Maybe. Assuming it isnt a miserable repetetive slog like netflix DD and actually has some swashbuckling levity. The Disney+ shows are completely untested, I have no feelings one way or the other.

Should I?

YES

Do we know anything about the staff? I'm interested and making it TV is clearly a good call. Hate to regurgitate the meme opinion but they'd be wise to take some influence from Ellis' volume.

>Meme Knight
Isn't he just Batman but le crazy?

It’s gonna be kiddified shit

No ms. Marvel is better

>swashbuckling levity.

Attached: 1316925616457.jpg (616x569, 28K)

It's gonna be a shitskin playing him. I can already see it.

Movie or series?

You sound really gay while talking about "swashbuckling levity", Moon Knight and Daredevil both don't need that gay shit

Series

Series.

Watch out Batman. Moon Knight’s gunning for your spot.

He's Jewish, so if they did that people would complain.

It's only 6 episodes, $100 million budget, just like the other Disney+ shows

>swashbuckling levity

Attached: 1459644912851.jpg (500x479, 125K)

>imagine believing that
Isn't Moon Knights biggest writers (Moench) just a failed Batman writer?

Series then movie as an Avenger.

Seriously how can Based Marvel win this hard?

>Batman
Who?

oh shit

SUPER KINO INCOMING IF TRUE

Some dork DC has. I think he’s a Moon Knight copy.

Hell yeah. Actually the only show I'll be watching.

So... what will happen with his personalities? since Spider-Man just left and Wolverine isn't even part of the MCU yet.

>MOCN KNIGHT
?

>I only know Moon Knight from Bendis run

Words are hard huh? I just don't want a grimy monotone shitfest where Moon Knight gets into 3 hour long boring hallway fights dragged down by a cast of nagging moms in a 13 hour movie. Let comics be fun for fucks sake.

Attached: A1a4NBjjHoL.jpg (1583x2447, 1.06M)

Fucking Moon Knight, lord. It's really too bad for the netflix characters now, Daredevil didn't get too bad a treatment but the others really just lost their only chance at relevance.

Daredevil has been described as a swashbuckler since before you were born retard. He's Errol Flynn.

Please be kino

Attached: STL105677_1280x1280.jpg (834x1280, 244K)

So I guess that Bushman will be the villain of Season 1. Then maybe in Season 2 use Amon-Ra or Anubis.

Apparently Kit Harington is playing him.

Attached: Moon Knight.png (1184x804, 1.28M)

Wew. Only the biggest comic book villains, huh?

Is Dracula going to be the antagonist?

Starring Kit Harrington? Hard pass.

Jenny is probably the best chance we get to an all-around female heroine. I'm in.

Attached: shehulk-umvc3[1].jpg (1600x2774, 291K)

>DC
Washington DC?

The only big villains in the Netflix shows were Kingpin and Bulseye, everyone else were C-Listers and OCs.

Here's hoping movie synergy will work in favor of long-time comic book fans this time.

And the series with shitty villains all sucked.

The problem with Daredevil was that it was 12 episode drag for 6 episodes of plot. Not that it lacked quips and one liners to keep you entertained.

Attached: 1.jpg (487x1038, 170K)

I can't imagine how much they'll fuck it up. It'll be worse than Iron Fist.

WTF is Moon Knight even about?

>I just don't want a grimy monotone shitfest

People like you are the reason it will be awful. There's some shitty director thinking the same thing.

oh shit, Disney is coming for Dracula's money

Attached: moon knight dracula.jpg (263x547, 30K)

Remember everything you liked about Huston and Finch's run?

Disney won't allow any of that. It'll be shit.

I hope they use this design for Khonshu.

He is a guy that says things like

"I WAS DEAD ONCE! IT WAS BORING, SO I STOOD UP!!"

His writing is as good as this dialogue implies.

No, because they'll be appealing to idiots like , or Moon Knight's already gotten too much exposure and we've ended up with some shitty runs lately, he's best kept out of the limelight and only done when someone has a decent idea for what to do with him, like with the Huston and the Ellis run. Over exposure and shit like this is how we get Bendis and whatever hack was working on the latest run.

I'm hoping they allow it at least because it's a tv show.

When does it come out? 2022?

Maybe that's why Kat Dennings is coming back

Attached: Kat Dennings.jpg (1200x630, 492K)

You just want to be hated, is that it?

2022/2023.

Ill pirate, sure

They'll bitch out or not acknowledge everything that makes Moon Knight fun.

Every good story will be ignored in favor of Disney quip formulaic trash.

>thinks they will make scary Konshu in PG13 Disney+

Oh yeah, I see it.

Yes. As long they keep Khonshu, Mr.Knight and the Insanity. I demand good fights, good character study and experimental aesthetics. Moon Knight is not your average superhero schlock, be creative. Cut off some faces, let a dead God talk though you and let be led by the shadows.

