form?
Christian Diaz
He can turn into a UFO.
Lucas Sanders
The problem was inventing the concept of Logia fruit turning people completely into their element/subject/etc. Hard to punch or cut someone who can just turn into fire or water.
Then again they also came up with the idea that all fruits give a superpower over everything including base concepts. Like Luffy can stratch anything including stupid shit like beliefs, understanding, gravity's pull etc.
Kuma's ability to push literally anything including the amount of harm someone has taken was just ridiculously stupid levels of overpowered. Before Haki was ever added to the story.
>How does haki contradict anything? It mostly just turned the show into something else. Instead of pirates with suprepowers we went right back to the same old standard shonen "train and get more power" stuff everyone else does. Now devilfruit powers do not mean as much when one can just train dragonball style and be more powerful than everyone else
Jose Myers
>loses all his original crew to Kaido >is so heartbroken and devastated he snaps and decides he'll rather have a zombie army that won't die instead >ends up having to 'kill' his zombies to fight Luffy and still loses >World Government orders a hit on him as he makes them look weak, somehow manages to escape Doflamingo while half dead >Absalom, one of his very few friends left gets killed by Blackbeard's crew, Moria walks right into Blackbeard's trap because he was searching for him >now the Firetank Pirates are planning on stealing Thriller Bark for themselves
Moriah's suffering will only end when he's dead himself at this rate.
Jaxon Smith
Now hes hard at work making paramecia even more broken than that.
Dofflamingo had at least ten different powers from that ability to make strings come from his fingers down to turning the world into string he can control. Forming fulyy functional people out of strong, taking total control over people, and then just cutting things with string. Seems more like the animal fruits that are a huge shaft.
Levi Butler
Not to mention he could walk in midair over the ocean. Awakened Devil Fruit powers are just stupid op from what's been shown and Luffy hasn't even awoken his yet.
Ayden Reed
Plastic man is just on a power level way higher than luffy He's one of the strongest members of the justice league which has fuckers like superman who can punch the universe apart
Jackson Fisher
Not water..Sea Water.
Daniel Price
Why do you even bother, capeshit power level is fucking pant on head retarded fan fiction tier there is no way a manga/ anime character can win against them
There are humans with double length limbs and people who are like 15 feet tall in One Piece. What's your point?
Ian Sanders
No he was swinging from clouds
Brody Long
>Oh so you don't have a soul? Well nos I'm gonna put a soul on you so I can steal it How is that gonna make the fight easier for her? Also, he is still alive despite not having a soul.
Aiden Ortiz
Plas doesn't have a soul? What did I miss?
Connor Evans
The two of then are goofballs and would totally get along and have a week long party
Jose Davis
He may have a soul or he may not, that other user is lying to you. It's never been brought up really... But he does't have an actual mind and he can't be mind controlled.
>Plastic Man has a way of dealing with Speedsters No he doesn't, he had to set up an elaborate trap to even capture the him and that was after the Flash had gotten hit with a sedative that slows his speed down.
On a pure 1v1 fight with a speedter plas gets BTFO stop wanking
Kevin Bell
Yes? Armament Haki makes logia users solid. Getting shot in the face becomes a threat again.
Angel Mitchell
I am sure that at this point he has a way to dealing with stand users.
Dylan James
>Instead of pirates with suprepowers we went right back to the same old standard shonen "train and get more power" stuff everyone else does. It was always the latter though. Devil Fruits are weird powers but what matters is how they're used and develop with training and experimentation rather than just having a good power. Otherwise Foxy would've been an end series boss.
And not to mention half the cast doesn't have a DF power so training is all they've got.
Jason Reed
I haven't watched OP in years. Has Law ever fought Buggy? I've always been curious to how their respective devil fruits would interact.
Eli James
Whatever that has her soul in, gains her will and personality
Cooper Rivera
Fair enough. But pure 1v1 fights with speedsters suck. Gotta throw all logic out the door so that any non-speedster stands a chance. Like the Huntress shouldn't have even been able to hit him with the dart in the first place.
Gabriel Baker
Armament Haki can be easily fought with more Armament Haki. Read the series.
