Why do animators want to work at Nickelodeon when their shows get treated like shit?

>Chalkzone: delay it for 3 years after its pilot aires and dump it on Nicktoons
>MLAATR: Push the crew, still give it just 39 episodes, three-year gap between season 2 and 3 and burn it off on Nicktoons
>Catscratch: Cancel it because it isn't as successful as Spongebob
>El Tigre: Cancel it because it isn't as successful as Spongebob
>Harvey Beaks: Cancelling the show and dumping it on Nicktoons without telling the creator

And don't forget dropping the ball on EEnE and Adventure Time (twice). Nickelodeon is truly the worst. What went wrong?

Because Nickelodeon has my peenus weenus of course

Ha ha

Why, it's because of my peenus weenus that they want to work on it :)

Of course :D

don't forget having the rights to O'Grady after it was a The N original and barely internationally distributing it

I will never forget

They don't. Why do you think they have 3 Nicktoons?

We had this thread already.
The people who want their show on Nickelodeon won't know this until it happens to them. That's the only answer I can give you.

apparently you can have a major in Law and still be eligible for their creator program

Zoomerfaggot, this has happemed for decades now, even Welcome to the Wayne got fucked over

That show was fucking weird because it felt halfway between gen X and gen Y despite having aired solidly after gen X's heyday. The lead character is basically fucking Kurt Cobain.

What's truly amazing is that Nick still had the best shows of the big 3. They completely monopolized the "real life" cartoon shows where As Told by Ginger and Hey Arnold don't really have rivals on Disney/CN (outside of Disney's shitty Doug seasons). And then they ALSO had the best fantasy cartoon show of all time in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Disney's great shows and CN's great shows all more or less fit into the style that the network carved their niches into, but Nickelodeon had incredible range.

>Tfw Glitch Techs got delayed again to 2020
Wtf

>"real life" cartoon shows
That's slice of life

Wasn't it supposed to be out in 2018?

Pepper Ann and Recess says hi

Okay and? Like I said, those people who want their show on this network are ignorant to what will happen to their show until it actually happens. It's like a dream job of theirs that they'll expect nothing bad will happen to their show until something bad happens, whether it gets booted off the main channel and onto the Nicktoons channel or just outright cancelled because it wasn't "as successful" as SpongeBob or Loud House.

It was supposed to be out in 2017, the entire first season is already finished

But live with louie was Fox Kuds

>Why do animators want to work

FTFY.
You look for a check where one is offered.

Don't forget Weekenders, that show was dubbed the Pokemon killer for managing to gain significant ratings in the same time slot back when it aired.

timeslots varied all the time outside the USA

No way that happened.
