Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

>"1st "scary" MCU Film"
What did they mean by this?

It means New Mutants is going direct to Hulu

How does that have any connection to Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?

Nobody at Yea Forums cares because we ALL hate Disney's lying ass and we wish ALL their employees would die a brutal bloody death.

Can I assume it will be "horror" in the same way Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of The Dark is "horror?"

As in, kid friendly, but maybe with one or two "NIGHTMARE FUEL!" characters that they can post about on TVtropes

The 20 minute long scene where Wanda gets tentacle raped by Shuma-Gorath was a bit too much.

>we ALL hate Disney's lying ass and we wish ALL their employees would die a brutal bloody death.
Never say "we" on Yea Forums or anywhere else on Yea Forums(nel), newfag

It means you can be scary in tone and theme without needing blood, gore or an R-rating. Or you can just have some jump-scares.

Look at this faggot and laugh

Wanda being part of this makes me believe she will not have a happy ending in WandaVision. It seemingly comes out just a month before this.

Dr Strange was "weird and trippy" because it had a handful of Inception style building bending scenes.

Set similar expectations.

You need to go back.

shut the fuck up newfag, you go back

>the first scary MCU film

Scary for children. These are children's movies.

Will this be their 1 non SJW film in phase 4?

Drama with mild horror and fucked up plot elements, but still safe enough for mainstream audiences to get thru

Like every horror movie Scott Derrikson made

>Like every horror movie Scott Derrikson made
I had to look up what else he's done. Aside from Emily Rose, that is not a pretty list.

He's a horror director that bets more for character driven stuff than full terror, that's a good fit for Disney movies, but that also means he's not actually making Strange into nightmare fuel, so most people on Yea Forums won't find it scary at all

Pretty much. They also said that Age of Ultron and the first Dr. Strange would be horror.

>no sequel
kek

I don't know or care about the horror aspect. This could be good if they explore crazy scenarios, but I'm thinking that's less of a possibility with What If being in the picture.

Psychedelic more than actually scary

>nightmare fuel
You have to go back.

ItMoM being the first scary MCU film wouldn't preclude New Mutants being released, because New Mutants is not an MCU movie. It wasn't planned as one, there's no reason for them to retrofit it as one when they didn't for Dark Phoenix.

Superhero Movie was the best "____ Movie", prove me wrong.
You can't.

I honestly keep forgetting New Mutants is a thing
