Iron Man creates some of mankind's greatest technology to stand alongside and up to cosmic threats and support his entire team of world saving heroes.

I like Batman way better overall, just because Tony's been in some great movies doesn't make him my favorite.

Tony puts his money into his numerous charities and foundations. Stuff like education and scholarships for children, has made homeless shelters, engineered prosthetics for disabled people, does hostile takeovers of corrupt businesses and redistributes their products and money to the victims, etc

Comic Tony has sucked hard for a while now. Most normies barely thought of him before the movie outside the cartoon and he wasn't a favorite. Comicfags hated him because of civil war. No one could name a rogue to save their life.

And honestly I love what rdj did with Tony. Gave him more personality than any comic writers could have. Actually made him likeable. MCU really did him well.

But Batman would still be Batman even if there were never the movies. Besides Batman's marvel equivalent was once Daredevil but since they don't use him in MCU and most know the movies it's now Iron Man. I'd pick Daredevil over both in terms of quality but that's another thing.

Fujos do not make up such a large amount of capeshit readers that they'd be behind the majority of his sales for the last 60 odd years especially back when fandom wasn't as mainstream and accessible as it is now and super hero were thought of as a boys only interest.