Jaxon Long
No but damn I want this to happen now
Jose Price
Borsalino is a lazy fuck who probably has shitty armament haki and couldn't hold a candle to Ben FUCKING Beckman.
Benjamin Rodriguez
1: Kizaru can move way fucking faster than a bullet 2: Still has no logic. An armor Haki bullet can be blocked with Armor Haki aswell.
Nathan Hughes
Her soul, not any soul.
Dominic Smith
Plastic making bad jokes as he kills an anime protagonist that everyone loves is probably one of the funniest mental images I've had in a while
Josiah Smith
I want this but with Jim Carrey.
Caleb Davis
Doffy was pretty confident that haki could stop Law's powers.
Wont kill him, Plasticman cannot be killed by any conventional methods period
Elijah Myers
since when was haki conventional?
Jayden Rivera
She's fucked, Platicman's toon force has made him essentially an unkillable loony toons god
Jordan Gutierrez
Yikes
Daniel Martin
His heart’s practically play doh. You think attacking it can hurt him?
Caleb Stewart
You are just proving that user is as wrong as Mingo
Mason Young
>His heart’s practically play doh. You think attacking it can hurt him? apply that logic to devil fruit users that morph into an element.
Caleb Lopez
Jesus I don't know I just want to see him fight a Godzilla size monster and go let go all of it against Big Mom. Is it too much to ask for a conventional fight without cheap gimmicks stopping it?
Easton Moore
The other user is right, "the sea" as defined by Oda is any body of still water. You're thinking of seastone, which still takes it's name from that definition.
Carson Hughes
He is not a devil fruit user and he can survive without his heart.
Jackson Thompson
>Armament Haki makes logia users solid No it doesn't, haki bypasses logia immunities to hit the user's original body, haki doesn't everyone into Blackbeard ffs.
Jaxson White
Mom is an island buster so she would just deintegrate her with her stupid hat and her sun
Logan Garcia
*deintegrate him
Brayden Anderson
No you're just proving that you have really bad reading comprehension. Doffy is one of the most experienced pirates in the series. He thinks haki can stop the effects of a devil fruit ability. That's not something he pulled out of his ass. On top of that, Vergo is cladding his entire body in haki specifically to fight Law, because he thinks his haki is strong enough to stop Law's powers. You can believe whatever you want but the fact is the series contradicts you, so you're always gonna be wrong.
Julian Cook
You can't desintegrate Plas for too long.
Eli Garcia
Plas. Maybe it'll be a fight when luffy awakens.
Lincoln Davis
yes you can, plas was literally disintegrated for 3k years and could just barely hold on to his conscious
Adrian Brown
He survived then?
Jace Bennett
I don't know shit about DC comics so I'm probably misreading it, but the OP mentions something about the use of willpower with Plasticman so MAYBE Haki could come into play but it's still up in the air.
Daniel James
>Luffy still has to awaken For fuck sake. How's Wano arc btw?
Landon Perry
Plastic Man morphs into Anything
Luffy: >Wanna join my crew?
Nathan Taylor
Plastic man would just scoop up a bunch of water and submerge luffy. If luffy tried to escape he would form a canopy and when luffy tries to jump out he would get rebounded back in.
Aaron Davis
Haki cuts through the bullshit power shielding and hits Plastic Man where it hurts the most. A good punch and he feels it all over. I doubt theirs anything Luffy can take he hasn't dealt with already by the amount of dangerous people he's faced.
James Adams
>constant gimmick weakness fights though Particulary when the weakness stop mattering mid fight and the end is just who can punch the harder.
Colton Myers
Yes, but isn't 3 thousand years not too long for you?
Christopher Phillips
>there are still people who think Kizuaru was genuinely scared in this scene and not just being his usual sarcastic asshole self
He called lots of the supernovas scary too. Guys clearly being condescending when he calls someone scary. The fact that a few chapters later he ignores Beckman, attacks Luffy anyways and Beckman isn't able to do shit should have told you people what was really happening.
