So why didn't the comics use this design?
Teen Titans and by extension Teen Titans Go are the only things where Jinx has even a shred of popularity, so why didn't they at least make comics Jinx resemble how she is in the show so some of the popularity could carry over?

The problem in the comics isn't her design, it's the lack of personality for all the members of the Hive 5.
DC has a problem where other media improves a character and they don't implement those changes in the comics.

Comics writers are given free reign to redefine the characters they are working with too much, so none of them ever write the same character. They just write how they think that character should be written, and fuck whatever the canon was before they got their fingers on it.
Comic writers don't even give a shit what the guy ahead of them in line writing the same comic was doing, they gotta ejaculate their creative vision all over the comic as soon as they get it. You think they are going to have any more care for what a cartoon did with the same character years ago?
