>Steven Universe: End of an Era, Publication Date: July 7, 2020
>Steven Universe: End of an Era is the eagerly anticipated follow-up to the bestselling behind-the-scenes companion book Steven Universe: Art & Origins. Showcasing new concept art, storyboards, background paintings, and exclusive interviews, End of an Era will update the history of the Emmy Award–winning series to cover season four through to the critically acclaimed finale, “Change Your Mind,” and beyond.
>Fans can expect a special focus on creator and showrunner Rebecca Sugar’s elaborate process for creating the lore for the series, as she and the crew reveal how they discovered and developed the complete story arc for each character, as well as how they were able to design a show that so refreshingly captures and celebrates the experience of childhood. Steven Universe: End of an Era is a heartfelt send-off to one of the most progressive, imaginative, and beloved animated series of our time.
If season six is indeed the last, can this trainwreck be salvaged by the end or is it too late?
How do people with such a fatal lack of reading comprehension skills as OP even find their way to Yea Forums?
Aiden Lee
Season 5 was the last season you fucking retards. Change Your Mind was the series finale, as it says right there. "Season 6" is a new show continuing the story after a timeskip, and certainly not the last season of that new show.
Brody Kelly
Then comes Steven Universe Z: Crystal Chronicles
Cooper Martinez
>ITT: Dozens of retarded posters that only read the thread title and are too fucking stupid to realize it's wrong
Dominic Lopez
So the Steven Universe Beyond leak was real?
Hunter Scott
If that was supposed to be a series finale then it was the worst series finale ever
Jaxon Rogers
More like Steven Universe: Shippuuden.
Ryder Clark
not soon enough it's alredy caused irriversible brain damage
Ryan Hughes
Itt you making multiple posts denying reality
Brody Clark
About damn time
Parker Gomez
Sugar said that fans should expect a whole new series way before that fakeass pasta.
Adam Myers
Holy fuck finally it's over
Oliver Peterson
I didn’t think it was literal.
Eli Watson
Still, haters will pretend the show's over and shitpost about it.
Noah Diaz
Rebecca Sugar and Ian JQ said that following Change Your Mind the show would just be different that what it used to be, they didn't say anything about a new series
Jace Fisher
i feel like the new show will be similar enough, regardless of how TOTALLY DIFFERENT sugar convinces herself it is, that we'll just consider it a post-timeskip of the same show
Julian Hughes
>to cover season four through to the critically acclaimed finale, “Change Your Mind,” and beyond. >finale >and beyond
Keeping in mind that CYM is a season 5 episode, meaning they are talking about the series finale, not a season finale.
Inbred morons. I seriously can't believe how fucking stupid people in this thread are.
But bringing the extinction of the human race is always a great finale my dude
Michael Stewart
>Steven Universe: End of an Era is a heartfelt send-off to one of the most progressive, imaginative, and beloved animated series of our time. >send off = goodbye forever The book isn't being published until after the beyond has aired and the send off is inclusive of it, season six is just an epilogue.
Daniel Johnson
Not for Star vs when Star brought all those monsters to Earth. Plus those magic people.
Austin Anderson
And then we'll watch the new SU: Beyond Steven Universe after the old one is over.
Josiah Rogers
What the fuck is this creature?
Wyatt Rogers
Christ, they're going to non-dairy-milk this thing for all it's worth, huh?
Leo Martinez
Morrisey after the full sex change.
Owen Cooper
Cue all the SU tranny damage control!
Easton Brooks
Uncle Ruckus: Oh, lord have mercy! She gone! She gone! Jesus, you answered my prayers.
You are delusional and you will realize this pretty soon.
Aiden Ward
Just in case the movie is just an alternate "what if" take on the original ending.
Aaron Gray
>Saying this so close to the finales of both Adventure Time and Star Vs. Fucking please, SU's finale was rushed but far from the worst of even recent memory.
Gavin Hill
kek I'm not the guy desperately trying to spin a way to make an article about the show ending into theories about it continuing with a new series
Jacob Collins
I can't believe something this shit is on its 5th season.
Benjamin Martinez
Only people who complain about the season finale are the retards who completely disregard the show's philosophy and expected Steven to go full Rambo in Homeworld.
