>That time they retconned the only healthy relationship Brian had just so he can look more unlikeable
Why does Family Guy hate its characters so much they take away redeeming qualities?

You know FG doesn't want likable characters anymore.
family guy tried to kill off one of its most popular characters just to raise ratings they don't understand TV
The people who still watch Family Guy don't want character growth.
Because the writers for modern family guy are assholes who thinks that being cruel, disgusting, and stereotyping all the time equals comic gold, and that if the fans don't like it then they can just go fuck themselves
They're making every character as unlikeable as possible so that in the series finale the driver who killed Brian comes back around the block to not only finish the job but kill off the entire population of Quahog.
>that one time Meg called out her own family for treating her like shit and abusing her.
>apologists after and keeps getting treated like shit and abused.
Megs life is suffering desu.
I feel like a lot of Family Guy episodes are calling out one specific person the writers know
>retconned
It's not a retcon. It's a continuation, Briay did help his son, but he himself never changed. So naturally he views his son's success as his own.
The truth is because of Family Guy, status quo Brian isn't ever there for his son. So he will never be a good father.
>It's not a retcon.
The last time we see Brian and Dylan interact he's a loving father who didn't want Dylan to leave his life the next time Brian is a deadbeat and he wants nothing to do with the kid.
That's a retcon no which way about it.