They were using haki in the war, at that point in the series haki was still invisible. Oda didn't decided to make haki have a darkened color until afterwards. Not quite a plot hole, but it was a retcon.
Oliver Lopez
Bretty good. Full of jap names and references, though.
Cooper Martin
Put Reed Richards and Elongated Man in here.
Dominic Walker
>Reed Richards Stretching is more of a side thing, next to him being really smart It's not exceptionally powerful, and without getting to bring a super gun, he would be fucked by both
Robert Cooper
Also Reed can’t become a bicycle
Connor Morgan
Plas is no df user.
Aiden Hughes
putting aside powers luffy is such a retard i can't imagine trickster plas wouldn't figure out a way to go over.
Elijah Bell
regardless if he can survive you can still disintegrate him for a long as fuck time retard
Cameron James
Luffy is smarter than you thini when he fights
Evan Jackson
haki is simply will power. anyone can do it aside from the Kings Roar.
Kevin Gutierrez
it wasnt a retcon, simply put you got to see Haki once Luffy learned it. Since then you didnt see it because luffy couldnt see it.
>"winning" an "argument" on Yea Forums You are living the dream user.
Matthew Roberts
not that hard when you're talking to literal retards
Eli Johnson
Can we go one day without an immigrant Yea Forumsthread? This is even shonen, you can just talk about this on your own shit board.
James Sanders
>still seething over someone shitposting on the internet Get a clue, lose weight, hit the showers.
Gabriel Thomas
I would be surprised if he doesn't show up after the newest chapter showed that a bunch of perfectly preserved samurai corpses are just sitting there in Wano
Joshua Thompson
He got killed by Blackbeard. And so did Absa.
Brandon Miller
>got BTFO so hard he's still resorting to seethe posting
Andrew Bailey
>get BTFO so hard he has to project his frustrations
Ryan Barnes
This
Jaxson Baker
I dont think you know what projection means retard
Samuel Watson
With Big Mom I think but she is island búster I think.
Landon Hughes
That's nowhere near the power that plastic man has though
Carson Carter
can plas really bust the planet if he wanted to?
Luke Wilson
>still projecting
Noah Kelly
>still retarded
Blake Robinson
Exactly, that's why he curbstomps Luffy in battle. Al this haki shit is just an excuse for optards to cope.
Chase Taylor
Only Absalom was confirmed. Blackbeard is really cunning and I could easily see him recruiting Moria to use as a weapon against Kaido. Don't count him out just yet.
Mason Clark
>failling for shitty bait God lord you are not better than him.
Jeremiah Walker
I'd assume so Martian Manhunter is way above planet buster, and Plastic man and his fight was pretty even for the most part At the very least he is able to beat people who can
Lucas Hill
>samefagging based retard
Asher Flores
>Crocodile is easily the worst warlord You fuck off this instant. Crocodile is a goddamn treasure. Worst warlord is Hancock.
Jeremiah Flores
Still waiting for the reveal that Croco used to be a woman, before Ivankov did his/her hormone trickery.
I'm caught up on one piece and don't give two fucks about DC. Even I know Luffy can't win, half the haki abilities don't even matter if you just get outclassed hard enough.
Brayden Brooks
Law probably has the wildest jumps in power compared to whoever he is fighting. Sometimes he is completely OP and other times he is manhandled in the worst way. At first I thought he was effectively god inside his little dome because he took care of Virgo and Smoker with no trouble, but then Doflamingo had zero trouble stopping him inside it. And now mid level Kaido minions are doing the same.
David Green
Luffy is learning how to bypass Kaido's super tough skin by learning the Wano trick of shooting haki into someone with a regular punch. So we will see how that goes, His Gear 4th was pretty much nothing against Kaido the first time.
Lincoln Brown
Haki was sort of introduced with CP9 and their members having numbered powerlevels after training in super martial arts that let them become more powerful than most devilfruit users. When Lucci can exterminate an island with just fists, fly, shoot energy from his fingers, and make himself bulletproof with a named trained skill then we basically have haki in the series in all but name.
Jackson Cook
How long until Reed figures out everything there is to know about Devil Fruits including how to totally negate them?
