what's your opinion of the MCU?

Meh, movies are pretty good sometimes, fandom’s just annoying a lot.

best thing that has happened to the Marvel property
but I'm past the point of caring about it anymore, it's basically done for me

It's big and stupid and gay, but sometimes big stupid gay things can be fun

after Endgame I'm out I don't know what is happening in the OP I don't know what is Disney is planning I don't know what Sony is doing I don't know what FOX is doing I'm done I'm out

Attached: 1529084362308.png (142x340, 49K)

>Disneyfags

Cringe and bluepilled

This is beyond stupid. it was Disney's decision to boot Iron Boy from the MCU

There's only a handful of films I like and I'm not invested enough to watch movies about superheroes I don't care about (Captain America, Captain Marvel, Ant Man, etc)

However, despite not watching everything, I still enjoyed Infinity War and Endgame.

MCU Spider-Man movies are better than Sony movies, but they aren't as Spider-Man as the Sony movies.

We're all gonna be Disneyfags in a few years when Disney buys out all entertainment.

I hate that, on here at least, liking the MCU and wanting Spidey to stay means I'm on Disneys side with the Spider-Man thing. I just want current Spidey to continue, to not completely ignore everything he's done up to this point, and for it to not be rebooted AGAIN. If it really is all Disneys fault then I want them to get their head out of their asses and make a deal. Is it impossible at this point?

I don't find the MCU masterpieces but I am entertained by them enough to not want to see characters ripped out of it over stupid shit like this, Disneys fault or otherwise. Would be nice if Disney/Marvel at least chimed in to say if they were trying to renegotiate or not.

I like some parts but MCU Spider-Man (aka Iron Man Jr.) is the worst part of the MCU.

>MCU Spider-Man movies are better than Sony movies
My ass.
SONY has Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse which are all Masterpieces.

Attached: spider-man-into-the-spider-verse-5b18ce9422b6b.jpg (1000x1426, 218K)

This.
I don't understand what people find appealing about MCU Spider-Man, his actor has such a whiny voice.

Tony is dead so he'd not have that mentor thing going anymore. After the Mysterio thing he'd likely just go at it alone for a while. I mean we may never know now unless a deal is made but whatever. I expect disappointment as always.

ITSV is just okay. SM1 is overrated.
I'll give you SM2.

Pretty good. The movies are fun and characters are likeable, plus it inspired me to dive deeper into comics and start reading them more often. The fans wanting to storm Sony are ridiculous and cringy though, and this is coming from someone who liked the MCU's take on Spider-Man. Pic unrelated.

>ITSV is just okay
WHADDAYA MEAN "is just okay"?!

I like it

Not him and while I didn't hate it a movie about a "Spiderverse" wasn't about Spider-Man. It was about his donut steel alternate universe who got bitten by an insanely convenient super spider that jumped through the universe gate just because. Oh also he can shoot lightning and go invisible and he's capable of taking on Kingpin after like a day of doing nothing but running.

It started off pretty strong, not perfect but enjoyable. I think the last four or five movies have been at best, AT VERY BEST, average. They're slowly turning into what every other studio does with it's hero properties and that is something like movie by committee or focus group. Outside of Civil War I haven't really liked Spider-Man at all and I don't care about the Sony thing. I thought it was over pretty soon anyway I thought they had one more movie but I knew this was coming.

>Let's storm Area 51 again, only this time we're doing it for Spider-Man!

Good protagonists but shitty villains and a decent story
I think it is a just okay movie that got a well deserved Oscar but thats it.

i mean, considering this is literally a disney publicity stunt you know damn well that's exactly what's going on here

I really disliked Kingpin being the top antagonist, like, of all Fucking people, Kingpin? Really? You’d think he’d go for something like Cloning rather than extra dimensional travel to bring back Vanessa and their son. Nearly any other villain would have worked their, I think they just added him in so they could get an easy laugh at his design

It's pretty scary how much Disney has indoctrinated people into basically doing their business negotiations for them

I thought the area 51 thing was supposed to be in september

>You’d think he’d go for something like Cloning rather than extra dimensional travel to bring back Vanessa and their son

>Cloning

>storming Snoy
>when Disney gave them a horrible offer
Nani the fuck?

