Watch "Kids Stuff" and that's it.
Overrated Tripe.
The Cadmus arc is really great. It helps if you've read Watchmen first though. There's also some lighthearted episodes like the Great Brain Robbery where Lex and Flash switch brains.
>dun dun duuun durudurudu
Whos the old man above Canary? I remember him being the coolest?
A shit show that aged like rancid milk
watch BAT and SAT and JL before Unlimited
you're literally jumping to the end of the DCEU
Batwank
It's alright. If you like BTAS, STAS, or JL then you already know what you're in for. Not as good as any of those, desu, but it's good enough to enjoy it all the way through.
"The Return" and "Question Authority" are two of my favorite episodes out of any of the DC cartoons.
Ladderbro, still butt hurt over EMH, I see.
Wildcat.
Read more comics, he's pretty basic and even had a legacy character and his own mini with Batgod.
A bunch of boring shot
ladder lad, still butt hurt over all those Spider-Man shows that ended on cliffhangers or were never quite popular enough?
I think Unlimited was better than JL
Wildcat Ted Grant
IIRC He trained Batman, Catwoman, and Black Canary.
Nah, I just don’t like this show that much. GLTAS and BATB were the best DC shows.
I would agree with you but nostalgia dictates I bring up the DCAU
based boomer
Shit's fun, rewatching it got me back into comics after I'd given up on em for like a decade
You're about to see the only adaptation of Alan Moore's work that he actually likes.
I've been meaning to watch the Green Lantern cartoon, hopefully it's on amazon
what?
just stream it nigga
kimcartoon or some other site
"I have no idea who this is"
For the Man Who Has Everything
Did you wash your hands?
where did he say he liked it though
He allowed them to use his name on the episode. He never does that.
Second the motion.
There's fuck all Batwank in JLU. It's Superman centric if anything
He doesn't need to watch BTAS (he should because it's great) but he needs STAS that's where all the big plots of JL really start
I believe the opposite. JL had tighter plots, a tighter team, a comfier feel and better more impressive 2parters and 5parters.
Unlimited felt like Young Justice. Underpowered heroes all over the place who don't really like each other and are sent to deal with the secondary objectives.
This plus Batman beyond and static shock
Static is a part of the DCAU?
Yes. Green Lantern and some other JL characters have cameos on his show and he shows up as an old man on an episode of JLU that's set in the future.
The kinoest of all super hero content
One day I want to line up the entire Timmverse and watch it from start to finish.
I think you're in for something special, but apparently that's not the case.
At the very least watch the first JL show. Just robbing yourself of enjoyment otherwise.
A lot of unnecessary two-parters, but it gets better by the second season
TWO legacy characters
I just saw Ultimatum. What a fantastic episode, Dematteis uses so many elements from so many places so well. I like that the Ultimates are made up of expies for old original characters like Apache Chief, Wonder Twins, Black Lightning, etc. It's also a really cool use of Max Lord in a world where the JL is so fuckhuge that International is kind of built into it. 10/10, ending made me wanna cry just a bit.
>ending made me wanna cry just a bit
Just wait. There are more feels as the series goes on. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to spoil it.
Jeffrey Combs as Question is still one of my favourite characters in animation.
That really depends. The reason why there is so much conflict IS because the Justice League was expanding and many heroes were recruited specifically because they had different opinions compared to how the original seven members had.
And "secondary" objectives aka plots with lower stakes are good oportunities to explore character interactions and character development that you might not be able to in higher stakes stories.
A good time.
Actually that's "Devil Ray", a stand in for Black Manta they had to use because at the time Dini/Timm weren't allowed to use him because of an Aquaman show that eventually never happened. They had plans to introduce the real Black Manta during next season, but the show ended.

I feel like you're missing A LOT of context by skipping out on Superman The Animated Series, OP. It's a great show too.
On another note, I wish the Justice League comic was structured like the JLU. They really should stop trying to pretend the group is just 7 people
