I really enjoy the dynamic the Green Lanterns have with Batman
Of course they're going to butt heads with Batman, they're polar opposites. Batman fights crime from the shadows to make criminals afraid. GLs shine bright and dive head first into a fight. Its not about making criminals fear them, it's about the GL having no fear.
Batman likes to be in control of situations while GLs refuse to let others control them, it's why they butt heads with the Guardians so much.
