So what happens to Ike Perlmutter when Trump is over? Either by a loss, impeachment or the 25th Amendment.
Does he go up on charges? Roam free? Have to leave the country...? Or has he actually managed to avoid breaking the law?

Context for mods: He's the Marvel Entertainment CEO responsible for putting a white supremacist in charge of writing Captain America.

the law has nothing to do with it user
you answer to the mob now

Shut up OP. This isn't pol or tv. Go there to troll.

He's gone from Marvel the second Trump exits the door. Disney is embarrassed by him and his association with their brand and the only reason he is still there is because Disney is afraid of Trump or the deplorables attacking and boycotting their movies if they kick him out.

Didn't Feige pretty much tell him to stop being a cunt? I assume that's why we haven't heard much from him lately.

I miss the little wings.

dumb samefagging

no matter how shitty ike is, and has terrible business sense. after the disney buyout he is literally marvel's single largest shareholder, he will NEVER leave until he dies. it's that simple, he's an oldschool workaholic too, we're all stuck with him

>he will NEVER leave until he dies. it's that simple, he's an oldschool workaholic too, we're all stuck with him
sounds pretty based

>Didn't Feige pretty much tell him to stop being a cunt? I assume that's why we haven't heard much from him lately.
After Ike got ousted from the movies the deal was the Feigie would get the movies and Ike couldn't touch 'em but Ike would develop all the TV shows.

After refusing to acknowledge any of those shows exist for years Marvel has canceled every TV show Ike developed and is launching a new slate of TV shows based on the movies which Ike will have no control over.

He has already been cut out. But yeah... Disney is afraid to full-on ditch him with Trump is in office.
(Evans was going to quit after Cap 3 until Ike got the boot.)

he's just part of that generation, it's very common

i don't hate the man's desire to work. but his decisions have all been shit tier. if he got his way, 100% the mcu wouldn't have hit the heights they're at now. bendis would still be at marvel as well with muh committee

> He's the Marvel Entertainment CEO responsible for putting a white supremacist in charge of writing Captain America.
What the actual fuck are you talking about?

Spencer? Because he mocked antifa a SINGLE time in his run despite the entire rest of the run being a giant Orange Man Bad PSA?

Dumb political baiting aside, Ike is notoriously cheap, hard to work with, and callous. I doubt Disney will let him anywhere near the MCU again, but they might not have the clout to out and out remove him (remember that he's a big stockholder along with his buddy Rupert Murdoch).

>In August 2015, Marvel Studios was placed into Walt Disney Studios, with Feige reporting directly to Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn instead of Marvel Entertainment CEO Isaac Perlmutter. Marvel Television and subsidiary Marvel Animation were left under Marvel Entertainment and Perlmutter's control.

He's the guy who had the actor for Rhodes replaced because he felt "black people all look the same anyway", right? Not surprised he ended up in the Trump administration. Chances are he's also responsible for the MCUs strong conservative themes but these didn't really go away, even after he was relegated to those television shows no one watches.

He'll still own what he owns. You aren't getting rid of him until he dies, son.

Disney can't do anything about someone who owns their stock, dumbshit.

know, rhodes cast switch was because howard was difficult to work with and asked for too much in the sequel. ike is a shitty person though

iron man 3 was supposed to have maya hansen as the villain like in the comics, but that was changed because he didn't want it, as well as no black widow solo until now. so he deprived us of prime scarjo in a catsuit pre-disney buyout

>MCUs strong conservative themes
seek help

He didn't want Maya as the villain because she factually wouldn't sell toys.

That's a load of bollocks. He was replaced because they low balled his salary and gave RDJ a massive boost despite paying RDJ less than him in the first film.

They played hard ball.

Dup btfo

> Not surprised he ended up in the Trump administration
Trump hasn't said or done anything against blacks in his campaign or presidency and really hasn't done anything against blacks since the renting issues in the 70s, 50 fucking years ago.

And no him being outraged but the Central Park 5 rape isn't fucking racism. Is everyone who feel strongly that Casey Anthony is guilty and should be executed a anti white racist?

Oh, come the fuck on. Constant positive depictions of the army, constant positive depictions of Intelligence Agency (where the only heroic white person in Black Panther was a CIA agent which is fucking absurd if you consider the real CIAs activity in Africa) constant positive portrayal of capitalism where the point that Vulture, from Spiderman Homecoming, who led a kind of workers rebellion, was a villain, it took them over a decade to have a protagonist who's not a white man, for Christ's sake, it's most recognizable heroes are a war profiteer, an American soldier and a Nordic God. Of course the series has conservative overtones.

Ike is a nobody with no power over MCU films. He will continue to shit out garbage non canon television with Loeb like always. Nothing will happen.

The MCU is pro-government, pro-big business as hell.

RDJ got a smaller upfront salary and part of the backend. RDJ was also basically starting his career over after getting all but blackballed by Hollywood over his substance abuse problems preventing him from getting work insurance.

Nothing. He stepped down from Marvel Entertainment is just on on their board of CEOs now.

Nothing. You think Feige is going to take over or some stupid shit?

>The MCU is pro-government, pro-big business as hell.
Wait what?

>Iron Man - Tony wants to get out weapons business, Obadiah betrays him. Tony destroys his weapons in the hands of terrorists and stops Obadiah.
Big Business = bad.
>Incredible Hulk - Military want Hulk. Hulk was only created because the military wanted to replicate super soldier serum. Abomination was made by the military.
Government = bad.
>Iron Man 2 - Government want to take Iron Man suit. Government even works with Hammer. Hammer manufactures arms.
Government + Big Business = bad.
>Avengers - SHIELD manufacturing weapons using the cube. Security council literally want to nuke New York.
Government = bad.
>Iron Man 3 - Killian literally fronts a fake terror group.
Big Business = bad.
>Winter Soldier - SHIELD is literally Hydra.
Government = bad.
>Ant Man - Darren Cross wants to sell weapon to terrorists.
Big Business = bad.