Noah Myers
Literally unable to read basic sentences. I hope you are grossly underage, for the sake of your intelligence.
Samuel Foster
Sugar and CN have already confirmed a new show, that's not a theory.
James Turner
Cope :-)
Benjamin Carter
They haven't though
Jordan Clark
Do you want to become a laughing stock in a compilation image?
Logan Martin
A little
Levi Wilson
Good that Steven Universe is ending. Not shitting on the show, but where do you go from "defeating" White Diamond?
Carson King
Shippuden = hurricane chronicles
Wyatt Thompson
Are you going to get even madder when Cartoon Network makes a tweet with an official statement that season six is the last one? I'll be sure to make a new thread with a link to it and this thread so everyone can laugh at your posts.
It might not be the end of the show. Since season 6 is a new direction and they just hired on a bunch of people it could be a way to build hope for a new season. Also it could mean Steven will be busy being a leader and follow other gems for now.
Jason Butler
That would line up with Zach taking time off and them still working regardless. Either way Rebecca didn't seem the least bit sad at SDCC and said there's so much more to do, so I'll wait for CN to stick a fork in it until it's actually done.
Jaxon Scott
>2064 >Oh boy oh boy, the third part of the companion book releases >Run to shop >There's like 3 sketches of peridot with an iPad, the rest is a reprint of the Teen titans go! comics from IDW >Go on Reddit saying this was the best 3 pages ever and really expanded the more >Can't wait for the next release, or the Steven thermonuclear Exterminatus as true brostal gems call it on reddit
Angel Nelson
Wait wait, I'm lost. So, Change your mind was the show finale; Okay... so What is the movie? What about season 6? Is season 6 just gotta be an epilogue insteand of an actual continuity of the show?
S6 will have stories from within the timeskip and post movie. It's an epilogue of sorts but I'd be surprised if they only gave them one more season with the movie on the horizon. It's CN's biggest show right now after all.
Cameron Lopez
The movie and next season is a continuation of the show after the timeskip and will supposedly be in some way different than the last five seasons, but according to Rebecca next season will partially include stories from between Change Your Mind and where the timeskip ends, she probably means flashbacks and recaps
Jonathan Nelson
I know we got an Amethyst origins thing
Cameron Williams
"Spin-off" still means this show ended
Noah Diaz
Probably Pearl too given Rebecca couldn't talk about it at SDCC.
>Pearl didn't belong to White >White has a hand in making all Pearls >Pearl was given to Pink prior to her being given the Earth >Pink Pearl mysteriously gone by that point
Angel Perez
I think SU did its job. If it's time to move on to a different format I welcome that wholeheartedlyl
Luis Robinson
There is no season 6. Season 5 was THE LAST ONE, as it says right there in their statement. The "Season 6" is the first season of the NEXT series, which will go on for several more seasons.
If you can't parse this from the information in the statement, you are brain damaged.
Bentley Diaz
There's still no information whether the new series will be a direct continuation from the previous SU seasons or a completely new spin-off. We only know it's gonna be new, but that's just it.
Dominic Price
Thanks for the laugh
David Fisher
>Showcasing new concept art, storyboards, background paintings, and exclusive interviews, End of an Era will update the history of the Emmy Award–winning series to cover season four through to the critically acclaimed finale, “Change Your Mind,” and beyond. Change Your Mind was a season finale but the description doesn't call it a series finale you stupid faggot, beyond is season six
The book is a send off to the show, the show will be over by or near the time it's released
Cope have sex and dilate
Caleb Brown
There is no new series or spin off alluded to by cartoon network or the show's production staff.
Kayden Howard
It's still not worse than LOGH's ending, even though the show itself was a prolonged wankfest about the "virtues" of fascism.
Thomas Nelson
Fucking hell looking at that thing always makes me want to take a shower. It's so nasty to look at, how does anyone IRL do it.
Robert Young
>or is it too late?
It was already too late by the end of Season 2.
Cooper Barnes
>can this trainwreck be salvaged by the end or is it too late? No. It fucked everything up way too badly in its last two seasons. EOE was a sad and extremely fucked up ending but it 100% fit the tone of the series, had a proper sendoff for every character and it was really pretty so I would say it is a damn good ending.
