Whelp, now that its wrapped up, I can finally say this season was the most disjointed, aimless, thoughtless and least exciting of all of them. I miss season 2. I miss the absolute mess that was season 2, because it was somehow more coherent and actually felt like things were happening. I was all ready when they unleashed the anti-life, and it just putzed out like it was an everyday run of the mill badguy. Everything bad about season 1 was cranked up to absurd levels. I accepted the downgraded animation, I accepted the new cast, I accepted everything because you don't need good animation for good writing, and this had none of it.

Theoretically it's fine. But he was operating as a member of a group whose intent was to inspire hope. Killers inspire fear, even when they are heroes. The Markovians might be happy with Prince Chad Thunderrock murdering his uncle while he was restrained, and without trial, but the Quraqi and Bialyian citizens will probably be fearful of him.

Vibe is basically just waiting to be used, and they have excuses for all sorts of metas. Since they have Static, they could use any of the bang-babies too, which gives quite a few potential characters.
A long, slow and steady introduction of OCs while the timeline marches on and children grow into adults that require a stasis to keep the original cast from aging into retirement seems incredibly likely.

The catharsis was internal and genuine, but the circumstances around it were deceptive. It seems something you could milk drama around next season instead of being some WALLY IS ALIVE OMFG sign everyone else is misreading it as.

I'm really hopeful that they do this in Shazam 2.