When I say that Moon Knight's fans only know the character because of Ellis' edgy run, they get angry at me.

finch's run was shit

we classic era now with splash of ellis modern update, just like they did for extremis

If it's a mix between Moench, Huston and Ellis, then it will be perfect.

Attached: noonnight.png (1920x1080, 251K)

Moon Knight doesn't, but Daredevil absolutely does now and then. That was the whole point of Waid's run, which was well received after years of grim tragedy.

>It's going to be Jason Aaron's She Hulk

>gun shoots the bullet casing

Attached: 1397690025791.png (360x405, 37K)

>Jason Aarons Thor
>Jason Aarons She-Hulk
kill me now

It's better than the fuckers that only know of him because of those stupid "Le dracula has my money" edits. At least the Ellis newfags read a comic book about him.

Moon Knight doesn't have a tendency of keeping his villains alive.

Attached: 1508604916361.jpg (960x390, 104K)

Here we go with the "edgy" argument again. You do realize people like you are the reason everyone's a Deadpool 2.0 now, right?
Edge, in moderation, is good, and necessary for some diversity. I don't want to read the same quipping shit every time I open a comic book.

>Moench's Moon Knight
Ex-mercenary trying to be a hero.

>Huston Moon Knight
Huge edgelord running from the cops

>Ellis Moon Knight
"Look at me, I'm crazy and I'm violent and I wear suits."

How would you mix the 3?

That need better has Moon Knight's money!

Not every Marvel guy has to be Tony Stark/Spider man. Punisher doesn't need one liners when shooting down grease balls.

I'll wait for someone to get it all for a Megalink. No way I ain't giving Disney money.

Ellis run was the opposite of edge compared to Huston/Finch, Bemis, or even Horowitz/Opeña.

Marc was a mercenary that died while doing his first good act in life. He was resurrected by a ancient god. Since then he protects the travellers of the night.

If it's like that then i'd actually watch it. If they're smart about what stories they adapt then it could turn out really well, Scarlet Redemption comes to mind.

Ex-mercenary that runs from the cops and sometimes wears a suit?

all 3 are different aspects of his personality, so you get inception inception have to go deeper meme and he's even more batshit crazy than ever before

Moon Knight's initial runs fit what that dude is getting at, I think. MK comes off as much more "adventurer" than "vigilante"

6 episodes really isn't enough for what I want it to do but I'll watch it. I'm pretty sure Ellis did six issues for his run so I wouldn't be shocked if they just adapted those.

Ellis' Moon Knight is based on his posts on his own forum about how he wanted to write a Batman story in which Batman twist the nipples of criminals because "it's violent".

Personally I hope that Moon Knight has visions of Khonshu, in which Khonshu appears to him as skeleton bird showing him the way. The first time we hear Khonshu speak will be like this scene.

Attached: khonshuspeakstoyou.jpg (988x9000, 3.3M)

>Moon Knight

I've been reading it as Moon Night for years!

Attached: 6c8031b44d0b0d7da43abf80a31b0458.png (450x450, 465K)

>MK comes off as much more "adventurer" than "vigilante"
Moon Knight is a schizophrenic khemetic vigilante who beats people to near death and at one point used his not-batarangs to rip a man's nipples off.
What kind of fucking adventures have you been going on?

>Edgy
Ellis run was a good reinvention.

Attached: bird.jpg (1366x768, 217K)

I'll blame china if they don't.

Attached: SmugGod.png (250x816, 438K)

He comes across as that in the initial runs is what I'm saying, user. He doesn't rip....fucking....Mogart's nipples off.

He said "initial run", not Ellis run.

Do you only know the character from Ellis run?

And that's a bad thing. Here's hoping he rips as many nipples and other memorabilia as possible.

The newfaggotry in this post is off the fucking charts. Did you think this character didn't exist before the late 00's

True, Moon Knight is not as grim as one might imagine. He still can be pretty brutal, he is more a guy who is mentally out there, being lead by something. What makes far more scarier.

Attached: mkisdork.jpg (951x1321, 471K)

I said it before, I will say it again:

Every Moon Knight fan I know discovered the character with Ellis run.

They are more Ellis fans than MK fans.

I just hope that they don't overdo his Jewish heritage and remember that Mark actually doesn't care much about it. He is more a follower of the ancient Egyptian faith than Jewish.

Attached: Jale Lockley.jpg (438x391, 89K)

youtube.com/watch?v=6i-nMWgBUp0

So they'll make it a quipfest then. Why isn't this on Hulu instead of Disney+? They cancelled a book of villains series because it was too dark.

>Ellis fans don't even know that Moon Knight had a sidekick named Frenchie pre-Huston
I miss Frenchie.

>So they'll make it a quipfest then.
I hope not.

