They were bigger than Jesus.

OP, The Beatles could've shit in a cup and it would've been considered a holy grail. Doesn't matter if their animated movie looked the way it did.

Putting in effort is not the way of the beatniks. That's just so conformative, maaan.

The most legendary shitstorm of all time. Meanwhile the rest of the world was just like

>Hey these Beatles lads have some pretty catchy tunes

fuck you

You don't need to be the Beatles to do that to be fair
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist's_Shit

I never knew the type of boomers like you can even work a computer.

After they stopped touring and Strawberry Fields Forever didn't hit #1 most normies were done with them.

Then came Sgt. Pepper and the summer of l o v e babe

Christards, man....

The sun is up, the sky is blue, I actually think this movie is beautiful, and so are you, OP.

Your mother looks like shit.

I've actually noticed some emerging Beatles hate online. Mostly from zoomers.

I think people are just tired of them.

Holy fuck I want to give that kid a wedgie. I can almost feel his elastic waistband between my fingers.

They’re just overrated. Helter Skelter is their best aged song.

Get back under the dirt Manson!

That picture was taken in 1964, so he's probably long dead by now user

Nah, I've seen Beatles hate my entire life. People just have shit taste. I honestly think the music industry is in a worse situation currently than the movie industry is. The first truly amazing band were The Beatles, and the last truly amazing band was Guns N' Roses (No, not Nirvana), everything before and after just doesn't hold a candle. Not even just talking about rock music, so much amazing shit came out between 1962 and 1987. It baffles me what happened to music.

Musically they were never special. Ever. Everything interesting about music was done 400 years ago.

But the hype culture alone is enough to warrant respect. In 7 years they went from please please me to let it be, and during that time you couldn't leave the house with getting a dose of the Beatles.

It's not even the best White Album song (Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da and Rocky Raccoon are)

the psychedelic visuals helped

It was the 60's, man. Everyone was too busy getting stoned and getting their dicks wet while you were sitting at woodstock in front of a 5-inch CRT like "the animation of this children's cartoon is quite poor"

My hometown had a lot of record burnings back when that shitstorm happened (less than 100 people, all either southern baptist or methodist, and mostly elderly), so I've heard. It's still really weird hearing people say the Beatles are overplayed; I didn't hear a single song from them until I was out of high school because no one liked them or even played them on the radio.

There's no way you're 50-60 years old and browsing Yea Forums of all things

No, I just heard about it from my parents.

Which Beatles song do you think you were concieved to?

>This level of Beatles worship.

Christ, this is actually the most boomer post I've ever seen.

>How can this film get away with looking like total shit?
dude acid lmao

>I've actually noticed some emerging Beatles hate online.
It’s just Twitter retards thinking shitting on The Beatles makes them unique. As if they actually care enough to listen to The Beatles to have a valid opinion.

John was based, he beat his wife.
Paul was based, he made self-indulgent music.
George was based, he fucked Ringo's wife.
Ringo was based, he made Octopus' Garden.
The Beatles were pretty fucking based.

Based

take your freaky fetish back to deviantart

You are

There are plenty of people born in the 50s who're alive today.

I know this is a cliche to says but no one watched this movie sober

Shut up, kid. Go play with your fidget spinner and drink some Onions.

>not Hey Jude
>not Let It Be
>not Tomorrow Never Knows
>not Yesterday
>not Come Together
>fucking Helter Skelter
How can one user have such shit taste?

Uh, you'd be surprised at how many 40+ year olds browse Yea Forums. Do you think all those sweaty animation who were posting in animation news groups 25 years ago, the ones Animaniacs made fun of, do you think they all just died or moved on? Fuck no.

*animation nerds

I have; many times. It's one of the few movies that make sense to me.

DUDE

Sounds like you and I think alike.

FUCK off. Seriously. Fuck. Off. It looks good and for its time it had great trippy scenes.
One if the best films of my childhood, one of the most underrated album with gems like Hey Bulldog and It's all too much.
It's a really important movie for me, as much as their music in general. They shaped my childhood. One of the few interactions my dad had with me was imprinting me on the Beatles, I thank him for that.
Dear user, won't you come out to mate
Retard zoommy

HEY BULLDOG

>one of the most underrated album with gems like Hey Bulldog
Well to be fair, Hey Bulldog isn't that underra-
> It's all too much.
My man.

Daily reminder that Ringo was one of the best rock drummers of the early 60s.

Attached: 1515642212144.jpg (297x376, 21K)

So I told a boomer to suck my dick on here?

If you're the type of zoomer who does that regularly, chances are that you have at some point.

This. There are professional drummers who marvel at the drum fills in "Rain".

Only hated by retards. I don’t get where this meme came from. Poor ringmo

>Studio drummer who couldn't write for shit

Reality will be a cruel mistress if Paul leaves before this nobody.

Who?

>George was based, he fucked Ringo's wife.
For real?

Eh, I disagree. I've never seen people argue that Magical Mystery Tour was a good film, for instance.

Please, Beatles hate has been a thing for as long as the Beatles have been popular. There's always gonna be some people who legitimately don't like them and are therefore annoyed to see them everywhere, but there also are a LOT of contrarians morons who think that they look smart by hating on popular stuff.

The only new thing is that, pretty much for the first time since The Beatles came to prominence, we live in an era where popular music is completely free of their influence, so there's an added "GOD dad your music is so boring" appeal to hating them, nowadays.

>I've actually noticed some emerging Beatles hate online.
That's called contrarianism. You can pick any very well respected / critically acclaimed subject and you will always find a vocal minority of people who claim it isn't actually that good. It says more about these people having a compulsive urge to push back against consensus in general than it does about their genuine reactions to the subject they're being contrarian about.
In high school wrestling you're taught you can push against an opponent's arm a bit and the natural reaction he'll tend to have is to push back, which you can anticipate and exploit by letting go of the pressure you initially applied and moving in the direction of his reaction push to do your preferred throw. That's a more concrete version of how contrarian psychology works. It's not that contrarians have a sincere idea to push in the direction they do. It's that they react to the push of popularity with everyone and everything in their surroundings hammering the same message to them over and over again by pushing back in the opposite direction.

>looking like total shit

It doesn't.

This ain't high school. Why hate stuff just to hate?

Obladi Oblada is the only single Beatles song that sucks, the only good version of it was when Offspring re-used the tune to make "Why don't you get a job".

>Ringo was based, he made Octopus' Garden.

Funny thing is, it's the best Beatles song, and it was written by the guy who made the least amount of their songs (Ringo wrote TWO songs with the Beatles in total, one of them being Octopus's Garden).

still looks infinitely better than most "animated" shows of today.

Attached: colette is love.jpg (848x865, 553K)

>one of
Also I love The Who but Keith Moon was kind of a one trick pony.

>Why hate stuff just to hate?
Do you even know about Twitter?

Great drummer, plus he could fuck up a hotel room like nobody's business. Two trick pony.

Yeah, he did. The funny part is him and Ringo were still the ones getting along the best towards the end of it all.

Ob-La-Di sucks ass. What the fuck?

The last 3 you listed were good but Hey Jude is meh and Let It Be is alright. I'd nominate Here Comes the Sun, A Day in the Life and I Am the Walrus. Eleanor Rigby too.

My mom asked me what my favorite Beatles song was when I was 8 (I was fascinated with music at an early age and loved Yellow Submarine. One of my favorite movies as a kid) and I remember how surprised she was when I told her "All Too Much". Great song.

Can't stand Here Comes The Sun, Something is the superior George song on Abbey Road.