Chase Powell
>/pol/tards this desperate to lie about info we've known for months
Jordan Edwards
Lmao no it didn't, s4+s5 have some of the best episodes and arcs of the entire show and CYM was well recieved outside of Yea Forums. Go outside of your user bubble once in a while.
Cooper Myers
No, but they've alluded to season 6 being, like, a soft spin-off. In that, it'll be a whole new story, separate from the arc of seasons 1-5.
This. I feel like seasons 4 and 5 were the strongest, because they finally stepped a bit away from the filler townie shit.
Benjamin White
Exactly, they said going forward the show would be different, but the user screeching about change your mind being the series finale and everything that follows being the beginning of a new series is pulling shit out of his asshole
Jackson Rodriguez
Yeah the Steven cries about Connie throwing a bitchfit arc was thrilling
Parker Johnson
That wasn't as good as the 'we have to wrap this up as quickly and cleanly as possible so we can get to the movie' arc.
Hunter Hernandez
>s4+s5 have some of the best episodes and arcs of the entire show
I will give him S4 just because the Zoo arc was really good but otherwise that is insanity. >S4 >finally stepped a bit away from the filler townie shit
William Sanchez
Season 4 was almost entirely filler. Season 5 was bad because it was very poorly paced, the connie arc was trash, the lars arc went absolutely nowhere, it still had townie filler and pointless crap like escapism, a lot of time was wasted on gay pandering with the wedding after the pink diamond reveal, and the diamond redemptions were lazy as fuck.
Asher Flores
The key words here are "A bit"
Jonathan Morgan
How stupid do you have to be to stay in denial when the article in OP's post explicitly states CYM is the series finale, while we know the voice actors have recorded another season, meaning that season is a different show in the same universe, meaning the show is not ending in 2020.
>as well as how they were able to design a show that so refreshingly captures and celebrates the experience of childhood What the fuck are they talking about? There are at least half a dozen shows that actually do this. Not better than SU, because SU didn't even try in the first place. Is this a joke?
Logan Ward
I liked the idea of the wedding but it felt like a retarded distraction from the PD stuff in context and it being the central point for stupid shit like Bismuth's instant redemption and the Diamonds conveniently invading all alone just in time to hear about Pink ruined the entire thing for me.
Connor Scott
Everyone wants to treat SU as if it's like the secomd coming of Christ
Evan Wright
*second
Jacob Campbell
>SU ENDING IN 2020 Good! Best news all day.
Bentley Perry
So what show will SUfags gravitate to once it’s over?
Christopher Butler
Honestly wish it ended 2019, desu. I was a fan but now I want it to just die already.
Noah Myers
They're already turning to She Ra
Blake Parker
The first season sort of gave the vibe of a kid trying to live a normal life in a very strange family but the other seasons didn't even try and made Steven more of a problem solving paragon. I am going to go back to anime and remind myself to never follow a story driven cartoon that lasts longer than two seasons again since it never goes well.
Andrew Myers
Ruby's proposal was nice, that whole cowboy episode was good and I can kind of not be crushed by complete disappointing how the big PD reveal led to a fucking Garnet wedding if I shut off my brain. But that song was just too much, they get one of their few beautiful full-length episodes only to spend 4 of those precious minutes on this mind rotting musical number.
Ryan Evans
That's one of the best songs in the show IMO.
Sebastian Morales
Ture becuase they could just be going on break.
Luke Baker
>Honestly wish it ended 2019, desu It kind of did, in the sense that it might as well have. There's the movie left and maybe another 10 episodes left.
Julian Gutierrez
Season 6 will start new story lines
Parker Stewart
Artbook is called End of an Era, implying there will be a new era coming after this. The article DOES explicitly call Change Your Mind the SERIES finale, you simply lack the reading comprehension skills necessary to parse the sentence. Let me point it out for you, peabrain:
>End of an Era will update the history of the Emmy Award–winning ***series*** to cover season four through to the critically acclaimed ***finale***, “Change Your Mind,” and beyond.
You, with your lack of reading ability, parsed the sentence as if it was calling CYM the season finale of season four, ignoring the fact that the episode is the finale of season FIVE, not four.
