It's not hard to juggle a whopping 7 characters, and it's certainly not a necessity to keep half of them separated most of the time.

Team A was dusted when Team B showed up, Team B was separated from Steven when he fused with Team A, aside from Garnet but they didn't really comment on that. They get like a minute together before Team A forms Obsidian and Team B gets swatted by the Diamond Mech. Team B isn't around for the entire confrontation with White, and the ending montage has them in varying pairs and degrees of togetherness with little to no dialogue between them. The best interaction we got through all of COM was the one shot after White conceded where Peal jumped on Bismuth and Peridot climbed on Amethyst.

It was because in promo for the episode Connie was acting all reserved and secretive about something, it honestly would have made perfect sense if the episode was about pms with an opening like this.

Hell, would've been a perfect opportunity to show her how Gems can in fact change and that the Diamond's view was wrong. Him pretty much brushing it off just reinforced her belief.

White Diamond said it's written all over her gems, I think the assumption here is she was making accurate guesses. Amethyst is a stunted Quartz = insecure, Pearl's are pretty much designed to be obsessed, and Garnet is a perma-fusion aka dependent. Amethyst isn't nearly as insecure after the Jasper arc; Peridot can freely make off-handed remakes about how Amethyst came out wrong

Pearl's whole struggle is getting over her obsession, or at least getting it under control, and just being a healthier person/gem. Not having that secret looming over her was a big step.

A giant majority of Yea Forums adores the show. It’s a very, very vocal portion of Yea Forums that hates it. There really isn’t any point in arguing with those who hate it on here, nothing gets accomplished. Proof of this is when new content actually comes out, the threads are insane, usually happy, and consistently go 1000+ posts.
Its wild seeing where the show is now. I remember the threads for the pilots, the pseudo generals during the first season, and how most of the original viewers were groaning when jailbreak came out and how so many people were now aware of the show and the cancer that game with that, good or bad. How time flies

The reaction to that was amazing.

Seeing all the characters happy and finally well adjusted (sans Jasper, but that's S6 material) really puts a smile on my face. Steven especially has grown so much as a person both physically and mentally.
