Captain Marvel still exists.
Well the source material was shit too so it was a good adaptation of said source material
Who's that green guy?
Just because you dislike the character of doesn't mean it was a bad adaptation at all. Also it's middle of the road MCU, not even remotely the worst (The Dark World and Incredible Hulk are still there)
Dark world was just boring, i didnt see captain marvel but from the synopsis ive read here it was really preachy and tryhard with its message which i think is worse then a harmless boring film.
“““My Bad”””
>i didnt see captain marvel but
Opinion discarded, then.
>not even remotely the worst
Captain Marvel is solidly the worst MCU film. There's not a single redeeming feature of it.
I know the plot and everything so my opinion still counts, dumbass
I’ve never seen it, but I remember the Daily Show interview with Alan Cumming was fucking hilarious because everyone knew it was shit and they barely said anything about the movie.
I think OP is suggesting adaptations that stray furthest from their source material. So it has to be more than just a deeply disappointing version of something that was already pretty meh as notes.
My bottom 5 comic book adaptations:
5. Tranktastic Four
4. Supergirl
3. Catwoman
2. Son of the Mask
1. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
Knowing the plot =/= Actually seeing it
it's bad but it has an actual structure with a character arc. Some adaptions can't even have those
Reading the wiki is not at all the same, and the movie wasn't preachy at all. The fact that you're trying to say your opinion matters because of it is laughable.
It really damn isn't and being so vehemently against it just makes you look stupid.
You're wasting your breath, Captain Marvel has become a symbol of their struggle.
>carol gets her powers because men told her what a cockpit was for men only
Yeah, sure
That's... Not what--
Yeah, fuck it. I'm gonna stop right here.
No.
The Cybersix live action wasn´t exactly lauded...
>Can we all agree
No.
Nah I mean it's terrible but at least it had SOME elements of the comic.
Even references to "You're just too good to be true" song, which was a nice touch.
Meanwhile Jonah Hex.
All you have to do was take a good western script and give the hero messed up face!
Instead they went "Oh it's a comicbook so he's gotta have superpowers like the ability to speak to the dead and to fight a supervillain who wants to make a giant ridiculous weapon like it's Wild Wild West."
Please stop posting. In general.
>>Preachy
The only feminist thing I saw was her smashing a dude's motorcycle for being rude to her. The rest of the movie her gender is pretty much a non-isue
Are you some kind of Indian incel who can't fathom a woman with power, even in fiction?
>The only feminist thing I saw was her smashing a dude's motorcycle for being rude to her
And that was a deleted scene because she didn't even talk back to him in the movie, only stole the bike.
Tumor.
THIS IS THE PART WHERE YOU RUN
THIS IS THE PART WHERE I CUM
Based
Cringe
Superman is a hero because he’s a good person, stupid.
>The Cybersix live action wasn´t exactly lauded...
wait they made a live-action Cybersix? when?
Was it a better sequel than this?
Whatever happened to that fat kid? I know he was in the Nancy Drew movie and License to Wed.
Why do they make so many sequels to Jim Carrey films without Jim Carrey?
carrey refuses sequels
Because he doesn't do them Dumb and Dumber being an exception. But even then it did have a prequel where Jim wasn't in.
Son of the Mask was terrible for many reasons, but lacking Jim Carrey shouldn't be one of them.
That's how poorly utilized The Mask is as an IP and I hope Netflix fixes that shit.
HOLY CRAP!
>Lois referenced The Mask in old Family Guy
>That's as far as referencing it goes.
Oh no
I've seen nothing but edited versions of this meme so many times that I've forgotten who was originally at the door.
this is the part where you cringe
Pretty much this. It's a... I'd call it a Thor 1, in that it kinda happened but that's about it, really.
Nah he's an hero because he's Kryptonian and his dad told him about the House of El and shit.
>only stole the bike.
Such a HERo
Cap and Natasha stole a car in Winter Soldier. Who gives a fuck.
This is the cringiest post ive seen all year. What a horrible and stupid this to say, you clearly only made this thread for (you)s. My god I can't believe I share a board with people like you.
Fucking Cringe.
Fuck you.
>worst Yea Forums adaption
Not the worse, but the reboot is a top toptier worst Yea Forums adaption
"my bad "
not really a adaptation, more like a shit sequel to the 1994 movie
>fire Deltoro
>make a pastiche version of his movies
>still call it a reboot
this is like divine punishment for something
Haven't seen it. Elektra is probably the worst I've seen, or Catwoman.
>you guys are gonna cgi the mask and hair, right?
Yes
>You still exist
Fixed
"My bad"
I still believe there is a “woke cut” somewhere because those scenes felt out of place but seemed to be connected to another narrative that was never shown
bullshit he did the sequel to pet detective and one of the dumb and dumber movies
he did the sequel to pet detective. tard