Honestly at this point there’s enough evidence for both arguments. I don’t think anyone is crazy if they believe there’s more episodes coming or if they believe it’s over. Right now I believe the show as we know it has ended, and right now a type of “Steven Universe Z” is in development. The movie is the final sendoff to classic SU.
Dylan Sullivan
>unironically using the word hater i dont give a shit about steven universe but i hope you dont survive your sex change
Zachary Morgan
Decided to rewatch the series. Season 1 has such fucking kino, and it just slowly drains out of it. I mean, you had body horror and Steven being forced to watch alternate versions of himself die, in a rather painful way if their screams were any indication.
Andrew Watson
thats not wiermaggedon
Jose Lewis
>Even joking about Star's ending being better than anything recent At least try to be subtle about it
Eli Brown
Change Your Mind was infinitely more disappointing than Cleaved
Coldest take in the thread. Cleaved was utter bullshit. Change Your Mind was rushed, but at least it was complete and didn't end in genocide.
Colton Jenkins
Only thing wrong with CYM was some funky art when they land back in Beach City and the arc itself lacked more episodes to flesh out White. I don't think you'll find anyone positively talking about it who wouldn't agree it needed more time.
Nathan Garcia
Nowhere in your quotes text does it call change your mind the series finale. Nowhere does it say a new series is coming.
You're just setting yourself up for more heartbreak and disappointment user. I tried to warn you. Your desperate theories and damage control won't change that this article just confirmed season six as the last season, better to accept it and say goodbye now.
Adam Martin
Not even close unless you were just absolutely slobbering on SU's cock. Change Your Mind was clearly rushed out the gate and came out of nowhere while Cleaved went against some of the core themes of the show itself
Kayden Taylor
I didn't say Cleaved was better, I said Change Your Mind was more disappointing. Which it was. Cleaved was exactly what I thought it'd be, I at least like the conceptual thought that Star had to sacrifice something to save the day (magic) in fact wish they leaned into it more the only complaint I have here was how flippant it all was.
Thomas Long
Cleaved was more disappointing because it totally ditched most of the themes set up in the show. Which were surprisingly well cultivated. The only problem with CYM is that it was rushed. >Star had to sacrifice something to save the day Okay, but SHE didn't really lose anything. All of the creatures who depended on magic to survive did.
Ayden Evans
There will never be an ending approaching anywhere near as bad as Homestuck's.
Nathan Cruz
>it totally ditched most of the themes set up in the show like what
You will feel pretty stupid when you realize the truth was literally posted in your face and you just didn't understand what it said because of your grade school level reading ability.
Blake Anderson
Good riddance.
Christian Lewis
It was, but only because Steven Universe had actual worth, while Star VS was always garbage.
Austin Thomas
Hello. Next season will be about Steven trying to explore the other realms outside the Gempire's boundaries. Arch sorcerer and the duchess of grand alchemy Rajax had made a deal with Serpent Riders in exchange of the chaos spheres and the control of the Parthoris realm. But soon after Eidolon, the third serpent had been defeated, Rajax had feared that heroes would soon come after her as a revenge for helping Serpent Riders. Rajax then created three diamonds and ordered them to build a grand empire, in order to prevent the arrival of heroes. Afterwards, Rajax had fallen dormant into a deep astral meditation in her sacred domain in the very depths of Homeworld, only waiting for the right time.
EoE is probably the best anime ending, or ending in general, ever though
Dylan Ortiz
Orignal ending was more fitting and certainly more plausible. EOE was just a "take this and just shut up" move from Anno.
Bentley Flores
That's an old and unflattering photo. Not that it matters.
Joseph Stewart
she's worse now, she's obsessed with not looking feminine anymore. It's getting grotesque.
Xavier Taylor
Both endings are fitting and serve their purpose. I don't know what you mean by more plausible because it's just alternate universe shit and omniscient narration compared to EoE's robot fighting.
Carter Harris
Back to Yea Forums you EVA babies
Sebastian Jackson
Su is just a bad rip off of eva and utena, learn your place su cuck
Ryan Turner
I can't go back sir I'll be a good boy and talk about the gay rock show.