What's actually scary is the type of slacktivists who supported Occupy 10 years ago (from the safety of the internet) are now in their 30s the chief supporters of pretty much any overbearing corporation, as long as it superficially appears to agree with their politics.

Mcu Spidey sucks ass.

No, I think Disney furthering its monopoly through strategically getting fans to shame companies into giving them profitable deals is equally bad.

Well obviously

Okayish movies that are really overrated.

I'm in favour of anything that fucks with the MCU. Go get em Sony you beautiful slant eye nip fucks. Also now maybe Tom Holland can be Spider-Man instead of Iron-Lad.

So basically the "storm Area51" meme but now about Spider-Man?

Imagine getting so riled up over big and dumb merch commercials

What said.
I had a lot of fun with it at first.
Got tired of it sometime round second avengers film.
Went a little too hard into being a contrarian for a while.
Dialed it back.
Watched a few and liked them.
Watched the Infinity War out of obligation.

By Endgame, its strictly become a social experience, if a bunch of friends are gonna go out and see one, I'd join in, we'd either wind up bemused, liking it, or take the piss out of it.

Otherwise I'm basically done and satisfied, and unless its gonna be a big social call I'm not bothered.

Just saying that working with Clones would have probably been cheaper, easier and brought him closer to his actual wife and child rather than an alternate version

NOOOOOO CORPORATE PRODUCT IS INTERFERING WITH CORPORATE PRODUCT NOOOOOOO LET US FORM A MOVEMENT TO SAVE CORPORATE PRODUCT FROM CORPORATE PRODUCT AND HELP SAVE SWEET WONDERFUL CORPORATION FROM BAD AND WRONG CORPORATION

Winter Soldier was pretty good and Guardians of the Galaxy was fun. Infinity War/Endgame was also pretty well done.

Didn't care to watch much else.

YOU
JUST
KNOW

I said Disney, not Marvel Studios.

The only two MCU movies left I care about at all are Doc Strange 2 and Guardians 3. After them I think I'm pretty much done

That was just a warm up. Wait till Hardy gets his hands on him.

they have the same dna, his plan was finding an alternate universe where they were alive and bring them to his, kinda like finding peter B.
It makes perfect sense.

what the absolute fuck is that suit, jesus christ they were literally rapping his entire identity.

Is this an official account? If so I guess it means there's no hope of a new deal.

>they were literally rapping his entire identity

I used to really like these films, but nowadays I don't really care that much. I'll catch one if there's an opportunity, and I'd probably enjoy it, but it's not really any sort of priority for me.

I don't particularly dislike the MCU's Spider-Man. If anything, when I first saw the films in question, I honestly enjoyed them. But now I don't really care if the deal's gone south and Spider-Man can't be in the MCU anymore. It's not just Spider-Man. If it happened with any other superhero, I don't think I'd be upset.

Why do comics always have to go down the shared universe route? Why can't characters just exist in their own universe? I guess that's part of why I just can't get into Big Two comics. Nothing feels special or unique. Crossover episodes stop being fun when every episode is a crossover episode.
Anyway, I'm glad Spider-Man's out of the MCU.

That plan leaves open a looooooot Of room for error, he could have pulled forth a version of them infected with the zombie virus, or from a world where they were happy and Fisk was a legit business man. Even if they are the same person, being from an alternate universe instantly makes them different on some level. Again, this doesn’t exactly sound like a Kingpin plot here

I mean, it's based on a quote back from July.

Attached: parker.png (1202x279, 47K)

Yeah, it really bothered me how in this month’s issue of ASM they had to tell me what’s going on over in X-Men stuff. Or how like, I can’t read a GotG comic without reminding me that Frank is killing people on earth.
Oh wait, that shit didn’t happen, in fact, if you avoid events then comic titles very rarely crossover.
Key Words: AVOID. EVENTS.
Pretty simple actually.

More so I meant the break up thing. Seemed like Disney/Marvel haven't said a thing about it. Makes me hope that means negotiations are still ongoing at least. If they officially say he's out then that@'s that. I'd have to deal with another reboot of my fave hero, or for his future films to ignore everything that's happened up to now. Both kinda shitty outcomes.

It's ok but I mainly love the Ant-Man related things

Based and antpilled

Seems like the MCU is about to have it's Szechuan sauce moment.

