NOPE, the Uzimaki aren't just a special clan, but they're basically perfect hosts for this demon! Also Naruto is related to the 4th Hokage, Jiraya takes him as an apprentice only because of his demon and relation to the 4th, he's related to the 1st also, and fuck it he's Ninja Jesus too

It's cool user. The setting is cool, there are enough characters that everyone finds at least a few cool, and they get into cool fights with cool powers. It's not well written or particularly well acted, but it doesn't have to be. Sometimes shit is just childish entertainment and that is enough.

I hated that "you're related to the 4th Hokage" crap. Naruto was interesting because he was a true outsider and that revelation just shit all over that. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever enjoyed a "you're actually the chosen one" reveal because it's lazy as fuck writing. I hated it when they did it with Terry McGinnis too.