I don't really care how/when the show ends since mainstream discussion has kind of died down and I don't have to listen to people talk about it. I just really dread whatever show is gonna come next to fill the "omg so deep/progressive" void
Matthew Cruz
It's more plausbile because it's the original ending planned by Anno as Shinji accepting instrumentality and making peace with himself. EoE is just an intentional clusterfuck that has nothing to do with the original premise of Eva.
Mason Cooper
You mean the nonsensical AU ending that doesn't mesh with the rest of the show at all and only happened because they ran out of money and Anno said fuck it?
Jose Jackson
Canonically, AU ending is EoE because even the movie was solely planned to silence angry fans who are too dumb to understand deconstructionism.
Carter Edwards
Why does Evangelion get talked about all the time, especially on irrelevant boards? It was mediocre.
Oliver Howard
Because there's nothing else to discuss in this thread. SU threads has been dead/regular trolling and shitposting since CYM and we're all waiting for the new movie for quality discussion.
Alexander Ramirez
She grew her hair out user-kun. Looks much healthier now.
Yeah I thought it sounded too high pitched to be Tara. Glad I was right, Sarah's a great broadway singer,
Ayden Moore
I also love seeing my favorite diverse tv show crossing with a semi obscure retro fps game franchise.
Joshua Cooper
Oh no, what will the cartoon goblin do now?
Landon Kelly
The fans were angry because it made no sense and didn't flow at all. No matter what his intentions were there has to be some kind of thread leading to the ending and it is sort of hard to draw a line from Shinji defeating the second to last angel to a happy school comedy AU and a half hour of Shinji and pals talking about their feelings in an empty room without context.
Jaxson Bennett
Yea Forums was essentially founded to be a moefag cancer containment facility, but there are plenty of shonen threads (and evangelion threads) on Yea Forums
Julian Bailey
Because after killing Nagisa, Human Instrumentality Project has got activated without Shinji and he was basically dead/being in the Chamber of Guf like everyone else in the world in the last 2 episodes.
Hudson Carter
I hate it when the graph fight Linus shows up to the floor.
Wyatt Anderson
Twelve forever
Grayson Richardson
I've never seen cleaved, can any of you guys tell me what happened on that episode?
Nolan Myers
Is that what rebecca sugar looks like? Jesus christ it's ugly.
David White
Bitch faggot nigger dyke
Nicholas Sanchez
I very much look forward to the new era being off the schedule for seasons on end, only to have premieres air once and never again in between interminable hiatuses.
James Baker
who is this goblin?
James Rivera
owl house or sugar's next show
Wyatt Nguyen
This is what will cause fans to want to shoot up CN HQ or conventions
Henry Murphy
star vs finale, star removed all the magic from the world, this indirectly killed a bunch of characters which caused people to meme that star committed genocide
nah, theyre not white guys
Joseph Gutierrez
that one was great you absolute plebeian.
Brayden Wright
user, i love EoE and i'm thankful we got it, but if you think the original ending is nonsensical then either you weren't paying attention, or you're a brainlet. it was the perfect conclusion to Shinji's character arc.
Christian Richardson
>hat so refreshingly captures and celebrates the experience of childhood there is literally nothing about this show that has anything to do with childhood
>progressive there it is
Hudson Hill
You will never have sex
Samuel Mitchell
The more recent shooters have been leftists, the YouTube HQ shooter was trans.
Alexander Hill
Homestuck is still going and retconning everything. Terezi and John flirt through texts in the "Candy" route and he fucks Terezi in the back of his dad's car in the "Meat" route. Most stuff involving anyone else is dogshit though.
Kayden Richardson
Retard, it's literally a coming of age story. Just because you mongolids started throwing tantrums when it turned out it wouldn't be Voltron 2.0 doesn't change that.
Lucas Collins
>The more recent shooters have been leftists They've been alt-right or apolitical.
Justin Ramirez
Homestuck not being allowed to die is one of the countless problems with the ending.
Julian Green
May have gotten an "ending" but it's not ended.
