Spider-Man: Life Story

Thoughts on the series thus far? Predictions for issue 6? Who else would you want to see get a Life Story?

Here’s the variant for Issue 6 for anyone that hasn’t seen it yet. I thought KraVenom died off-panel because of the cancer, but I guess the symbiote has been keeping him alive for 35 years. Or dragging his corpse around.

Looks like a woman

I thought those were some wild nipples

Remember it was canon that the symbiot ate the hormones released through eddies tumor. I honestly am not sure what’ll happen, the only story of note that happened this decade was spiderverse and considering what happened with Norman he isn’t going to come back to replace Tony’s place in the government, I hope it doesn’t end with his death but I don’t see how it doesn’t we’ll see if his son died last issue

The real question is why does marvel dump all of Pete’s comics on the same week it’d be nice if they were peppered throughout the month amazing one week friendly the next and whatever one shots or tie ins after

holy shit he has fight club tits

Spider-Verse happens, Pete retires and Miles takes over.
Kraven Venom I guess. if they're implying Venom is Spider-Man ultimate enemy, boy are they wrong.

>Peter's daughter becomes the new Spider-Man
>the Symbiote goes to Miles and makes him the new Venom

That's about the goofiest thing I can think of.

Peter will probably die. Maybe they'll introduce Miles?
Alternatively mystic de-aging/ reality warping isnt out of the question.
I assume this to be the last issue but I'm not sure.

Norman and Otto are too old/dead to fight anymore, user.

I doubt they’re implying that Venom is Spider-Man’s greatest enemy, but Norman and Otto are both long dead, and most of his other villains probably would be too after 57 years. The symbiote is the only villain of his that could’ve survived this long without cloning, and while Otto cloning himself could be possible it would’ve been done already because he was old and near death in the 90’s issue.

Is norman officially dead? We last saw him in the 90s mourning his sons death

I mean technically we don’t see Norman or Otto die but they’re both very, very old in the 90s. They’re just never mentioned again. Reed suffers a similar fate, he looks like hell on that Secret Wars splash page and we never hear of him after that.

We'll see, if civil war went the way of the comics cap ends up losing and dying so maybe we'll get a sick shot of spidey with the shield

Great, now I can't unsee it you fuckers.

Civil War opens up so many possible stories in this universe and I’d love to see how it ends instead of just hearing about it. Tony saying “There’s only one way this ends. You know where to find me” made me want to see what was going to happen, but sadly Issue 6 picks up 13 years after all that. I’d love to see Spidey with the shield too

1)Peter ties up the KraVenom thing as his last adventure, so he can retire now that every villain of his is dead, old or rehabilitated. Claire is wary since MJ died recently but comes with him.
They find out KraVenom vad been working with someone in symbiote/spider DNA experiments. After KraVenom is defeated after Peter finds the will to beat, after that Peter and Claire find Milos and in the corner of the page appears a box saying something like " You already know the rest... and that was my life story".
We cut to Peter and Miles in a restaurant.
"I told you all of this in order to know what you'll face once you take the mantle". Peter and Miles continue talking and when Miles is about to leave, he asks "But, in the end...Are you, at least, happy or content with what you have ?"
Peter thinks about it and we see a collage of the people in his life, dead or alive.
He says "Yes." with a smile and we see around him the smiling of everyone he lost smiling with him, most notably Uncle Ben whom Peter exactly look like.
2)The same thing except with 616 Peter after Spider-geddon or spider-verse, so 616 Peter has someone to have him hope for a better life in his own universe.

Didn't Norman die onscreen from a heart attack?

I don't think so he was just shocked that all of his plans lead to his son's death, though have we seen normie in this?

He did.

I think you’re right. Doesn’t change the fact that Otto didn’t have an onscreen death so a clone is maybe possible, especially since Superior happened this decade.
We don’t see Normie at all, but that’s because Harry doesn’t get much screentime.

Forgot this happened. I need to read the series again

man Tony Stark is such a cunt in this comic yet its perfectly in line with how we was in CW

Well we know one of the villains in the issue because of the variant. We saw Peter were a suit that looked like Miles' design in the previous issue, so Miles would probably show up.

I guess we'll also see the ramifications of the Civil War, or at least ramifications of last issue's ending.

No sign from the official preview? Because I really want to see it.

Personally, I'm very nervous about what it could happen after last issue. I mean, I doubt MJ survived after the tragic death of his son because of that accursed Morlun. I would like, however, like to see his son resurrect because of the Other.

Considering how much incredibly imbecile Stark is, I want Iron Man ruined in this reality.

And I believe this issue could be a "recopilatory" from previous issues. I mean, I'm sure Kravenom won't be the only problem. Morlun might return too (Spider-Verse), Doc Ock as Superior Spider-Man, or Norman Osborn in a cloned body.

There are so many stories to have influence in this last issue. Spider-Island is one of them, as it could be Peter's final "legacy" to the world.

Official preview won't be out until the next few days.

Some comic previews comes the previous week they are supposed to come out, even the previous wednesday.

Dropped this shit when they introduced the clones.

In the second issue? It got better in the 80s and 90s

They used to do it with Captain America too, where you'd have Steve and Sam's books on the same day, and Winter Soldier too.

They actually acknowledge how ridiculous the Clone Saga is by overlooking most of it. Sadly it’s still the dominant storyline of the 90s issue, so no Maximum Carnage.

This story is literally just Peter Parkers entirely history told in real time with no plot armor. Clones are part of his history, it happens, but then its over.

His name is Sergei Kravinoff.

>Thoughts on the series thus fa
Best new comic I've read in years. Bought every issue but the first one, need to find it somewhere.

Even though I am buying all of the issues I am also getting the TPB, I can't say that about a lot of comics
