But that wasn't when Lisa Goes Gaga aired.
What is with this stupid meme you guys keep pushing?
Go kill Yea Forums. They started Sneedposting.
According to how nobody has ever sought to hold China accountable. Yea that's accurate.
In reality they would say something like on this spot in 1989 the people's police and army defeated a counterrevolutionary rebellion funded by the CIA and other anti-China elements.
lol
Laziness is counterrevolutionary. Questions are decadent. Faster hands mean less whippings.
There is literally nothing wrong with being anti-China even if that involves the CIA. Literally. Nothing. Wrong.

The day the Simpsons died
formerly alive
That was still funnier than any of the jokes in Goo Goo Gai Pan.
What year will they actually allow the Simpsons to die?
When one of the main cast dies
Harry Shearer is in his mid 70s and his death would knock out a lot of characters
I've actually been to Tian an men Square twice. The closest they have to what you are saying is just an monument dedicated to the workers of the country...which is guarded by an armed soldier and people must remain 15 feet away from.
Never. They'll replace the VAs when they die, they'll find a new director after Groening gets arrested for Epstein connections, they'll reuse Elfman's music for now until the end of time.
Wasn't that baby in like 1-1/2 episodes at most? I'm pretty sure they've had a lot bigger "Simpsons died that day" moments.
"Homer, we need your acrobatic skills! Only you can prevent this riot and save our beloved Communist dictatorship!"
-Homer does a noticeable double take-
"You guys are Commies?!?! Then why am I seeing rudimentary free markets?"
A lot of the voice actors do multiple characters
Would Fox really bother to replace them after one person dies? The show's been losing ratings for years
>China literally disabled their entire Internet for 24 hours on the 30th anniversary two months ago
They'll happily replace the VAs if it meant paying them fractions less than what they paid their predecessors.
If Dan Castallaneta died they'd cancel it. The writers hate Harry and would gladly recast his characters as one last fuck you.
Why do they hate Harry?
this episode was based on when Dana Gould went to China to adopt his first daughter.
here is his stand-up act from before the Simpsons: youtube.com
it's pretty good. i wish there were a higher-quality video of him doing the Jack Ruby bit so I could composite an all-Dana Gould version of the photo he's talking about.
Because he's been bitching and moaning about the show for over a decade now. Still won't quit though. The hypocrite.
>died
>not sneed
>people must remain 15 feet away from it
That’s hilarious.
>W-w-we did absolutely nothing here, because nothing happened!
>But if something did happen, you can bet they deserved it, rite guys?
A weak argument from morally and intellectually lazy oxygen thieves. One China can only be held together by Soft Power, pure fascism and irresponsible murder to counter peaceful protesters create a legacy you can't wipe away.
That being said, Simpsons manages to slip in decent jokes a lot later than most people realise.
he went back to stand-up afterwards, he's amazing now.
>over a decade
Try since Season 4 because he thinks the show should have ended with his gay Spinal Tap crossover.
He would...
The horror, the horror.
it says buck feed on that box
_uck _eed
They have a full hour solely dedicated to The Simpsons at D23. What do you think will happen?
A whole musical based on the anti-Trump thing they did.
Doesn't Disney own them now?
Also Candy Shop was the #1 song on the Billboard that week. This just gets worse and worse.
The mid 00s were unironically the worst years since the great depression
China is such a shithole.
>Average Sneedposter
September 28th, 1997. The day the Simpsons officially died.
I unironically liked this episode as a kid
For me personally it was a good time. I wish I could go back, honest I would.
don't summon that guy
Yes but the CIA taints everything they touch
>rudimentary free markets
That's not what that was is
What guy?
Dana is a girl's name.
that autist who draws poorly drawn fetishistic fanart of Maggie and the Chinese kid
Wasn't fashion the reason why they were there?
How old is Selma supposed to be? I assumed she was a couple years older than Marge, so maybe 40 or so? Women don't have menopause until around 50.
Hey! you don't want the monument of the workers to get filthy with the gross hands of the workers, do you?
