This is true but I’d rather him be in a movie then not had in anything at all. Get a director (like the writers who actually like him and his character) to do him. The reason he’s so fucking based in the comics is BECAUSE people who know him and his character wrote him. And the dirty secret is that it’s not hard to to BRB, just make him speak very formal english, be a badass alpha (irony), and be a total bro to Thor without trying to usurp him or try him. BRB truly is one of the best.

The comic was awesome as well. Bill is great because his whole mission is so honorable that Odin makes him a cool gold distinct hammer, and makes him pretty much better than his son (because base Bill beat Thor multiple times). The horsehead/alien aspect of it coupled with his very proper speech and honor code made him a fan favorite.

Bill seems cool but the way his fans hype him beating Thor makes it sound unearned and that Marvel was simply pushing him too hard.

They were gonna have him cameo in Ragnarok but decided it would be doing him a disservice, so they cut it so they could do it right later. He'll probably be in Love and Thunder or Asgardians of the Galaxy.

I don't think Thunderstrike is high on their priorities. God, I remember a miniseries with a team of US Agent, War Machine and Thunderstrike. It felt like the good Avengers got sick and were replaced with understudies.
