Top 3 of my favorite gems after Blue Diamond and Jasper.

I liked her a lot, but after season 1 all the mystery around her character was gone, which was the biggest draw for me.

On topic:
Garnet was fun in S1+S2, did become a bit top underwritten for S3 and most of S4 before recovering really well in the fifth season. Both of her episodes had nothing to do with fusion for once (not that I mind since it suits the stort, but I agree it was getting stale) and her standing up to Blue Diamond was one of the highlights of the entire show.

Steven Universe is shit. I was into it at first, but then it just went shit.

That being said, objectively Garnet is the best gem because she's had the least amount of bullshit events where she does something unappealing to the audiences' eyes.

Unless we count Ruby and Sapphires as individuals as ALSO garnet, but SU has this weird tendency to flipflop on whether a fusion is its own individual or just two midgets in a trench coat.
