I mean I'm OK with this short and it's cool in its way, but it still has a lot of glaring flaws.

I would've much preferred seeing John K just stick to music videos, since animating characters looking quirky seems to be the thing he really cares about.

I have no idea how anyone can still defend John K at this point. Even putting aside how much of a raging lazy asshole he is, the fact that this shitty short took years and years to be released unfinished should turn any sensible person away from his banner. A lot of money went into this and the final product is barely mediocre. "A few good parts" is not my idea of hundreds of thousands of dollars well spent.
Fuck John K, and fuck every other craven hack opportunist on Kickstarter who takes advantage of people's goodwill to rip them off.

The writing and humor isn't atrocious and most of it is inoffensive, but GOD is it ugly and visibly unfinished. Ironically it's exactly the kind of thing he used to complain about all the time. The actual cartooning is trash but it leans on the style of humor to get through it.
