The big problem I’m thinking of for the hotel is they’re unlikely to get whole families making a reservation unless ALL of them are really into Star Wars. If you were just a parent that got a room just because of your kids there doesn’t seem to be anything you’d see in a regular Disney cruise to distract people who aren’t into it.

The only exciting info was that Poppins is (probably) a full dark ride instead of a carousel. The rest was meh, though the epcot refurb looks ok.

Only significant new rides announced were an avengers ride (only vague details, sounded like it could be using the Millenium Falcon system) and Mary Poppins isn't just a carousel it seems.

The Doctor Strange attraction announced for Paris seems to just be a character meet and greet, the Pym attraction looks just to be the restaurant.

The only based thing is Caballeros is safe

I mean, I sorta get it? People go to Disney World and they want to see the properties they love. But I really feel like when you start introducing Star Wars, Marvel, and fucking Avatar into the parks, they really start losing their original vision. I can understand the recreation part of Epcot not being entirely about the future anymore, because the future always comes tomorrow, and new stuff is coming at a constant rate, and TomorrowLand's deal is more to deal with retro futurism, but it's just strange. It'll be extremely weird if they ever do a Simpsons ride. It just feels so alien and unfitting.

I don't think so. Consider the tone of the Simpsons ride at Universal. The Simpsons is much more cynical and "edgy" than anything at the Disney parks, even in it's current zombified state. Would you expect a Family Guy attraction at WDW?

Possibly, but Universal pretty much covered the Simpsons with their Springfield. More so than there being two Spiderman rides, a Disney Simpsons attraction would likely be really redundant. Maybe some kind of shop or eatery outside of the parks.
