Gotta protect the breeding stock

So you start a political screeching thread, of course

Men having slightly higher physical strength isn’t really a factor when you can burn people to ashes by waving your hands around

The Boulder would like to disagree

Strong need for fighting efficient soldiers on the actual front line mean you'll need to make compromises at some point during some situations.

Even if you don't want women and grumpy old retards in your forces, you'll maybe won't have a choice.

Fire Nation, while relentlessly repressive in some aspects, was really progressive in others. Advanced technology, gender equality... their biggest issue was attempting to force their superiority on everyone else militarily rather than going for the culture victory.

Universal conscription.

Why are you reading shitty comics?

This is from the show

based retard

I think those are non-benders though.

That's basically what I've chosen to believe. The War has been going on for a hundred years, the stock of fresh young men must be running low.

Besides this being stupid, you never see female Fire Nation soldiers until the last season when the Gaang arrives in Fire Nation territory.

Because the 'bad guys' were less backwards and conservative than the 'good nations.

The Boulder lost to a small blind girl.

Is using women in warfare a sign of progressivism?

Compare that to the most 'civilized' water tribe nation where they don't even let women learn waterbending.

>slightly

The only way a war could be wage for this long without a complete depopulation of the warring nation involved would be if all sides agreed to certain conventions, wich is my head canon for them not killing each others during the show.

It's a sign of despair and heavy strain, same if you let childrens in your army and this is universal.

Sure they did? They were taught to use it to heal.

>It's a sign of despair and heavy strain, same if you let childrens in your army and this is universal.

Pretty much, but it doesn't seem to be seen as that by many.

>it doesn't seem to be seen as that by many.
That "many" are idiots and have no sense of reality, womens in today's armies usually occupy none fighting roles, wich is where they are at their best, anyone telling you otherwise is trying to make the cat do the work of the horse and anyone calling that shit "progress" while trying to implement it should be seriously concidered as a traitor that seek to weaken a nation's military force.

I always thought these domestic forces were more of a police force anyway
Women in the police is not strange

Also in the world of Avatar strength is clearly less important
