Star was the villain of her series to be sure, but this is not a bad thing. She was possibly just a flawed protagonist. Maybe Marco would have been a better one along with possibly Janna. She could have been a side character that held a key to solve her dimension's problem, dealing with a feud between monsters and mewmans. She put's Marco in charge of handling this situation by being the brains of the team, Janna being the kick ass girl to learn a bit of magic from star, and star being the supportive member, suppling spells and extra strength for the team.
