Steven Universe had a lot of Potential, but it basically nosedived in terms of everything after Season 1, which even then wasn't a masterpiece
Remember how bright everything was? Remember how fresh and clean the aesthetic was? Nice and shiny like a newly mointed coin? Remember the mystery? The intrigue and childlike wonder of everything? Where Townie shit and Story shit peacefully cohabitated in the same world? It felt so vast and untapped, like the scope would just get grander and more amazing as time went on
What happened to all that?
