Old things bad, my things good. Traditional feminine things like "fashion" are oppressive, girls should be chubby and have buzzcuts like me.

I'm not saying that's all of it, that's just a small subset. Adults are involved. Politics are involved. But I tend to look at the audience of a cartoon on Twitter or tumblr and assume they're all teenage girls.

In our time of need we went to /pol/ for help and that had predictable results on the quality of the rest of the site. Time also passed, and with it the political schism grew a lot more.

To be honest I don't hate the showyet but the people in charge who didn't show a goddamn thing of animation in that "PV" and talked about stuff not related to the show.

the biggest possitive point of the new show (and likely the only one that counts) is that the characters no longer look like the same barbie doll person wearing different wigs, which was the result of the characters being modeled after dolls with limited molding as a result of manufacturing cost-cutting measures. this means that the new She-Ra doesn't have to sell dolls to exist and can be a true show with a story and characters first, which is great (another positive).
