In panel 1 she is doing nothing, not listening to the narrator like its a voice or looking curious or even naturally walking through a park. She’s just awkwardly walking or posing, looking at nothing in particular. In panel two she is clearly posing sexily, and walking like a runway model which confuses the empowerment message and still looks awkward as fuck.

You could easily keep the empowerment and make it funny by tweaking her poses and facial expression.
