Final space needs to be banned from Yea Forums for good. The janitor is justified for what he's done and I report this garbage every time it shows up. List of offenses:
1. MANY spam threads
These threads cover up the board and give the rest of Yea Forums and new people a very bad impression of us, it doesn't help that they are always the most worthless and shitty threads imaginable.

2. This show is fucking trash
This show is terrible and filled with cliches, mediocre writing, and bad characters. It attempts to be funny with SO LE RANDUM XD and SHITTY, CRINGE and UNFUNNY humor and occasionally panders to its dumb fuck audience with dumb shit like incessant SCREAMING and TriBORING

3. The people in these threads are literally bad people.
They can't fucking post anything intelligence, its just pure stupidity and shitty posting not to mention you guys have the dumbest fucking memes like god damn HOMOSHIT.

What happened to the writers of season one?

Everything feels too wishy-washy, the bland plot of "Uhh, find the.. 12 Maguffins.. Before the.. I guess no one else is looking for them... Go get em."

I quite like Clarence and Fox, but find Ashe to be incredibly one dimensional, despite her first appearance when she was concerned about Gary and Little Cato giving her some kind of character rather than just "extra edgy raven."

I find New-Hue to be just a heavy character assassination, I really liked him as the facticulating and rational AI who still had moments of humanity and empathy looking after Gary, the episode intro scenes with him and Gary in season 1, him locking Quinn down until she watched his videos, refusing to leave the Supernova and waiting for Gary, these made his character and there is none of that anymore, hes just "Hugh the crappy robot, because we heard you liked Jerry from Rick and Morty!".

Reviving Avacato through Deus Ex Machina was a huge blow to the shows credibility, especially when the serious consequence of Gary having to stay behind resulted in.. him sitting in a cave for 3 months with no issues what so ever and panned out over less than 5 seconds of screen time. They could have put a spongebob "Three months later" eyecatch between. Especially since they have INSTANTLY had Avacato get his memories back at the FIRST thing they tried.

I will give them some slight lee-way for it, because the Drama between LittleCato and Avacato was really interesting in last episode and the Invictus possession leads them in interesting directions so lets see what happens.

But on the note, what happened to the consequences of LittleCato living 60 years in the time-warp and remembering everything that was supposed to leave his character haunted but was immediately forgotten?

Generally a lack of consequences, a lack of urgency, too many cooks with all the extra characters.

Best episode so far was "The first time they met" because it seemed like there were consequences to things happening for once.

Unfortunately I can't find one of season 1. If any based user could post a link I'd be one happy faggot.

-Gary got reeled in. He's less annoying maybe, but now he doesn't really feel like he's facing any character development. He's just an all good guy who's there.

-H.U.E. was great as the ship's A.I. Gary's strict keeper and guide who developed into a friend. Those intro bits with Gary and H.U.E giving a back and forth as Gary's oxygen ran out, growing more and more somber as the finale approached were fantastic. But now H.U.E. is basically Klaus from American Dad. A pathetic character for the cast to shit on and forget about constantly while he makes "greetings fellow kids" jokes every episode.

-Mooncake and Nightfall are both just... there. Neither feel like they have much importance or reason to stick around anymore

-New additions are meh. Clarence is annoying and antagonistic- would be ok only appearing every so often but not as a main character. His children could be good, but really aren't getting much focus and/or reason to be there. Ashe(?) had a bit, but was pretty much swept under the rug right after.

-Tribor. Tribor is awful. His shtick was cringey and annoying 2 minutes into his first appearance in S1. "He's saying things in an unnecessarily serious way, but he's got a wacky lispy voice, HOW SILLY!" That's it. That's the entire character. That's every second of his screen time. I genuinely wish he would turn out to be the main villain so I could watch the characters murder the fuck out of him.

I remember one of the little interviews that Olan did at the end of each episode in season 1, he noted that he wanted the consequences of each episode to matter. Gary loses his arm and doesn't just get it back somehow, Avocato dies and the characters have to live with it (they even had a time machine there and got denied), earth gets sucked into the breach and destroyed, etc.
You hit the nail on the head with that- it doesn't feel like there's consequences anymore. I know a lot of people wanted Avocato back, but still...
How much do you want to be Gary's going to be back to normal and healed of all his gunshot wounds at the start of next ep?

All the episodes feel too short.

The season premiere could've benefited from being 44 mins instead of 22. In fact I heard it was originally supposed to.

Is it actually any good? My buddy was an animator on the show, but I haven't gotten around to watching it.

The show is mediocre and honestly not worth watching for the story nor the comedy, but the visuals are its definite strong point. Tell your buddy that he and the rest of the folks over at Jam Filled are doing a stellar job. And remind him to let the DCSHG team know that Kara Danvers is hot as hell and needs WAY more fanservice!