Adam Wood
Jesus, she can actually clean up nice and look seriously dickable. Who told her to look like that? Who told her that, that was okay. Goddamnit I'm going to hatefuck her into the fucking earth and drag her barely conscious cumfilled sweating body to the nearest beauty parlor to have them do something to her.
one female vs numerous male shooters who look like the left side of the 'virgin vs chad' memes makes your brain do the big brain huh
Lucas Miller
Most of the shootings have been hamfisted false flags. With the net being what it is and whistel blowers and hackers of unimaginable skill popping up...it's onlyh a matter of time before things begin to get bad.
I'm deeply terrified of what's going to happen to the west and america going forward. If what I think is true is actually true and when it comes out... Goddamn I'm going to mexico or canada.
Camden Watson
>If what I think is true is actually true and when it comes out... And what would that be?
Hudson Green
Steven gets raped by his dad
Xavier Lopez
>Trump gers second term >Soilent Cuckverse finally over a good year lads
John Miller
>A human being typed these words Just call him a faggot, least you don't look retarded that way
Benjamin Wood
Bruh, the story is continuing in a sequel show that takes place after the time skip. With 5 Seasons, a TV movie and a spinoff, we’re officially at the point where no hater can claim that this show failed or was a flash in the pan when the whole thing ends.
Angel Carter
That's the spirit
Ryder Bailey
I mean Star Vs. had a worse series finale just this year.
Brody Reyes
I think the franchise will continue after S6 but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. It's neither confirmed to be cancelled or renewed and the earliest we'll probably know is after the movie airs.
John Howard
>Orignal ending was more fitting and certainly more plausible. EOE was just a "take this and just shut up" move from Anno. The endings aren't actually that different though. EoE is just more coherent. The only major addition is the beach scene at the end which really changes nothing about the shows ending other than showing that he isn't immediately magically "fixed" but he's just taken the first step.
Benjamin Wright
Give a source confirming there will be a spinoff
Oh right there isn't one
The show is over after next season, bruh
Jacob Hill
SvtFOE had its lows especially s4 but lets be real. It was a show with much higher production values than SU on its best day of tracing anime scenes.
Cleaved, while lacking, had the balls to make an ending that completely changed the in-universe. The bad guy wasn't redeemed with an apology and a song... it took a great sacrifice to reach its conclusion. Magic was always shown to be destructive when in the wrong hands, and even a development hinderance when used "right".
Tranny Universe is not in the same conversation as real works of art like Adventure Time or Gravity Falls, or even Star vs... Sugar's pile of shit is on the same level of in-universe consistency, risk taking, and contrivence as the Drake Bell live action FOP movies. Worse, even.
Damn dude that’s a lot of shit opinions in one post. From defending the “better” production values with their Toon Boom rubber mouth animation from day one that just changed style midway through, to acting like the show is somehow more sophisticated because it ended with a sacrifice, even though SU was always WAY more consistent with its messaging while Star basically awkwardly sidled into forced racism allegories and high stakes and ended with a conclusion that didn’t even fit that, or portray its characters fairly, to trying to lump Star Vs in with shows whose highs were way above anything Nefcy could conceive.
I guess I have a better sense of the intelligence level of people who are diehard Star Vs fans though.
Brody Gray
Way to say a lot without saying anythinf at all.
>Great sacrifice LOL. Star decides magic is bad, gets rid of magic and is rewarded with what she wants. Other people lost, she gained.
Jackson Price
An era of utter mediocrity
Brody Carter
uglier children than with ian
Robert Bennett
I am actually surprised by how indifferent I am at this point.
>White Diamond was trying to raise her universe’s mortal level so they can compete in the Tournament of Power in time
See, I don’t even disagree it was BAD but you chose a very poor year to make that statement. You chose a year where Star Butterfly got cucked and then decided to end all magic, killing some sapient beings in the process. You chose a year when Adventure Time decided Finn didn’t even deserve a big climatic anything. You chose a year where Mabel being a selfish bitch was never resolved, and Bill Cipher kept conveniently forgotetting he was a cosmic reality warper merely prevented from getting out by the unicorn hair bubble whenever anyone not the Time Baby actually stood up and fought back against him.
Say what you like about the Steven Universe finale, but it didn’t have Mabel Pines in it.
Anthony Ross
Goddamn, she looks so much better with long hair
Joshua Gutierrez
CYM was the good time to end it honestly, now we can hope that it ends properly
Hudson Adams
Mr. Multiverse is here
Benjamin Green
>book is called steven universe: end of an era Christ how self indulgent do you have to be?
