Ok, I'm pretty much done with this shit. I've seen all those pathetic Hazbin hate threads around here and while I did try to ignore them for a long time now, I just can't stand it anymore. Do you realize that you're trashing the hard work of someone who is a million times more popular than you and who has accomplished a lot more than you'll ever accomplish in your entire fucking life?
Yes, the pilot is taking a while to come out because we're only a small team of freelancer animators. We're not some big name studio who could make the show happen in 2 months. Not to mention, Hazbin is entirely a passion project that Vivienne was able to bring to reality only with the help of her friends & family. There is no profit here.
But just so you know - everyone is working really hard on this project. I've been animating reels for the last 4 hours & my fucking arm hurts so crazy. I'm hungry, tired and I need to pee but I'm still working.
Animation takes time & effort to make. Get fucking used to it.
Either way, you haters are only a half a dozen compared to all the people who are genuinely excited to have Hazbin become a real series.
This is just the pilot. It's unknown whether or not there is going to be a full fledged cartoon, but considering the hype it's been getting, I highly doubt any studio would look at this and be like "Nah, we don't accept it". Netflix is already very interested in the project & is willing to assist & sponsor us.

I know nothing about this show and I won't watch it but it makes me nostalgic so I hope it becomes popular.

It will take LONGER than a year. Vivienne hasn't planned another episode to be produced like this one - years of collaborative effort on the part of who knows how many independent artists for just 45 minutes (I think) of material (nobody would want to do that on a regular basis)- she obviously wants to pitch this as a property for one of the big networks.

If she is lucky and Hazbin Hotel gets picked up, it still won't be a full-fledged series until possibly two to three year down the line.

If this isn't bullshit then just ignore us. We'll come around and slobber all over the girls ( or the guys, fuck knows) once the show gets going.

Vivzie came up with Hazbin long ago (like 2015). Originally, the story was supposed to take place on Earth,where several dead people were brought to life as demons. Their mission was to collect souls of the living. They were all supposed to live in the same house (called "Hazbin Hotel").
But she later decided to scrap that idea and completely change it to the series actually taking place in Hell.
Vivzie even stated that the old idea is no longer Canon and when I brought it up once on Twitter, she just blocked me.