In regards to the MCU you actually can't watch a lone characters trilogy and have it make sense if you were to start watching now.

It's fun, also they never fucked it up as much as the snyder trilogy or something like wolverine origins so can even understand normies worshipping feige and co. Probably won't keep up with the D+ shows though. And the spidey thing is stupid, the jews of each company are still in negotiations, it was the same with the fox buyout and before spiderman showed in CW.

>takes 3 movies for them to finally make a "all Peter focused movie"
This is the problem with MCU Spider-Man.

Time traveler: wich year it is?
Me: 2019
Time traveler: Oh so this is the year the great spiderman war begin
Me:

They had two chances at an “all Peter focused and Peter based” movie. They shouldn’t have fucked it up.

And knowing Feige, he would have lied and put Iron Man’s ghost and cast in the film again. Just like he lied and said he wanted to do the comic version of the emotional reveal of Aunt May finding out Peter’s Secret.

Watered down popcorn flicks made for the sake of watching explosions and cool costumes.

I dont know.
I was at first pissed at sony. Then realize that the mcu is past its peak and now is on its decline. Disney and sony knew that it would come to this after endgame. Endgame is where everyone said they were done with the MCU so disney wanted more money to make up for the losses. Sony said nah fuck you.

>they were literally rapping his entire identity

Got me dialed up to eleven
The only real avenger here
Yeah I said it
Not the first putting Parker on the map
But in 20 years
Who's the one your kid's not forgetting?
Peter's home
And I ain't going anywhere
I'm not alone
Only 15 when I swung through the city
You're living in the past
But the future's looking pretty
You adults had a good run
And yeah we all flipping 'round town
But I do my own stunts
I do my own stunts
Got my new suit
Doing things your pajamas couldn't dream of
You shoulda known I'm a real one
Do it all for Mr. S
And I'm not done
You talk a big game from the ground
But I got my head in the clouds

This is Szechuan levels of retardation. To think they made fun of DCucks watching Justice League 7 times.

>what's your opinion of the MCU?
That it's fans are now apparently terrorists
This is terrorism
Threatening people into giving you what you want in terrorism

I hope you people realize now all Marvel fans are terrorists

Attached: 1470529105975.jpg (1920x1080, 248K)

I'm so tired of it. I don't hate it but it's so so tiring.

These rabid fanboys will look so stupid once Disney and Sony go back and make a 25/75 deal like what Sony suggested, its still an improvement over the 5/95 deal they had during Homecoming and Far From Home, so Disney were stupid as fuck for saying no in that.

Attached: 8ibcstw7nj131.png (986x1314, 1.44M)

Marvel is a religion now. Ladderbro looks less and less like and oddity and more like the average Marvel fan by the day.

>Snyderfags get assblasted and annoying on the internet about a director's vision being perverted
>Mousekeeters get assblasted and annoying on the internet about an omnipresent media conglomerate losing an IP
>the latter is celebrated and the former villified

Attached: 1562319307653.jpg (799x965, 181K)

Where the fuck is the latter celebrated (outside the Marvel reddit)? I have only seen both of these phenomona being rightfully villified.

Let these idiots get arrested and have their future runied for muh spooderman.

How did the MCU manage to cultivate such a huge legion of autistic fanboys who don't actually read comics?

Much before the MCU, Marvel fans already called themselves "Marvel Zombies". You think they were kidding?

Big explosions and CGI. Cavemen eat it up.

Why is it assumed that Sony are the ones that need to be corrected here?
I think it's safe to assume Disney had the upper hand during negotiations. It just seems like they probably drew a line in the sand and when it was crossed they were more concerned with saving face than sweetening the deal.

Attached: dogdisgust.png (376x362, 311K)

It's killing film as an artform.

I don't see the appeal of it, all the characters they keep pushing have the lamest superpowers ever. American superheroes in general are boring and lame. I honestly feel bad for people who think capeshit is good escapism when it's like dipping your toes into the pool and saying "yup, that's enough for me" and then stepping back.

I feel like people who like capeshit must enjoy being normie and don't feel like being a normie is miserable, which is why their "fantasy" of choice is a character that is a boring normie outside of crimefighting.

>cool costume