Gabriel Allen
You know that's how they define spans of time on Homeworld right
Christopher Powell
of course he doesn't, he just want's something to shit on.
Luke Cooper
I thought it was already over
Parker Sanders
I’m not looking to shit on SU. From an outsider who doesn’t know the shows lore it sounds pretentious
Jose King
Movie on Sept 2nd and then a sixth season sometime after. It could be the last one but Rebecca hasn't said a peep about it and yet OK KO signposted its conclusion pretty openly.
Gabriel Thomas
They haven't announced season six yet because they know that when they do they're going to have to spill the beans about the show ending
William Ortiz
so progenitor snake people confirmed?
Alexander Smith
It could very well be the case, but I'm just gonna wait and see
Ian Hernandez
OK KO didn’t announce it was ending until after the Sonic episode when it was getting lots of press. They had a Comic Con panel barely 2 weeks before and said nothing of the show ending even then. If this is the end of Steven Universe, it will likely be announced very shortly before the end, after whatever the show’s next-to-last big event ends up being.
Jackson Lopez
Also a good point. It's weird, I've been ready for it to be over for a long time (not that I'm bored of it I just follow the ratings) so with the movie reviewing well and what may be a final season dealing with multiple points in time (post CYM/pre movie + post movie) that'd be a great way to send it off.
Kevin Clark
life is demanding
Bentley Morris
>no hater can claim that this show is a flash in the pan
Things need to be either good (myriads of examples) or groundbreaking (Homestuck) in order to last past the end of the story. SU is neither. It'll die and, at the least, discussion of it on Yea Forums will nosedive as soon as the movie's over.
Public opinion claims otherwise Vergil-kun. It's a media darling and not just because of the LGBT stuff either. Regardless of whether any of us here like it or not it's succeeded and will be remembered fondly.
Jaxson Moore
Based if real
Jack Rogers
Imagine thinking Homestuck is still intimately discussed by more than a few thousand people.
Evan Lewis
Flavors of the month typically are. Give it a year or two and it'll be done and dusted.
Yeah the point is Homestuck still has a few thousand people talking about it despite being shit for like half its runtime
yeah... as much as I hate to admit that... Teen Titans Go is superior to Steven Universe.
Cameron Martinez
why? The song was essentially "Lets all be deniers about the fact our messiah was pink Palpatine, so we can celebrate a wedding to get our minds off our own sins"
Hunter Richardson
no
Sebastian Turner
t. homo and/or fatass
Levi Johnson
no
Nolan Butler
more like steven poo-niverse
Andrew Gomez
We finally did it. After all these years of bitching about transgenderism and crying about crying, we've finally driven it off the air. Well done, fellow incelbros.
Zachary Lewis
Seriously though this show should have ended in like 2017 if they actually played the episodes once in a while. Instead the massive amounts of time between each batch of episodes has artificially elongated the show's airtime, I would say doubled since I remember it started running in 2013. Why isn't there a painless way to stop existing? Why does so much time keep passing while life is so banal and empty?
Nathaniel Carter
>Why isn't there a painless way to stop existing? You could die on your sleep. Stop being a whiny bitch anyway.
Leo Turner

Colton Rivera
My nigga. Honestly the confrontation between Julian and Reinhard was too one sided.
Dylan Myers
I am not exaggerating when I say that Steven Universe: Change Your Mind is among my favorite Cartoon Network finales ever. It's up there with Big Picture Show and Regular Show's finale honestly.
It's rushed in some areas and Season 5 could've been reworked to fix that, but what they were able to do was really great.
Brayden Wright
It's a figure of speech, it doesn't have to actually last a month. The point is people are only attracted to it while it's around for ultimately superficial reasons that don't linger for long after it ends.
Austin James
It was shit
Gavin Myers
>one of the most progressive, imaginative, and beloved animated series of our time. Are people genuinely this deluded for Steven universe?
Logan Rogers
You think this is a good thing, but watch them make a series even more cancerous that will make every other show follow in their footsteps.
Oh no the gay space rock show is ending. What a shock.
Dylan Thomas