Attached: khonshu save.jpg (800x1000, 140K)

Does anyone have the virgin daredevil vs chad moon knight picture? I can't find it anywhere after I lost my last hard drive

Personally I liked the tragedy of Moon Knight losing his support characters, losing everything and more. But Frenchie was indeed everything a vigilant can want from a sidekick.

I will.

Attached: moonlet.jpg (1018x1064, 208K)

Did you even read Ellis' 6 issue run, or any of the others I mentioned? Do you know what 'comparatively' means? In Huston's run he cut off Bushman's face. I think Huston also cut off Frenchie's legs. Bemis' run had introduced a rabbi from Marc's youth who was actually an undercover Nazi who led a cult of sadists and forced Marc to fight a dolphin to the death.

My only exposure to Moonknight is when Daredevil switched coasts.

But I guess he's cool.
The marvel series have been hit or miss so I'll give it a chance.

That's gonna be very hard to pull off in live-action, mate. That's why MK works so well in comics

>Personally I liked the tragedy of Moon Knight losing his support characters, losing everything and more.
I agree, it's part of what really made Huston's run work so well, it was Marc essentially climbing out of "The Bottom" and back into the light.

>Was dragged to a boyband show by Frenchie
>Was still surprised to find out that he was gay/bi
There's a reason why Marc doesn't have the same detective schtick as Bruce.

YES! FINALLY

>we will never see moon knight and daredevil doing shit together

> we will never see Spider-man and daredevil teaming up to take down stilt man

>family friendly moon knight

I want Stilt-Man in She-Hulk

I would have gone with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau if I was gonna use someone from that GoT.

This is worse than pro-gun control punisher on Netflix.

If I here good stuff from it, I'll probably get D+ just for it.
The mouse wins again fuck

>pro-gun control punisher on Netflix.
Can we all agree Netflix had the dumbest take on the punisher ever?

Whats the point of angry of how someone finds the character?

Terrible casting. He is not Jewish. I rather take Andrew Garfield over this.

Yes. It sucked. Mostly because John Bernthal plays the same thing in everything he's in. A sweating intense looking guy who growl yells every line. And lots and lots of pacing back and forth.

It'll be a comedy and all of the MCUfags will claim that it's better than the comics.

HELL YEAH IM WATCHING IT! IT MADE ME WRITE IN CAPSLOCKS FOR THE LAST HOUR!!

What's the best place to start with Moon Knight?

The animu.

Attached: Gekko Kamen.jpg (1600x1569, 273K)

It should star Keanu Reeves.

First episode should be him vs Jack Russoff the Werewolf by Night who is wrongly accused of a grisly murder as he is passing through New York

One of the collections of old comics that Marvel puts out, i've forgotten what they're called, but Moon Knight was very much from the start written and designed by Moench and he had a fantastic vision for him that's really fun to read. It also features great art and some of the best covers that Marvel has seriously ever put out. He starts out as a villain in Werewolf By Night in '75, then for about five years features in backup/cameo stories here and there, until '80 when he gets his first solo book and continues from there.

If you want to start with something more recent then the Charlie Huston run is also amazing, but it has alot of callbacks and references to the early Moench stuff, and even some of the much later 90's comics.

faggot

That is in no way confirmed. Just that he's playing someone in MCU.

>People calling Moon Knight "Marvel's Batman".

Daredevil is closer to Nightwing than he is Batman.

Nope

Sorry Matt, you're poor.

Attached: 1558909714100.jpg (1197x1254, 517K)

So, what's his deal anyway? Everyone keeps saying "crazy Batman", but what does he do? what are his villains like?

Similar fighting style
Both very acrobatic
Both man whores
Both are driven by Guilt and a sense of Justice
They both have actual friends and connections with people and are open about them.

Where as Moon Knight and Batman on the other hand.
Both are extremely wealthy and use that wealth to pay for their gadgets and whatnot
Both are brutal in how they take down criminals, not shying away from breaking bones and maiming.
Both are very good Detectives.
Both are crazy
Both have and have had a variety of partners who aid them in their crime fighting escapades

He was literally a fag

He was a mercenary who almost died in Egypt but was "saved" by an Egyptian Moon God who may or may not actually exist and now fights evil as his champion on earth. He has Dissociative Identity Disorder, so the god, Konshu, might be one of his identities. He uses his vast fortune and skills from years of being a Mercenary to fight crime. He's had a bunch of villains but nothing to impressive or memorable on their own. He is like half Supernatural and Half Street Level so his stories tend to swap around between the two.

how will they pull off the all white suit? Pretty much everyone I've seen cosplaying it can't make it look good.

Moon Knight isn't a detective and doesn't have gadgets, and the good stories about him have his craziness be ambiguous instead of the "I'm le wacky" schlock we get these days.

