The game stays very close to the canon of the comic, so Zimmy won't be in it unless there's some upcoming storyline that involves her heavily.

Keeping it compatible with canon is cool, but the main appeal of these types of games is getting to fuck around with the world/characters in decidedly non-canon ways. I'd personally want lots of optional scenes with different characters, even if Annie is the main focus of it all. It just wouldn't feel like a complete lewd GC game to me with those characters missing.
Still though, the idea of the game sounds cool. I'm looking forward to your progress.

But the overaching plot is heavily based on canon, at least until the current chapter. Who knows what Tom's gonna do, but so far I haven't planned to branch off in any major way that would impact the story.
Basically, the only real thing that changes is that Annie goes in heat earlier than in the comic, so obviously, once the comic comes around to that, it would have to branch off, but until then everything's following the canon major events.

I think you could write a decently believable reason for Zimmy to be skulking around somewhere in the game, even if she hasn't shown up in the comic for a while. It probably wouldn't even contradict canon when she eventually does show up again.
