For sure, I am glad that the ending we are getting is not something out of nowhere, Stephen wanted to go with season 7 but instead we get a shortened season that is all about closing the show. And there's not a more perfect way to see the show off without Felicity.
Personally, if it was up to me I'd make it much more intimate and closed off from rest of Arrowverse, because that was the way it started, with just Oliver. Cosmic time travel shenanigans just doesn't scream Arrow, but if it's used only to let Oliver meet up with Tommy, Moira and etc, hey, maybe they are doing something good with it, but overall the Arrow ride is either good either complete shit, there's no in-between. If this season ends up being good I'll be at least satisfied that to me Arrow was more good than shit, it'll outweigh the good just a little over the bad.
