Only Dipper got completely thrown into the “won’t they” pile, Mordecai and Finn initially succeeded at romance and then had everything collapse.
Mordecai got his first girl, then got hit with a breakup, got a second girl, got hit with another breakup, and only found love with a complete nobody
Finn failed to get his first girl for understandable reasons, got a second girl basically designed to be his love interest, got hit with an absolutely devastating breakup anyways that left him in the dumps for ages, and only found love with someone one step above a complete nobody.
Gumball basically lucks into his girl and they never break up, and if anything the only thing keeping them from tying the knot is being too young to marry.
Why? What did Finn and Mordecai fuck up that Gumball somehow managed to get right on the first attempt?

Gumball is a standard sitcom. The girl stay with the guy no matter how pathetic or stupid the guy is. Gumball is a terrible boyfriend. Even Richard is better. But that doesn't matter because it's a sitcom.