If there's something worse than explaining a joke after telling it, it's explaining WHILE telling it.
In Principal Charming she's said to be late 30s-early 40s.
He's been gone for how long now?
kek
>Still won't quit though
That $5.5 million a year salary might be a reason for it.
you need a monster to kill other monsters
When you battle monsters, be careful not to become one yourself.
buck feed as in deer bait, retard.
>Dana is a girl's name.
well isn't that special
Also how the fuck did Yeardley Smith get her name? Like who actually sat in a maternity ward and thought yeah that's a great name for my new daughter.
sometimes parents with super-common last names like "Smith" feel pressure to pick a unique first name.
that weird-ass first name probably kept her off a no-fly list.
Don't remember what I was doing that day desu.
Homer should've COLONIZED that china-chick and left her a replacement baby for the one Selma wanted to adopt.
Lucy Liu is hot (or was 17 years ago)
LOL
>the last Star Wars
If only.
Yea Forums sounds like one of the worst boards on this site
He wont quit because theres not really anything else he could do for money at this point.
I've never met anyone who still watches modern simpsons. How the fuck are they still making new episodes?
that baby was such a fucking useless addition to the show
It's just 70 IQ people who have no hobbies other than watching TV and they just casually flip through the channels and watch whatever's on. I don't think Fox even advertises the show anymore.
Especially considering what it did to Yea Forums.
no you need a silver sword to kill monsters
next year since Groening was found to be on Epsteins Lolita-Express lel
seems like you were a faggot then like you're now
Matt Groening is barely involved with Simpsons at this point. Al Jean will just continue being in charge.
yeah idk why people act like he writes and supervises everything
>when we wake the world will end
>and I said bye, bye, miss american pie.
I rewatched this episode yesterday, it's strangely disturbing.
Felt like a Scully episode with a lot of pointless Homer abuse gags.
Buncha yellow skins.
November 8, 1998 - The day the Simpsons officially died.
When You Dish Upon A Star - Season 10, Episode 5
It's from the season that kicked off the zombie era, it was the first regular episode produced after Phil Hartman's death, and it can be argued to have started the "Simpsons meet (insert celebrities here)" trend in earnest, which would go on to define most of the zombie era.
While it was definitely a weak episode, the rest of Season 9 was pretty strong. It wasn't the day it died, but it was probably the day it first stumbled.
i get it but the part where ron howard jumps fucking kills me
>and his best friend is a talking pie
>ron you've done it again
Celebrity guests aren't too bad as long as the characters don't go "WOW, it's [firstname lastname] of [thing]" and the ep isn't just some commercial or effort to suck the celeb's dick.
Also really helps when they play an actual character and not some grotesque caricature of themself
Plenty of zombie era episodes still managed to have a handful of good jokes or visual gags, but that's like saying Carlos Mencia occasionally told a good joke... it's arguably true, but it doesn't change that most of what they came out with was shit.
SNEEEEED
I hate that half of the """""humor""""" on nu-Simpsons is basically this.
Does Groening do anything on the simpsons still? Does he not see how bad it has been in the past 20 years?
He hasn't been actively involved with the show since Clinton was president.
After you bait the buck you fuck and suck it
In a battle between Dura, Una Vela and Sneed. Who comes out as the winner?
Makes sense. The show started going south quickly after 2000.
I agree with this one. It's trash and also started the trend of Homer being an illiterate retard asshole.
Even the animation style changed with When You Dish Upon a Star. Season 9 still looked like the early seasons, whereas around Season 10 the colours became brighter and more saturated, a look that continued until the show went digital and Scully left

We're doing another stupid, nonsense thread? Cool.
I’ve also been there twice, and I think I remember seeing it over in the distance. However, I and everyone else there was mainly interested in the Forbidden Kingdom.
t. Chuck
Anti-CCP
Not anti-China
That was already happening in Season 6.
Nah, old Homer was dumb shit you remember your dad doing, as one person put it. They literally make new Homer illiterate for a gag and it's downhill from there.