Jonathan Gonzalez
>tfw one piece dub pleb
Colton Rodriguez
It’s Plas. I don’t think he could Solo the whole of the one piece world since he doesn’t have the ability to even hit some people, but Luffy is not one of those people. Plas is simply too strong for him.
That said, they wouldn’t fight if given the option. Plas would probably grow himself a pirate hat and a parrot as a bit upon hearing Luffy wanted to be king of the pirates, which would amaze Luffy. Then, seeing he has an audience, Plas would turn into a boat, which would make Luffy ask him to join his crew as the second boat.
Ten minutes into the fight. He will somehow recognize that all devilfruit powers emit a certain type of radiation that means the powers are on a specific wavelength that can be negated, or they are drawing power from an extradimensional source that can be cut off with a handy device he has in his lab or can whip up out of random debris on the street
Justin James
Haki is so fucking retarded and lazy.
Every time I see people discussing it it makes me glad I dropped OP before it grew into the embarrassing clusterfuck it is now.
i'm not sure plas is a planet buster but he can tank planet busting attacks
Jace Wright
I love Luffy to death, but Plastic man is some busted shit. I hope Luffy gets to his level by the end of the series, there's still lots of shit with his flecability oda could do that he hasnt
Luis Flores
I remember when we were all hoping that the dark haki skin Luffy had was actually vulcanized rubber and unique to him alone.
As much as I remember that dub and it made me actually hate one piece for a long while, the funimation dub is the one I've been watching, which is less retarded.
Noah Thomas
>got btfo so badly he's samefagging based retard
Cooper Nguyen
Oda has been setting up "awakened" devil fruits since Impel Down. We saw them again with Doflamingo and Katakuri.
I can't imagine what Luffy's ability would be like if it becomes "awakened".
Awakened Zoan does not seem to do much for them though.
Awakened paremecia makes them able to flex superpowers over concepts and thoughts.
Cameron Nelson
Awakened so far means they can turn other things into their devil fruit power, so it probably means Luffy turns things into rubber too.
Luis Davis
Imagine being this fat and retarded Haki/nen/chi/ki/stands/life force is not a new concept
Sebastian Scott
Awakened Zoan have more endurance and power/defense. Zoan in general are just powerhouses.
Jackson Morgan
Jobbing powerhouses lel
Hudson Ramirez
Anyone with haki ourtanks them pretty hard. Zoan fruit just kind of sucks compared to the other two types unless they are the rare few that get a mythical animal that includes a superpower.
Thomas Brooks
We've only seen four so far so I don't know why you're already jumping to conclusion with them.
Caleb Smith
Also makes them into savage dumb animals
Jaxson Ward
>Anyone with Haki outranks an awakened Zoan
The mere existence of people like Kaido, CP0, and Marco prove you rong
Austin Ward
Lucci and company aren't even awakened yet, I think. Most of their power comes from their fighting abilities.
Brody Bell
I think plastc man has a nice chin, he's rather handsome but luffy has heart motherfucker so he wud win.
Gabriel Jenkins
Good Old Crocomom theory.
Joseph Wilson
Crocodile is the best character period and it's high time he finished his crossword and returned to the story. I refuse to believe Oda is an incompetent enough rider to not have Moriah involved in Kaidou's defeat. >now the Firetank Pirates are planning on stealing Thriller Bark for themselves Is this a new development or did I overlook something? I took a break from following One PIece after the kappa's reveal chapter because the serial drip feed makes me want to kill myself.
Carter Foster
Latest cover story.
Wyatt Ortiz
Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo
Xavier Reed
Vs Clayface
Jason Flores
It's just a consequence of being a protag, along with being super strong. He can beat almost anyone due to his fruit, so he has to be held back by Haki levels to avoid stomping everyone.
Michael Sanders
did we mention the awaken fruit abilities? I doubt luffy will learn that
Josiah Hall
Luffy eventually will
Noah Russell
Luffy has greater strength, but that doesn't matter since PM is indestructible. And can handle water.
Charles Murphy
Villain from Gold movie had an awakened power that let him set up a nervous system through all the gold he had touched.
