By American style I mean format and panelling. Most Euro comics have a lot of small panels that never change shape or other things pointing to have been planned for A4 format. Unnatural is drawn and panelled like a Marvel comic (I think Andolfo drawn for it). It also has the story broken into issue-size chapters instead of having a mostly self-contained plot per album or longer "chapters".
Compare it to things like Sillage or Manara comics to see what I mean.
There was a comic about crusaders fighting aliens (not Lake of Fire, I think it was just called Crusades) that was published in my country in standard Euro format but had American style panelling, which resulted in HUGE panels on every page.

The main conceit of this comic bothers me.

It's a matter of logistics. With hundreds of different species of animals, the amount of possible mating pairs is astronomically large, with only a tiny fraction being viable for reproduction, and that's without even considering homosexuality.

With that kind of odds, a government wouldn't be able to leave it to chance that same species couples remain the norm, especially when the comic portraits interspecies relationships as desired by the characters, and same species couples being boring and prone to infidelity.

Now, I read the first few storytimes as it started coming out here, and this issue bothered me enough to stop following it. That was a while ago so I may not remember correctly, but didn't all the girl's friends also in interspecies, gay or gay interspecies relationships, and being forced to marry within their species for the system?

I noticed it but "erotic adventures of fat pig" is not something I'm comfortable buying at my LCS.

Unnatural is really good, but /co hates it for their autistic reasons. I will say though, the last arc of the title did feel a bit rushed.

I read the first couple issues and enjoyed it, but didn't keep up and so it just kinda joined my long list of "I'll read it later".

Also while they're both good, I like Beastars more.
