I thought it started out kind alright, but then got kind of uninteresting. Then again, I wasn't a big fan of the main cast anyway.

First half of the season started of strong, second half felt slow and lost interest for a bit, especially with that retarded part with Halo getting drunk, kissing that girl and getting into the altercation with the cop, felt like forced bullshit but at least things are picking back up

How much play does Tim and Cass get? Is Dick still hogging the screen?

Second half kind of lost me. Like I haven't bother watching the last three episodes - I'm waiting for them all to drop and then watch the full season and see if it ends up flowing any better.
As it stands the show has a bad habit of making it seem like everything's happening but it feels like nothing's happening while we're stuck with a rotating cast I only kind like some of the time. I'll still give the next season a watch probably.

Tim is not downbeat. His purpose when he was first introduced was to be the everyman -- a clever kid who was just the right person to bring Bruce out of a post-Jason depression and be the Robin he needed. He has a sense of humor.

Actually, Dick being as light as he is in recent iterations is kind of a retcon. Unless you're pulling from, say, the golden age.