Also he's had nowhere near as many sidekicks as Batman, he had Frenchie until Huston and the Midnighter for a brief time in the 90's until the kid got killed very soon after that. Other than that he's pretty much been acting solo since the 00's.

Just take his current outfit, which is pretty much just a white Nolan Batman outfit.

Alternatively you take something like the Nolan Dark Knight suit, and then put a super tight spandex body suit over it. Tight enough to make out that there is armor under it.

The Reason it doesn't look very good in Cosplay form is also because full bright lights and daylight just make it a bright white costume. The reason is looks good in the comics is stuff like shadow and lighting.

Attached: Moon_Knight_(Armored).png (830x956, 548K)

>Moon Knight isn't a detective
Yes he is. What do you think his Jake Lockley persona is for? He gathers info. And the Mr Knight personality is very much specifically a detective.

>doesn't have gadgets
Except for his various moonarangs, grappling hooks and various vehicles he uses.

>and the good stories about him have his craziness be ambiguous instead of the "I'm le wacky" schlock we get these days.
I agree but he is still just as deranged as Batman.

>Also he's had nowhere near as many sidekicks as Batman,
Maybe if you don't count his personalities.

I'm not saying they are 1:1 exactly the same character but they are more similar than Batman and Daredevil are.

As a secondary character in Blade

They'll probably make it silver

>implying

just wait it out, we'll get Daredevil eventually since the contract that prevents Netflix character in the MCU is only 2 years long or something
I seriously hope they recast Charlie Cox, though

I hate black people so no

is that you, Max Landis?

I'm not sure how the hell that's relevant here

>mocn knight

I see where you're coming from. Moon Knight doesn't do the whole forensics/psychology thing that Batman does, but Jake does do the ear-to-the-street style information and investigation side of things.

I don't really count those as gadgets per se, no more than Spidey's web slingers or DD's sticks. Moon Knight doesn't have Moon Vision Goggles, a Moon Radar or anti-Morpheus spray can on his utility belt. But yeah, they do have more in common that Bats does with Daredevil, and i think we're mostly just splitting hairs about what counts as what.

Honestly if there was an actual crossover between them then it should be done as a buddy detective story, with both of them focusing on their strengths to uncover the plot.

start with the original run, it's not bad

This would be good. He could show up as some weirdo that people end up really liking and would fit in a team up situation even if he is only in the movie for a short amount of time.

If they ever fight werewolves in Blade then that'd be the perfect time to bring in Moon Knight, he's an anti-werewolf master.

I hope they "Deadpool" his eyes. Making his eyes visible would look wrong.

they did it with Spider Man, they're going to do it to Moon Knight

Werewolves are definitely more in his wheelhouse and I would prefer it, but Moon Knight fighting vampires coincidentally at the same time as blade for different reasons isn’t too much of a leap in logic.

>MCU
nothankyou.txt

Wat. Like wtf does that even mean?

But why? Are you just one of those "TaTtOoS aRe FoR DeGENERATES" cunts?

What does Landis have to do with this ?
I also have Swampy on the same arm

Attached: IMG_20190603_225240_456.jpg (866x866, 159K)

They'll do the Shalvey suit. Maybe use the Classic costume briefly to show his debut night or maybe even something he finds in the temple and wears crossing the desert to protect against the hot sun after coming back from the dead.

Attached: aHR0cDovL3d3dy5uZXdzYXJhbWEuY29tL2ltYWdlcy9pLzAwMC8xODgvMzYzL2kwMi9NSy5qcGc=.jpg (575x370, 36K)

I doubt they choose this suit. The all white is more iconic.

But it's also much harder to make work well in live action.

It will probably have multiple materials and seams that break apart the design a little. The series has the potential to be really interesting visually, so maybe the stark white will work in a surreal way.

This is objectively his best costume

Can we not have a whole season of Marc becoming Moon Knight and just do it in an episode or 2? The formula is so old. They pad out the season and then the last episode we will see him in costume for 1 min. They need to have him become Moon Knight quick, and it is fine for him to fuck up and learn, since MK was never Batman levels of skilled anyway. Also focus more on the supernatural side of MK.

For She Hulk they cannot do the whole Woke shit it will not translate well. Jennifer is all about female empowerment but not through how I feel the show runners will do it and I feel it will just be preachy instead of empowering if that makes sense. Also have her like being She Hulk and focus on some Lawyer shenanigans in the super world.

Disney used it for Ultimate Spider-Man. Obviously that was an animated show, but still.

I wonder if they'll use the Fist of Khonshu stuff and give him lunar-based superpowers. I think they do need to learn into some kind of supernatural aspect in order to differentiate him from Daredevil.

This show will be a failure to me unless they adapt this issue

Attached: 674315.jpg (600x921, 197K)

My guess is his origin will be either disparate flashbacks or him talking about it to another character.
