I was already an adult when the show started, but my fiancee grew up with Bob's and I know it means a lot to her generation. Some of my students say they feel closer to the Bergers than to their own family.

Bob's Burgers launched in the era post Tv being the biggest thing in people's lives. By being from the 90s the Simpsosn/South Park/Family Guy/KotH all enjoyed tens of millions of viewers tuning in to watch every episode, which was enough to make them part of the zeigist of the generation. Bob's Burger is lucky to get a little of one million viewers each epiaode, so it's penetration to the consciousness of this generation is inhererant stunted regardless of quality. Hence why you never see any Bob's Burger memes or anything

I also thought Napoleon Dynamite was a solid show. A pretty decent cartoon version of the movie, but a bizarre choice coming like half a decade later.

We do this every damn time. All Yea Forums wants to talk about is Marvel, DC, and loli shitposting. Even though Rick and Morty gets its fair share of attention here every now and then, a Bob’s Burgers thread stays active only once in a blue moon.
Fuck off, the only bad thing about Bob’s post-Season 4 is the writers’ overreliance on kid-focused episodes with the parents stuck in some B-plot at the restaurant. Even then, most of these kid episodes still turn out great. Barring the fatigue toward that tired out episode structure, Bob’s Burgers is still solid through and through.

The following seasons still had that same improv feel. Really, the only changes were the improved visuals and the slightly less mean-spirited humor.
