Do you think it's possible for a creator to milk their idea too much, or they can do whatever they want with it for as long as they want?
Do you think it's possible for a creator to milk their idea too much...
Retard
Those aren’t mutually exclusive things
They can do whatever the hell they want for as long as they want.
>Do you think it's possible for a creator to milk their idea too much
Yes
>they can do whatever they want with it for as long as they want?
Also Yes
"Muh spawn"
I was speaking more from what an individual thinks of a creator rather than literally "they can do whatever they want".
Like the people who say "Matt and Trey should cancel South Park already" are probably the type of people who don't think a creator should keep using their one idea for a comic/cartoon for decades.
The second series of The Tick sucked so fucking much. Relegating your best characters and actors to background so you can push Arthur's uninteresting sister was such a shit idea.
Isn't he set for life already? Can you blame a man for sticking with his character for decades as long as it's lucrative?
Yeah but they’re still not mutually exclusive. I can feel like a creator is milking their idea too much while at the same time wanting them to get back on track and continue with their idea
Feminism ruins everything.
Both proportions aren't contradictory. Yes to both.
Not only is she suddenly a badass, more than her actual superhero brother, but she has superpowerful metahuman abilities just in time to save the pathetic grimdark ex-badass who might as well not exist by the end of the series.
I'm so mad. The first series was really good and Peter Sarahfinandwinch is one of my favourite comedy guys.
he stole the he throw thing from Megaton Man
Wow. Now I’m glad there won’t be a season 3
My dad likes this show
The first season was good, but somewhere long the line it seemed to forget that it was called "The Tick" and not "Arthur and His Annoying Sister". The series really should have been lampshading shows like The Flash, Arrow, Agents of Shield and other overly-serious live-action superhero TV shows, but in season 2 it seemed to completely forget that and basically just became one.
Is that really feminism, or is that Ben just getting tired of the same Tick story three times in a row and trying to mix it up?
So was The Tick Arthur's tulpa or something?
I don't get why The Tick always fails. I've loved every version for different reasons.
I mean the earlier ones were on Fox. Famous for throwing away good ideas.
>Pol/ is that way double loving cuck nigger.
Tick only failed when it was a sitcom on FOX. The comic series was successful. Cartoon series got 3 seasons. Amazon series got 2 seasons.
I have to imagine a comic character getting three TV iterations is pretty good.
arthur fucking warped reality to create a superion level superhuman.
arthur got the og hax powers
There won't?
I just looked it up. Damn it, why can't we have nice things?
