Girl Meets World suffered from being on modern Disney Channel. It also took an entire season to find its stride, once it realized that not every episode had to be a Moral Lesson and Very Special Episode. If the show had been allowed to grow and age more rather than being cut because Disney couldn't make a fuckton of branding merchandise from it, it would have gotten even better.
