Seriously. We shoukd all hate it
Christian Nguyen
Puppet Up was really good. Maybe this will be good
remember though new kermit is still an old performer of theirs. none of this is his fault.
Parker Lopez
>Honestly I'd say a D- is generous!

>Still supporting muppets after Kermit fiasco
It probably going to be another try hard to make the muppets political and edgy like the ABC did. Who wants to watch a muppet show that implied miss piggy had a abortion? breitbart.com
Aiden Jackson
It’s Worse. The show implied Kermit broke up with miss piggy over aborting their child.
Jonathan Reyes
Logan Martinez
Pretty much that abortion Zootopia comic buy real.
Aiden Foster
This is stupid
Justin Gray
Lazy as fuck
Austin Foster
Is that Latin?
Sebastian Cook
looks like it
Samuel Moore
>kermit secretly trying to infect today's youth with an eldritch virus so they love puppets instead of minecraft and flossing
clever
I guess this explains how they are clearly walking and talking puppets, but we never actually see any people operating them
Alexander Peterson
HAHAHAHA BASED
Jason Perry
Someone translate?
Ryan Hill
>No Steve Whitmire
What's the point?
Mason Thompson
"the pleasure of being cummed inside"
Michael Diaz
>We want a Puppet Up! audience
Jacob Cruz
They probably did this just so when culture-obsessed internet investigators like you inevitably find a way to read beneath the censorship, Disney wouldn't get caught up in controversy for using foul language.
Nathaniel Baker
Get off the internet, Steve.
Henry Price
It's Lorem Ipsum, placeholder latin text to fill up space without having any meaning. It's nonsense basically.
Carson Brooks
i would watch if the new kermit didn't sound awful

Ryder Sanders
>improv
Man that sounds dumb. It's like some Disney higher-up heard Frank Oz complaining about his friends not being able to go off script, so they made a show without a script.
Leo Edwards
I think it has potential.
Juan Murphy
Slowly but surely treading into Henson Alternative style entertainment. Disney heard how much you hated The Muppets, so of course they're doubling down on your favorite crude talking, pieces of felt.
Dylan Walker
Predictable but still great
Jonathan Campbell
But will they say the F-word? Asking the important questions here.
Jason Nguyen
>unironically linking to a breitbart article
what even is this fucking website anymore
Isaac Baker
I remember translating this exact piece of text in middle school thinking my teacher put a code in it
Christian Barnes
>fully improvised Muppet comedy series with celebrity guests that will have an interview format
IT'S CALLED A TALK SHOW. Why is Disney trying so hard to hide this fact?
Colton Watson
More to the point that it just looks fucking lazy and half-assed. Anyone with a high school education (even an American one) can recognize right away it's lorem ipsum.
If they were going to make it so some of the text was still visible, then they should have done something funny and creative.
They may as well have just completely blacked out the text with solid black bars if they were going to be that lazy about it.
If the team can't bother to be creative with something as simple as an ad, what does that say for the potential of the show? Tell the team they suck at their job.

A family friendly version of Brian Henson's Puppet Up.
Jeremiah Powell
Brody Allen
I guess all those threads paid off in the end. Looks like puppet kino is back on the table.
Carson Ortiz
i thought kermit was busy being the frog culture coach on amphibia.
Jackson Cruz
Love him or hate him, Brian would've been perfect for the project. He's been doing puppet improv for the past fifteen years, and has a wildly successful stage show.
Why doesn't Disney ever contact him is beyond me. It's not like he's a stranger to Jim's old friends.
Jace Hall
I posted this in the other Muppet thread, thought I'd post it here too.
I met Steve Whitmire at Michigan Comic Con this past weekend. He dumped a bunch of info about his new project, so I thought I'd share here for those interested.
>The project will star a character named Weldon. Weldon is an "internet troll" who lives in a dark, wet cave and eats rats.
>The main form the project will take is a series of live streams that will take viewer calls. The basic format is based on a public access TV show that Steve did before he joined the Muppets with a character named Otis.
>At the end of each month (with the plan being to make it the end of each week), Weldon will "hack" Steve's website (stevewhitmire.website) and have listeners call in to complain about something and ask him for advice.
>NOTE: Weldon does not give good advice.
>These streams will also include skits, including musical numbers.
>The first of these will take place 8/31/19 at 8:31pm.
>These streams will be family friendly.
>Weldon is mean, but he's only mean to Steve.
>In the days leading up to this, Weldon will begin popping up on Steve's Instagram (instagram.com/steve_whitmire). This has already started as of Monday (pic related).
Anthony Green
Edgy Muppets are back! Can't wait for Kermit to swear, and Miss Piggy to hit the bottle several times.
Michael Hughes
Probably came straight outta lipsum.com
Christopher Cooper
It's the bullshit non-Latin that get used as placeholder text sometimes
Michael Reed
That sounds alright. Kind of a Strong Bad thing
Aaron Price
This isn't a very new concept. The likes of Hannah Barbera have been doing the whole "Old Family friendly IP gone adult and edgy" stuff for years. Just recently they made the Banana Splits into a slasher movie.
What makes Fozzie saying the F word and Kermit and Miss Piggy having BDSM sex any different? And the last time the Muppets tried to be adult and edgy the ABC show and the Happy time murders happened. They both flopped and were hated by everyone. At least the Hannah Barbera reboots are pretty well made for the most part.
Not really getting my hopes up here.
